Mikaeel's pov

After leaving my house I came directly to my penthouse with Aurin. That house has become hell for Aurin and I can't let her stay there. It's not her fault that she isn't getting pregnant. It's not her fault that she can't be a mother.

I am thinking of other ways to have kids. But, who is going to make my mother understand everything? Sometimes she just reacts unnecessarily. I told her a lot of times to not taunt Aurin about this matter but she never listen.

Coming out of the washroom I didn't find Aurin on the bed. When I looked around I found her standing on the balcony. Seeing her long black hair flowing in the cool breeze a smile formed on my lips. Getting close to her I circled my hands around her petite waist and buried my head in the crook of her neck. I inhaled her fragrance that always makes me crazy.

" Wifey, I am sorry from Ammi's side. Don't take her words into your heart," I said kissing her nape.

She replied sighing," You should have chosen Maryam. She is beautiful, loves you truly and is also the mother of your daughter."

Turning her towards me I found her gloomy face and understood instantly why she was talking like that. Her eyes were already glossy and I can feel the pain in her eyes.

" But, I don't love her. That child means nothing to me. Why are you taking Ammi's words seriously? Did I ever taunt you for children? No. Right? Then, why are you bringing Maryam again?" I asked sounding a little bit annoyed.

She replied going a little bit away from me," Your mom didn't say anything wrong. I am barren. She is right. I can't give you anything. You should think about Maryam again. It's not late yet."

" Enough, Aurin. How can you tell me to go back to Maryam? Does a child mean everything to a relationship? What about our feelings? What about the love & affection we have for each other? Maryam is my past. Past is meant to be forgotten. Do you understand?" I shouted at her so loudly that she flinched backwards.

Lowering her head, she started crying silently which made me guilty. No matter what I shouldn't have shouted at her like that. She is already vulnerable and I shouldn't make her situation worse.

" Wifey, listen to me," I said pulling her into my embrace.

Wiping the tears away from her eyes I said softly," You mean everything to me. I don't need kids. I need you. Your love. I need your smile. I need your support. I need you beside me not as a baby-making machine but as a supportive spouse. I love you."

" I love you too, Mikaeel. It's just I wanted to see our family growing. I wanted to see our kids growing. I wanted to be the best mother to our children. I wante..........." She couldn't continue saying anymore and burst into tears.

Holding her shoulder I told her," Babe, listen to me."

" I am just shell in the name of woman," she said and it stabbed right into my chest.

Tightening the hold around her I told her," We are going to America."

She looked at me questioningly and I said further," It's hard to find a surrogate here. We are going to America to opt for surrogacy. I can't see you crying like that. The doctor told me that we can have a baby through surrogacy."

" Are you sure, Mikaeel?" She asked with glossy eyes.

Kissing her forehead I answered," I can't see you depressed like that. We will have our baby soon. Don't worry."

Author's pov

" How is this cot?" Aurin said pointing her finger at a baby cot.

Mikaeel replied," Umm......as you say. It's nice."

" How about this dress? Our daughter will look like a princess in this," Mikaeel asked showing a red colour baby frock to Aurin.

Aurin approved and after that, they became busy buying clothes, toys and other necessary items for the baby. They were looking so excited and happy while buying all these. Why won't they? After all, they are going to be the parents of a baby girl.

It's been 7 months since Mikaeel & Aurin are living in America. After coming to America they contacted a surrogacy clinic and everything went very smoothly. They found a surrogate mother for their child. Just in a first attempt, they conceived and after a few months, they got to know that they are going to be parents. Their happiness knew no bounds when they came to know that they are going to have a baby girl.

Though they were happy, Aurin was upset about one thing she couldn't conceive naturally. She wanted to hold her baby in her womb and feel the beautiful feelings of being a mother but Alas!! Still, she is happy that at least she will have a baby. She is glad that the Almighty is going to bless them with a baby girl.

" Mikaeel, I think we bought everything. Try to remember. Is there anything left to buy?" Aurin asked seriously.

Mikaeel whispered in her ear seductively," Would you buy everything for the baby? What about the baby's mother? I just saw a sexy bikini set."

" Always horny!!" Aurin let out rolling her eyes and Mikaeel laughed loudly.

Reaching their house Aurin was unpacking the baby stuff excitedly. Her face was shining and an adorable smile adorned her face when she took out some baby girl clothing. The dresses are small and so cute. Aurin can't wait to have her baby girl in her arms. She can't wait to shower her baby girl with so much love & affection.

" Mumma is excited to meet you," Aurin whispered smiling while holding a cute hair clip.

Aurin was busy unpacking the baby stuff while Mikaeel was staring at her with admiration. He was standing at the door and smiling silently looking at Aurin's happy face. He felt a soothing sensation inside his chest seeing the adorable smile on Aurin's face. He is happy to see the smile on her face. After a long time, he is seeing her so much happy.

" Huh....... I am going to be forgotten," Mikaeel said loudly entering the room.

Getting close to Aurin he laid down on the bed placing his head in her lap. Taking one of her hands he entangled his fingers with hers and looked into her eyes.

" Why? I am not losing my memory," Aurin answered rolling her eyes.

Mikaeel whined like a child," Your love is going to be divided."

" So what? You don't want me to roam around the house holding you in my arms, do you?" Aurin joked nodding her head.

Hugging her waist tightly Mikaeel asked seriously," Are you happy with me, wifey?"

" What if I say no. What will you do?" Aurin replied.

Mikaeel said rolling his eyes," Then, I will not ask either why aren't you happy. What more I should do to make you happy?"

" Love me more," Aurin replied ruffling his hair.

After that Aurin started giggling non-stop because of Mikaeel's tickling all over her belly.

" Hey, stop......." Aurin let out wiggling on the bed while Mikaeel was busy teasing her.

They were busy giggling and teasing each other when a phone call interrupted them. At first, Mikaeel didn't want to receive the call but Aurin told him to receive it. It can be an emergency call. Mikaeel noticed the number and became confused. It was from the surrogate mother's husband.

" Sarah's husband is calling," Mikaeel said sounding confused.

Aurin replied frowning her brows," Receive it. I think he is calling for money."

Mikaeel received the call and a few seconds later the phone fall from his hand. He became mute and even forget to breathe for a few seconds. Sweat beads started forming on his forehead and his blood turned cold. Aurin panicked after seeing Mikaeel's expression.

" What happened?" Aurin asked shaking him slightly.

Mikaeel answered with his trembling voice," Sarah........Sarah.........had......an....accident. She is no more."

Aurin heard but didn't believe in him. She started going backwards while shaking her head vigorously. Her whole body started trembling and tears continued to flow down her cheeks automatically.

" You are lying," Aurin screamed at the top of her lungs.

A drop of tear left Mikaeel's eyes and Aurin screamed crying," My Baby................."
