Arhaan's P.O.V.

I was so lost in my thought that I didn't get to know when she opened her eyes.

Giving my thought a break when I looked at her, she was already staring at me still keeping her head on my shoulder.

I don't know how long we remained like that but then hearing Esha as she got near us while uttering, "Aunty?", Khushi moved away from me. We were avoiding each other's gaze.

Then I saw Api entering the poolside with Esha. Seeing them, I stood up as api uttered, "Arhaan, Muhib is calling you in study."

I nodded at api and then glancing at Khushi, I forwarded towards the study. After texting something to my P.A., I entered the study.

Vai was waiting for me as he spoke up seeing me, "Arhaan, this time even if Khushi doesn't agree with us, we will do whatever we feel like doing. And I think we should just leave them with nothing."

Interrupting Vai, I spoke up then, "No, vai. This way it won't be fun. I will do business with them."

When Vai kept all silent, I spoke up, "Vai, I know you consider Khushi as your sister and you want to make them pay for hurting her as well but leave it on me for now. I want to do it my way."

Vai spoke up with a little bit of smile, "Okay. Go for it. Just remember, I am right beside you. You are not alone."

I smilingly nodded at him and uttered, "I know."

In London

When Preety was almost done with her classes, she texted Mahin.

"I will be done in 30 minutes, Vai."

A few minutes later Mahin texted her back.

"I will be there, sister."

Reading the text, she put the phone back in her bag and concentrated on her class.

Whereas Mahin then called Abeer. As Abeer answered the call, he spoke up being already known to Abeer's always making late habit, "Where are you? Reach the college restaurant in sharp 20 minutes. Don't you dare to be late Abeer this time."

But to his utter surprise, Abeer spoke up, "I am already at the college gate, Mahin."

Getting somewhat confused Mahin spoke up, "Really! But why are you there? And by the way what are you doing there?"

Abeer kept thinking "telling Mahin about my business will be as good as zero rather may possible he also start trying to keep my love away from me also."

And finally told to himself "No need to tell him Abeer."

When Abeer kept silent for a while, Mahin again spoke up, "Abeer, I am asking you something. What are you doing there?"

"What else! You told me to meet you at the college restaurant. That's why I came." Abeer knew, he couldn't fool Mahin with this and making his guess true,

Mahin spoke up, "Yes, I told you but I didn't tell you the time when to meet. And you are already there. Isn't it a bit of strange, dear? Anyways, be there. I am on my way. I will be there by 20 minutes."

Reaching the college gate, Mahin found Abeer like really there. He was looking at the entrance as if he was searching someone. Getting near him, Mahin spoke up, "Who are you searching like this?" only to get Abeer all startled.

Abeer tried to ignore the matter as he uttered, "No one. Let's go. Grab a table first."

As he uttered this, Mahin gave him a suspicious look but avoiding his gaze, Abeer forwarded towards the restaurant.

Taking a table, Abeer and Mahin got seated. But when Mahin again spoke up, "Abeer, you didn't tell me yet.", Abeer spoke up making a frustrated face, "Will you stop it now? Why are you being detective with me?"

Mahin was about to utter something but his phone rang off and seeing the caller ID, he received that immediately.

Taking that chance Abeer spoke up, "I will be right back" and got out of the restaurant to find his girl.

On the other hand getting done with the classes, Preety got out of the college. While dialing Mahin's number, she forwarded towards the restaurant only to get stopped midway as she saw Abeer standing just outside the entrance of the restaurant.

Mahin's number was also busy. Preety couldn't reach him and from the expression on Abeer's face, she could easily understand, he was looking for her.

She was being confused what to do. When she felt, Abeer's eye almost fell on her, she turned back and getting a taxi, she forwarded towards her home.

On her way she texted Mahin.

"Vai, I am going home. Your number was busy and that guy was right there. I couldn't make it to go the restaurant in front of him. Let's meet some other time."

Finishing with his call when Mahin was thinking, "Where did this Abeer go and why didn't Preety come in yet? It's past 30 minutes already." right then his phone beeped indicating the arrival of a new message.

Reading the text, Mahin kept thinking, “What is actually going on!”

Khushi's P.O.V.

