Arhaan's P.O.V.

Khushi didn’t want to go to college today. I knew what was bothering her. But this time I didn’t want to satisfy her with words only.

That’s why I didn’t say to her anything and forwarded towards office. Arriving the office, the first thing did was asking my P.A. to get to my cabin.

When he entered my cabin empty handed, I uttered glaring at him, "I asked for some information."

Pointing at a file on the table in front of me, he spoke up fearfully, "I have collected it, Sir. It's right there in that file."

I took that file in hand as I uttered, "You can leave."

He turned to leave but got stopped as he uttered, "Sir, I heard Mr. Anas is leaving this country and shifting his business to abroad."

Hearing him, I got shocked at first and then a smile crept on my lips and I spoke up, "Okay. You go."

He left my cabin and I called Mr. Anas.

He recognised me immediately when I uttered my name. I asked for some of his time. When he agreed, I forwarded to meet him.

The meeting went smoothly. After that I forwarded towards the orphanage. Before entering there, remembering something, I called Khushi's father.

After talking to him, I entered the orphanage.

Entering there, I saw Khushi talking to Kowshik. And from the expression on Khushi's face, it was clear Kowshik was saying something likewise of him.

Getting near, I got to hear them and spoke up sternly, "But I think it will make a huge difference if I say so too.."

When they turned to me, I got there with a stern face and spoke up again glaring at Kowshik, "This place is not for sale."

Kowshik was about to utter something but interrupting him, I spoke up turning to Khushi, "You two carry on."

Nodding at me, Khushi and Aunty left from there and I again turned to Kowshik as he spoke up, "Arhaan, what are you doing here?"

I got uttering then with a damn serious face, "What do you think? I clearly warned you that night. But looks like you didn't get me clear and dared to do something you shouldn't have. You took me too lightly, Kowshik."

Right then his phone rang off and glancing at the caller ID, he immediately answered the call.

He seemed to try to utter something but may be got cut off by the person from the other side of the phone call.

I knew very well who was it on the other side.

Hearing him, Kowshik just uttered, "What!" getting all shocked and looked at me and all I just kept standing with a smirk and uttered then, "Let's do some business, Kowshik if you like."

Kowshik left the place without uttering anything and I smilingly forwarded towards Khushi.

She was with the kids, giving them chocolates or something.

Seeing me, she came forward and uttered, "What did he say? Did he agree to not to sell this Orphanage?"

That aunty also got near me and both of them were giving me a hopeful look. With a smile, I spoke up, "As I said earlier, 'this place is not for sale.' So don't worry. It doesn't matter whether he agree. He won't be able to sell it anyway."

All of a sudden Khushi hugged me being all excited as she uttered likewise, "Thank you. Thank you, Arhaan."

I got startled with the sudden incident. And getting hold of myself when I was about to hug her back, she let go the hold of me immediately and kept avoiding my gaze.

Glancing at Khushi, I turned to that aunty and spoke up, "You must be Sadiya Aunty."

When she nodded, I got uttering, "I am Arhaan, Arhaan Mahmud, Khushi's husband. Aunty, you don't have to worry about this Orphanage anymore. It's my responsibility. If you have any problem, just give me a call. And besides Khushi will be here with you. So don't worry."

Then I turned to Khushi as I spoke up, "Should I drop you home now?"

Khushi kept shaking her head and spoke up, "I want to be here sometime more."

She was still avoiding my gaze. In front of Aunty I couldn't get to say something to her and nodding at her, I spoke up, "Okay then. Be careful on your way back home. I need to get back to office now."

Arriving the office, I saw Khushi's father and brother were in the waiting room. I entered my cabin and my PA came to me.

When I looked at him, he spoke up with a little bit of smile, "Sir, its been a while they have been waiting for you."

Smiling back at my PA, I replied, "Let them be. I don't have the time to talk to them now. Get ready for the meeting.”

Uttering, “Okay, Sir.”, he left my cabin and I kept thinking, “To them business means a lot, right? Now let’s see how long they can endure and run their business.”

