Khushi's P.O.V.

After lunch I got back to the room immediately as the time for prayer was not long enough. When I was done with my prayer, my phone rang off.

Seeing the caller ID, I answered the call immediately and spoke up, "Preety, I am sorry. But you please don't be like this."

Preety kept silent for a moment. When I again uttered her name being anguished, "Preety?", she replied in lower tone, "How are you?"

I tried to utter, "I am fine. People here.", she spoke up in between interrupting me, "Khushi! Stop this drama and tell me the truth. How's everything going there?"

I was thinking what to tell her when she asked me again, "Tell me about Arhaan. How is he with you?"

I got totally silent at that and she uttered again, "I knew it. But Khushi you know what this time he is not at fault fully. You made yourself get to this point."

I spoke up then in lower tone, "I know that Preety. But what else would I do then? I just didn't want to."

Preety didn't let me complete and spoke up in between, "I know it all what you wanted. But think it keeping yourself in the shoes of Arhaan. What he has done to get this!"

When I still kept silent, she spoke up, "Talk to him. Now he has the right to know it all why you did this. If he wants to continue this relationship properly knowing the truth then it's okay. And if that's not the case, then you shouldn't be in his life. You should free him as well as yourself from this relationship."

"You are right Preety. I have to talk to him. I know it's not going to be easy to talk to Arhaan but I will." I said to Preety confidently but it was more like uttering to myself.

Hearing me, Preety spoke up, "That's like my girl." which made me smile but right then Arhaan entered the room. I cut off the phone call immediately and tried to talk to him.

Likewise he ignored me. But mustering up some courage, I stood in front of him and uttered, "I need to talk to you right now." only to get a glaring look from him.

When I still didn't get away from his way, he uttered coldly, "Khushi, I am getting late. Don't provoke me to make your life hell now. Just get lost."

"I will go from your life forever if you want so but listen to me for the last time." I spoke up looking at him.

"No. I don't want you to go away from my life. Stay with me so that I can rectify my mistake of believing you. You cannot get away so easily after doing all this to me." He uttered coldly and there was nothing but hatred in his eyes for me.

I again uttered with teary eyes, "Arhaan, please listen to me for once for all. I didn't do this intentionally. I didn't have any option left then."

But before he could say something, Esha entered the room and spoke up, "Aunty?"

I got all startled at that but in no moment wiping my eyes, I turned to her and spoke up, "Yes, sweety. Why aren't you sleeping?"

"I will sleep with you. You tell me a story and then I will sleep. Okay?" while saying this, Esha got near me and Arhaan uttered putting on a smile, "Go. Put her to sleep." and started packing his bag.

Seeing that, Esha spoke up, "Mama, where are you going?"

While packing his bag, Arhaan turned to her and spoke up smilingly, "I have some work sweetie. I have to go out of town. You want me to bring something for you?"

"Yes. Two chocolates. One for me and one for aunty. Okay?" Esha answered cutely only to make Arhaan giving me a glaring look as he uttered, "Okay." and then turned to Esha and spoke up, "You should sleep now."

Esha nodded at him and uttered, "Okay." and then she got on the bed jumping. I was just looking at her and she spoke up, "Aunty, come. Tell me a story."

Arhaan left the room taking his bag and I put Esha to sleep.

Then I got near my luggage and kept looking at it and uttered under my breath, "Should I just leave this place silently without bothering to tell him anything?"

Right then I heard Areesha Api uttering my name, "Khushi?"

I turned to her and she spoke up, "You still didn't unpack your things? Okay. Do it now. I am also giving you a hand."

Saying this, Api got near my luggage and I spoke up being all confused what to do, "Api?"

She maybe understood something from my look as she spoke up, "What is it, Khushi? You want to tell me something?"

I kept staring at her for a moment and then nodded at that after deciding to tell her everything.

"Khushi, what is it dear? Is there any problem?" she spoke up with a concerned tone. I turned to Esha who was sleeping peacefully and then turned to Api.

Api held my hand and took me out of the room. She made me sit on the chair by the poolside and took a seat in front of me.

Then she spoke up again, "Now tell me. What is it?"

I spoke up in lower tone, "Api, you know how this marriage happened. That day Arhaan just helped me out of humanity. And my family turned that"

Api didn't let me complete and spoke up, "Wait a moment. Khushi, the marriage proposal was brought by me not your family. And I didn't do that just thinking of that incident. I wanted you to become the life partner of Arhaan even before that. You just tell me one thing, is Arhaan not good with you?"

I tried to speak up again, "No api. It's not that but" only to get cut off again as she spoke up, "Khushi, Vai was always against marriage. He just doesn't believe in love or anything like this. There was no possible way for him to get married normally. So for getting him married maybe Almighty made that incident to happen. Maybe it was the destiny of you two to get crossed like this."

I got silent hearing Api and she continued, "Khushi, Arhaan is a good guy. I am not saying this just for saying as he is my brother but he really is. Please don't think otherwise but try to make this relationship work and successful. I know you can do it. And I will always be with you. Just don't give up, dear. Please?"

Seeing Api's pleading look, I didn't bring myself to utter anything then.

She again spoke up then, "Let's go and unpack your things now."

Api again took me inside the room while holding my hand and we kept my things accordingly to the closet and the dressing table. Api was all excited and happy. Seeing her like that, I also smiled a little.

Arhaan's P.O.V.

.

The deal got signed and it was a great success in my business. I was going back to my place happily but when the thought of Khushi came to my mind, my mood got changed.

Then I remembered her saying that she would leave from my life forever. I uttered under my breath, "If she did that already, it would be the best thing. I won't have to face her anymore."

Just the thought of she won't be around made me feel over the moon.

But as soon as I entered the house, I had to get back to earth as she was there with my family sitting in the living room and gossiping happily.

But seeing Api and Esha's happy face, I also smiled and uttered, "I am home."

Esha came running to me and taking her in my arms, I got near them. Seeing me, Khushi's smile faded away.

Esha was whispering in my ear, "Mama, my chocolates?"

Hearing her, I smiled and sat in the living room beside api.

Api was about to say something but got stopped as she saw me giving Esha a packet.

Api understood what it was and she uttered, "Eshaa!" but Esha got near Khushi and while holding her hand, she spoke up, "Aunty, let's go from here."

Khushi also got up and left with her and I was confused at Api's voice as she spoke up, "Khushi, you too!"

Uncle smiled at that and uttered, "Areesha, let them be dear."

By that time Esha and Khushi were gone from there.

"Abbu, before it was Arhaan and Muhib and now Khushi also sides with Esha in everything!" Api spoke up making a face and uncle and me laughed out at that.

After letting out a sigh, api turned to me and spoke up, "How's your meeting?"

"I got the deal Api." I uttered happily and Api spoke up being all excited, "That's great. Let's hold a party then for your success."

It was totally okay with me but when Api uttered, "It will also be Khushi's first party here. It will be so much of fun.", I got utterly irritated.

I didn't just want her around me as her presence was alone enough to piss me off and it's my party.

I uttered under my breath, "She shouldn't be at my party and she won't be there." and a smile crept on my lips.

The smile got faded away when I found Api giving me a shocking look and I kept thinking whether I was uttering loud enough to get her hear me....
