" Sit!"

Attorney Chris ordered as they got into his apartment.

The luxurious living room of attorney Chris' apartment was the same as before with no changes, although Val couldn't be as appalled with the place as she was in the past. If anything, she never wanted to be here, never!

At the moment, her whole being was tense and covered in cold sweat, and her heart pounded hard in her head as she walked into the living room towards the sofa. Val was simply scared to death.

She had fallen into the hands of a creep without the slightest chance of finding a way out and was simply helpless and devastated. She could visualize what attorney Chris had planned for her and it wasn't pleasing in the least. If anything, Val was afraid.

Val never thought she would find herself in such a situation, never had she for once thought it was possible. But here she was, being threatened and forced against her own will to do things.

After leaving the office, attorney Chris drove them back to his apartment. He didn't have to do anything as he considered Val smart enough to realize she wasn't in the best of situations. Besides, the lady was too shaken to even react in any way.

Val had thought of ways to get herself out of this grave situation in the car. She didn't want her nudes spreading out and publicized.

She still had to be the face of her fashion brand in the future after all!

' What to do now!?' Val was perplexed and scared. She knew she had to act decisively as fast as she could before attorney Chris started making his demands.

Nonetheless, nothing came to mind. Val was too scared to even think at all.

' Bob... No! Aidan? No!... Should I just attack him as he drove? No, I'll be risking my life as well. Besides, he's stronger than I am so I'm only going to be causing myself more trouble...' Val thought in a state of panic, her head hurt as she rummaged in her thought in search of a way out.

In the end, she couldn't come up with anything that could help her out of the situation.

This made Val panic even more as she didn't know what to expect. All the thoughts she had were impossible to execute as attorney Chris' gaze was stuck on her.

Val's only choice was to play along as a victim. She planned to comply with his demands to fool him into believing she was really willing to cooperate and see if there was anything else that she could do. If worse came to worse, she planned to resort to violence.

As Val followed Attorney Chris' order to take a seat, Attorney Chris went towards the mini bar,

Right then, Val realized something,

' Here's an opportunity ' With the attorney letting his guard down, Val quickly sat, quietly opened her handbag, and picked up her phone. She pressed the volume button to decrease it while she quickly pressed the emergency button. Val didn't waste any more time as she placed the phone in her bag once again and closed it to avoid being suspected. However,

' Oh no! What if they cannot hear?' Val's eyes widened when she realized. However, there wasn't anything else she could do as she only hoped that the audio quality of the phone call wasn't muffled by the bag or at least patient enough for her to find another opportunity.

' Calm down... calm down' Val took deep breaths, she was beginning to see a way out. However, Val was still nervous and scared. One mistake and it was all over,

' How am I to calm down when this creep is right behind me, all alone in this place... Who knows what he's going to do to me? How did I even get myself into this...' Val condemned internally.

Val glanced behind her, anxious as to whether she was safe and hadn't been caught just now.

Thankfully, attorney Chris' back faced her as he picked up a bottle and checked on it.

' He's distracted, should I attack him now?' Val thought, but again this wasn't a physical fight.

Even if she managed to immobilize him now, she couldn't really stop him from leaking her nudes. Could she?

Knowing attorney Chris, he wouldn't give the nude pictures to anyone else since his profession was at jeopardy. Hence, Val guessed he was the only one who had access to the nudes.

Nonetheless, Val discarded the thought as she couldn't risk failing to hit him and knock him out in one strike.

This was a game of wits. She had to play well and avoid risks at all cost. Hearing that the attorney had finished pouring the wine glasses, Val feigned a helpless expression.

' Okay! Okay! Now that I've dialed the emergency line, I should try and get the cops here, but at the same time, he has to be doing something to me and has to be caught in the act for the police to believe anything and dig deep into finding the photos.' Val made a quick conjecture as a plan formed in her mind.

' First I'll have to get him to trust me, and make him let down his guard even more...'

" Here you go. Didn't lace it like last time. Don't want to be carrying you asleep all the way back to Seattle" Attorney Chris chuckled as he handed Val a glass of chill refreshing cocktail.

" What do you want?!" Val barked. She didn't take the glass from him.

Why would she trust his words after all he'd done?

Attorney Chris withdrew his outstretched hand and set the glass on the coffee table before taking a seat on the sofa adjacent to where Val sat. He took a sip of his drink and stared at the bottom of the bottle for a while before facing Val to say,

" I already tried this the normal way... As I said, things shouldn't have had be this way if you'd just accepted my proposal back then." Attorney Chris' eyes creased and it wasn't until now that Val realized that he was a complete psychopath.

He'd already taken those pictures of hers to blackmail her before asking her out. The latter part of the process was only a way to make her consent without her knowing. That way, he could defend himself that he only had the pictures from them being intimate and exploring as a couple.