Zahir Malik's P.O.V.

Getting office, I got busy with my work. I was supposed to have a meeting later and I was preparing for that.

Then my PA entered my cabin after knocking and told me something, I was expecting the least to hear. Mr. Anas sold the share of my company that he was holding and Arhaan bought that.

Hearing this, I got shocked and called Mr. Anas immediately. Hearing him, I understood Arhaan handled him so diplomatically and started thinking what to do now. Already the big project we started, Muhib got away from that midway and I couldn't dare to get him back or make him compensate.

From handling the two thirds of the project, my company was already having difficulties and now Mr. Anas!

He already told me about his plan about shifting to abroad but as I was in no position to buy that share right now, I somehow managed him to keep that shares to him for now.

So that I could buy it in future.

But why this Arhaan got in between! Didn't he tell us that night, he wouldn't get in our way! Then what happened?

Right then my phone rang off and it was Arhaan. I answered the call and he spoke up, "I warned you that night but as you are calling for it, I am all in. Come to my office and meet me within half an hour if don't want to... You know it, right? And yes, don't come alone. Bring your pathetic son too.”

Before I could say something, he cut off the line. I kept thinking what was happening and then PA entered my cabin again.

Seeing his face, I could easily tell it's nothing but another disaster.

And making my worst imagination come true, he uttered, “Sir, Arhaan stopped all of our on going projects even the biggest one."

Being all clueless and frustrated, I called Kowshik. Telling him all this, I called him to come to my office urgently.

Getting into my cabin, Kowshik spoke up while panting a little, "How come all these happened?"

Without bothering to answer his question, I asked him, "Tell me one thing. Did you do anything? Why all of a sudden Arhaan would buy our shares?"

Kowshik spoke up after keeping silent for some moments, "I did nothing like that."

I could easily tell that he was lying. But giving that thought a break, I spoke up, "Let's go. We need to meet Arhaan first."

When we reached Arhaan's office, he wasn't there. But we kept waiting for him. I saw him entering his cabin after almost an hour but we were told to wait and Arhaan was busy.

It was almost 2 hours and we were still waiting. I was getting impatient while being angry. Then I asked Kowshik again, "Tell me the truth. What did you do?"

"Actually, Khushi came to me to talk about the orphanage. She was claiming that."

I was hearing him with a frowning face and when he stopped, I impatiently uttered, "And then what did you do?"

He spoke up in an obvious tone, "What else! I had to remind Khushi her place. I slapped her tight." and hearing his last sentence, I got my eyes widen.

Being all frustrated, I uttered, "What! Have you gone mad? Didn't you see them that night? Hasn’t something gotten into your mind seeing their behaviour? It's obvious they would do anything if we dare to bother Khushi again."

I was yelling at Kowshik and he kept standing with a face like he cared the least.

My business, my company all was on the edge of getting doomed and here Kowshik was being like this which just got me all worked up.

But before I blurted out again, Arhaan's P.A. entered the waiting room and spoke up, "Sir is calling you. Come first."

The behavior of his PA was clearly telling us about our position.

But without bothering to say anything to him, we entered Arhaan's cabin following him.

Whatever Arhaan uttered then, I understood we had been getting cornered and soon the condition of my company would be as good as dead.

I was puzzled what to do when Arhaan uttered again making a disgusted face, “Now get lost from here.”

Arhaan's P.O.V.

Khushi's father and brother entered my cabin following my P.A. and when I nodded at him, he left my cabin.

I turned to them as Kowshik tried to utter, "Look, Arhaan" and interrupting him in between, I spoke up in a cold tone while glaring at them, "It's Mr. Mahmud for you two." only to get them totally silent.

Then I uttered again, "As you already have known, I am the major shareholder of Malik Industries now. So from now get my approval for every single project you start."

Khushi's father spoke up then, "But Arhaan.. I mean Mr. Mahmud one of our current projects is very important to us. We have invested a lot in it. If it got stopped midway then the company will be.."

I helped him completing his line, "Doomed.." with a smirk on my face only to get them looking at me being all shocked.....
