Chapter 14: Chapter 14

I was now getting dressed for my first date with Sean. He texted me this morning that he wanted to take me out and asked me to dress nice because it was out first date. I kept asking him where he was taking me but he didn't want to tell me because he said it was a surprise.

What was it with guys and their surprises?

I got a text just now from Dani and said that she wouldn't be home tonight because James took her on a date and decided to stay at his place. Well, at least I wouldn't have to tell her where I'd been.

I was putting on my mascara when I heard they bell went off. I quickly put away my mascara and headed to the door. I opened it revealing a handsome looking Greek God making my jaw dropped.

"Wow", I heard him said and he looked at me from head to toe.

"What?", I asked checking at what I was wearing.

"You-you look so beautiful", he said never taking his eyes off my body.

"Thanks. You look very handsome too", I smiled shyly.

"Do you want to come in?". I asked nervously.

"Sure", he said stepping inside. He looked around the surroundings before took a seat on the couch.

"Uh, I'm going to grab my purse then we can go", I said then left to my room to grab my things.

I grabbed my high heels and purse then checked myself once again in the mirror before went out.

Sean was still seated on the couch when I came back and seemed like he was texting someone.

"Ready to go?", his head turned to me and smiled when he saw me.

"Sure. Let's go", he said taking my hand.

We went to the parking lot and he led me to his car and my jaw dropped.

"Oh my God. Please don't tell me that this is a freaking Audi A7?", I said instantly touching the car.

"It is Audi A7. I just got it last week", he said proudly as he opened the car door for me. I sat inside and couldn't hide my excitement.

Sean started the car and we drifted off from the apartment.

"So you still won't tell me where we're going?", I tried asking him again.

"Nope", he siad popping the p.

I just sighed and laid my head against the window. I felt myself getting sleepy but straighten up when the car stopped.

"We're here", Sean said unbuckling his seat belt. I looked around my surroundings and I had no idea where the hell we were. I was snapped out of my thoughts when Sean opened my car door.

"Where are we?", I asked him as I got out of the car.

"You'll see", he said taking my hand. He led me inside a building and it was so dark that I had to take a hold of Sean's arm.

"Sean, where the hell are we?", I asked impatiently. He didn't respond but then I realized where we were.

"We're in a aquarium?", I asked in disbelief. I'd never been in a aquarium before.

"You don't like it?", he sounded hurt.

"What? I love it", I giggled and he sighed in relief.

"But how come there's nobody here?" I looked it the empty hallways.

"I kind of booked this place just for us", he scratched his neck nervously.

"Really? How do you do that?", I asked.

"I have my sources", he winked and dragged me to the displays.

"On my God they're so pretty", I said looking to the colorful fishes.

"They really are", he said hugging me from behind. "But not as pretty as you", he whispered to my ear.

"Oh, shut up", I said blushing and he just chuckled.

We moved to other displays and saw a bunch of dolphins swimming around. There was even one dolphin swam over to us hitting lightly to the barrier glass. I couldn't help but pressed my face against the glass. Now I officially looked like a kid. But then Sean mimicked my action making me giggled. The dolphin looked like it was laughing but then swam away from us.

"Aw, it's so cute. I wish I could swim with them", I said dreamily.

"Do you want to?", Sean asked.

"Yeah but it's impossible", I waved my hand but Sean just smirked like he had an idea.

"You don't mean that... ",

"Come on, let's go", he took my hand and sprinted.

He took me upstairs and there was a guy who looked like in charge in here.

"Hey, Nate", Sean greeted the guy.

"This is my girlfriend, Valerie and she wants to swim with the dolphins", Sean said to the Nate guy.

"Yeah, sure. I'll prepare the equipments", he said walking to a closet.

"Sean, I was just kidding", I whispered to him.

"Come on. How many times will you get to swim with dolphins?", Sean insisted.

"But it'll ruin my makeup", I pouted.

"You still look beautiful with or without makeup", he said pecking my lips making me gained my confidence.

"Alright. Here are the things you should wear", Nate showed us all the tools. Mask, scuba, tank, fins, and other tools that I didn't know the names.

Sean helped me wearing the tools because I had no idea how to put it on myself. After a few minutes, we were ready to dive in.