No wonder he had been able to evade being apprehended all these while. With his good looks, influence and wealth, attorney Chris had various means to vindicate himself even if he were ever ti be caught.

Val was glad she hadn't acted impulsively earlier and had learned this fact. Now she knew to tread carefully.

" What's your aim. You don't even have to do all of this!?" Val exclaimed. Attorney Chris was quite good looking, he could very well get girls as much as he wanted.

Val didn't think he was doing this for a reason as petty as trying to have his way with her. He sure must have gotten ladies prettier than Val to bed often than usual. So why?

" Let's just say I have a knack for exploiting people." Attorney Chris chortled. " Call it whatever you like, but I kinda have a kink for mature married ladies like you." He stated in a hushed tone as he glanced Val up and down while.lickimg his lips deliciously.

Val felt naked once again, and tiny itches crawled up her skin as she experienced an indescribably weird feeling at the attorney's gaze.

However, she knew she had to take this chance to utilize her plan.

" Haah! See, I- I guess we're both adults. A-and we can compromise. I just don't want my nudes leaking, I'm willing to cooperate if you are " Val mustered the courage to say, though her voice shook as she was still nervous.

Although it was only words of the mouth, Val hated that she was selling herself cheap to a creep as such. However, she had to do what she had to do, and use what attorney Chris wanted as a levy against him.

" ohh?" Attorney Chris made a face of surprise. He was expecting that she'd try to fight her way through this and be her usual stubborn self. She wasn't even asking that he hand over the nudes to her. Meaning she understands the concept of blackmail.

" I didn't know you had this subservient side to you Ms Valerie" He chuckled as he said. This submitting side of Val was something new to him.

Attorney Chris took another sip of his drink as he watched Val with an amused smile on his face. He seemed to be enjoying the fact that he'd made Val helpless and submissive, other than anything.

" I-I don't think I have a choice now, do I?" Val stopped averting her gaze and looked straight into his eyes to convey seriousness.

Val didn't ask that he give her the nudes and deleted every other source he had with him because there was no way to ascertain that the nudes he'd give her in such a case were all he had with him. Besides, Val had seen and heard different blackmails before. She knew that the threats never stopped coming until the Blackmailer got tired of his victim.

Judging by Attorney Chris' reaction just now, Val knew she'd made an impression on him. After all, she was basically saying she would cooperate with him for as long as he wanted, so long he didn't leak the nudes. In essence, Val was offering herself until the attorney got tired of her.

For someone who had a kink for Val, hearing her say this was without doubt going to spark something in him.

' What if he gets aroused and tries to do something to me now?' Val's heart dropped. She had the thought to scare the attorney with STD if this happens, but she knew she'd only be digging her own grave. What if the freak decided he would do some freaky shit to her instead?

" Hahaha!" Attorney Chris kicked his head back and laughed. Fortunately, he only had a good laugh and didn't do anything more.

" Can I call my driver and tell him to not pick me up tonight? He's been ringing my phone for a while now and you don't want him to call Bob telling him I'm missing..." Sensing that the attorney had let his guard down once again, Val made up an excuse to bring out her phone. However, seeing the frown on his face, she quickly added,

" Don't get me wrong, I just don't want things to rouse to the point that my personal stuffs would go viral. I really have a lot to lose here..." Val stated with swift persuasion, stuttering as she spoke to make her plan seem like she really was being cooperative.

" Hmmm... Of course." Attorney Chris frown relaxed into a kind smile as he nodded in affirmation to Val's request after a while. He tipped his head up as he so drank a sizable amount of his drink.

Val was overwhelmed that he would agree to her words that she was even stunned for a bit.

" O-okay" she quickly grabbed her phone from her bag. Seeing that the emergency line was still on call, Val visibly sighed in relief. She couldn't be any more grateful.

She scrolled through her contacts and dialed Aidan's number and quickly connected a three-way call with the emergency number. Thankfully, the dial tone didn't sound or she might have been exposed. She discreetly increased the volume a little to avoid being suspected.

As the call rang through, Val's heart pounded anxiously. This was the moment that would determine everything.

' If I play my cards right. I can get myself out of this mess!' Vals heart was at unrest still.

" Put it on speaker phone call though..." Attorney Chris smirked as he said, the gaze on his face made Val think that he knew exactly what she was up to.

Val froze and she shot a quick gaze at Attorney Chris as the phone in her hand rang.

" You heard me. Or..?" Attorney Chris picked his phone and shook it in the air, as if to tell her he still had the pictures and could leak it any moment if she wouldn't do as he says.

" O-okay" Val nodded shortly and swallowed hard as she put the phone call on speaker.

She regretted having done this as now, she would be in an even bigger trouble if anything goes wrong.