At poolside I didn’t know what happened to me but I rested my head on Arhaan's shoulder and closed my eyes.

Opening my eyes after some moments, I looked at his face as I kept thinking, "Till now I was all by myself. After Ammi, I had none by my side to lean on and I kept accepting and abandoning myself all the while. Then you entered my life and everything got changed.

I had nothing to lose before so I wasn't afraid also but now I am getting afraid what if I happened to lose you at some point! What would I do then!"

I was so lost in my thought that I didn't notice Arhaan staring at me. When I heard Esha calling my name, I got all startled and then I realised, I was still leaning on Arhaan and staring at him.

I moved back from him immediately and kept looking everywhere except his eyes.

Getting near as Api said Vai was asking for Arhaan, Arhaan forwarded to meet him and Api sat by my side.

Touching the right side of my cheek, she uttered, "Khushi, still paining dear?"

I kept shaking my head with a little bit of smile and then caressing my hair, Api spoke up, "Why did you go there alone? You shouldn't have dear. Don't ever be this much careless, okay?"

I nodded and api smiled a little. We two kept talking on random stuffs whereas Esha kept jumping around and coming to us with her no ending questions every minutes.

Arhaan got back to our room after a while and seeing him, Api got up as she uttered, "Okay, you take rest. I am going to prepare the dinner."

I tried to speak up, "I will help" but api got ordering then, "No. You take rest."

Finding nothing else to do, I nodded at her and Api left our room taking Esha with her.

Remembering the poolside incident, I kept avoiding Arhaan's gaze.

"You rest. I have some work." saying this, Arhaan sat with his laptop. As Arhaan kept working on his laptop, I kept staring at him for a while.

I came back to the reality when Arhaan spoke up, "Khushi, who manages the orphanage now?"

Answering him, "Sadiya Aunty.", I just left the room as I spoke up again, "I will be with Api."

Seeing me, Api spoke up, "Khushi, didn't I tell you to rest? What are you doing here then?"

"I was getting bored api." as I uttered this, Api spoke up with a little bit of smile, "Okay. Come help me then."

While doing kitchen stuffs, I kept thinking, "Arhaan will help me. He won't let those kids to be homeless, right?" only to get shocked as api spoke up as if she heard me, "Don't worry dear. Everything will get solved. You just keep faith."

Hearing api, I smiled a little and then I nodded at her.

After dinner I got back to my room and after saying my prayer, I got on the bed. Arhaan wasn't back to room yet. May be he was with Vai and uncle.

While waiting for him, at some point, I fell asleep.

The next day, I wasn't feeling like going to college. When I said that, everyone in the house got worried at first and started checking whether I have gotten fever or something.

Though I kept telling I was alright but they didn't pay heed to it. When the thermometer also showed I was pretty normal, they calmed down.

Vai and Arhaan left for office and I remained in the house with uncle and api.

Sitting in the living room, I kept gossiping with them. After a while when Api got up saying, "It's quite late. I am going to wake Esha up."

Remembering something, I also got up as I spoke up, "I need to go to the orphanage."

When Api and uncle nodded at me, I forwarded towards upstairs to get ready. Uncle tried to accompany me but I politely refused.

Convincing them somehow, I forwarded towards the orphanage without taking car with me.

On my way to the orphanage, I bought some chocolates for the kids. When I entered there, Sadiya Aunty was talking to Vai who was already there with some people.

As I got near them, I heard vai uttering, "I gave you some time to vacant my place quietly and peacefully. But I see, you are trying to make a fuss over it. So no more mercy on you people. If you don't leave this place in the next two days then we will just throw you out of here along with the kids. You got that?"

Before Aunty could say something, I got there and stood in front of her and uttered sternly, "No one is going to leave this place and this place is not for sale. Mind that"

Vai got uttering sarcastically then, "You kept uttering that to yourself but it isn't going to make any difference."

Right then we heard a cold and stern voice, "But I think it's going to make a huge difference if I say so too..."

Hearing the voice, I understood immediately who was it and I was right. Arhaan was standing there. After glancing at me, he got near us and glaring at vai, he again spoke up emphasising on his every single word, "THIS PLACE IS NOT FOR SALE."