"Ready?", Sean asked holding my hand and I nodded.

We jumped in together and I felt the cold water hitting my face. I kept holding tight to Sean's hand, never letting it go. We found the dolphins and I suddenly felt scared. What if they thought we were threats?

But turned out the dolphins swam to us and I could hear their shrieks. I even saw Sean touch one of the dolphins bravely. We swam for a few more minutes before we came back up.

"That was so fun", I said happily after I dried my hair. My makeup was totally wiped off now and I didn't bring my makeup with me.

"Told you it was worth it", Sean said cheerfully.

"Wanna go eat?", he asked.

"I'm starving", I said rubbing my belly.

"Come on then", he said holding my hand.

We went to his car and once again, he opened the car door for me. He started the engine and drove away from the aquarium. The journey wasn't that long as Sean pulled over in front of a expensive looking restaurant.

"Sean, I looked like crap and I don't have my makeup on", I stated and he looked confused.

"So what?", he asked.

"You can't take a girl looking like this in some expensive restaurant. I mean, what will people think?", I said in one breath.

"Well,they can keep their opinions to themselves because it's my restaurant", he shrugged and stepped out of the car.

"Of course it is", I mumbled as I got out of the car.

"Mr.Winters, what can I do for you?", a butler came to us once we stepped inside the restaurant. I felt the butler's eyes examined me curiously so I looked away to avoid awkwardness.

"I need a table for two and I need privacy", Sean said pulling me at his side.

This time I met eyes with the butler and he looked surprised with Sean's request. "Of course. Follow me", he said cooly.

We followed him behind and I could sense some people looking at our direction with shock. Probably they saw me how awful I looked and thought how could I stood beside this handsome Greek God.

The butler led us to a table near the window and it was isolated from other tables. It really was private.

The butler handed us the menu and left, leaving us alone.

"Pick anything you like", Sean said.

My eyes widen at the prices. They were all expensive and the cheapest was the salad which I didn't plan to eat since I was starving like a lion.

I looked at Sean and he was staring intently at me.

"I don't know what to have", I said as I closed the menu.

He smirked. "You should get the steak. They serve the best steak in town"

"I'll have anything you're having", I surrendered.

"Steak it is then", he said and called the butler earlier.

"You own clubs, a mall, and a restaurant? What else? A hotel?", I joked after the butler left

"I do own a hotel in New York", he said sheepishly and I choked on my water.

"Woah, you're okay?", Sean said standing up then went to my side.

"Yeah. Just got in the wrong pipe", I laughed nervously.

"But seriously, you're still young and have many businesses? That's really great", I said impressed.

"Well, thanks I guess", he suddenly acted weird.

The butler came back with our steaks and I felt myself drooling. I took a bite and I couldn't help but moan in appreciation.

"It's good, right?", Sean said taking a bite. I just nodded, couldn't find words to reply. This steak was heaven.

"So, do you still live with your parents?", I asked trying to make conversations.

"No. They're in Florida. It's just me and my stepsister, Georgina. My mom married her dad when I was 12. My dad died at a car crash when I was 6", he said.

"Oh my God, I'm so sorry", I said suddenly felt guilty for asking that.

"It's OK. I don't remember much about him anyway. He was always busy with his work", he said nonchalantly.

"So, how about your parents?", he said.

"Well, my parents live  few hours away from here and we're just normal I guess. Nothing extravagant, but we're happy", I said chewing my food.

"That's good. Happiness is the most important", he said seriously.

"Yeah", I agreed.

After we finished our meal, Sean paid for the meals though I insisted I could pay my own. But being Sean, he was always win.

He took me back to the apartment and I realized that it was almost midnight. I didn't even realize that time passed so quickly.

"Thanks. I really enjoy tonight", I said after he pulled over in front of the apartment.

"I'm glad you like it", he showed his pearly whites. "So, does it mean that you'll go on a second date with me?", he wiggled his brows.

"Hmm.. I'll think about it", I teased and he scowled.

"Good night, Sean", I kissed his soft lips.

"Good night, my princess. Sleep tight", he said before I got out of the car.

Sean stayed there until he made sure I was inside the lobby. I waved at him before I stepped in the lift then he sped away. I couldn't hide my smile that night and still thought about our date till I went to sleep.
