Chapter 66: Chapter 66

I was smiling deep inside the whole time that I was eating the breakfast he ordered for me. I was at ease knowing that he did look for me last night. I have also decided that I would definitely talk to him as planned last night. This time, I know that I am ready to hear everything from the very beginning. I know that I might be a soft-hearted person but that's just who I am. I like giving people chances and letting them prove themselves to me.

"I'm full," I said when I was done eating. The foods were delicious but I just don't have the appetite for them. It might be a result of my drinking episode last night.

"You didn't even eat all of this," Wade said after looking at my leftovers. He didn't eat with me because he said that he already had coffee downstairs while waiting for my breakfast. He was so thoughtful that he also brought some medicines for my terrible headache. I remembered what I heard last night; I didn't know it was just my imagination or if he really said it. He wanted me to see his efforts and that he only loves me alone. I can't ask him that; that would be awkward if ever he denies that and I would have no face to face him again.

"You still have to do shots today, right?" He said.

I nodded. "Yeah, you're right," I said lazily.

"Do you want to skip it?" He said. "I mean, I know you feel tired and all."

As tempting as it sounded; I can't do it. This is a project and they expect me to do my part. I just can't do that to them.

"You know I can't do that, right?" I said. "I would breach my contract if I do that. Do you want me to get sued?"

"Do you think I would allow that to happen?" He said as he sat beside me on the bed.

"Oh, I forgot you're the mighty CEO billionaire," I said with a sarcastic smile.

"I happen to know the CEO of the brand you are modeling for," He said. "I could just give him a call and then you're good to go. It's that simple."

"That is tempting," I said as I looked at him straight in the eye. "But disappointing, I have to be professional here. I can't just let them down by leaving when I'm not yet done with the job. I can't do that even if I just want to lay here all day."

"I just thought you might want to rest too," He said with a raised brow. "Or have a date with me."

"What?" I said.

"I said; we could have a date tonight." He said.

"Are you asking me out, Mr. CEO?" I said.

"Is that how it sounded?" He said as he put his hand on his chin as if he was thinking of something so deep. "Well, alright, I would like us to have a yacht date today wherein we can talk to each other without disturbances."

"A yacht date?" I said.

"Yes, why?" He said. "Don't you like the idea? We could change it if you want; I really just want us to talk."

I was about to respond to him when we heard knocks on the door. Who could that be? I looked at the time and it was past twelve in the afternoon.

"I'll get it," He said and stood up. I have a feeling that whoever was knocking on the door was looking for me since I am the one who has work to do here.

The door of our room couldn't be seen from our beds. It has a division which gives us a little bit of privacy. I tried peeking but I couldn't see who was on the door unless I get up. I got out of bed and took my robe before I went to see who was on the door. It was Dulce! Her eyes lightened up when she saw me. She even looked like she has seen a ghost.

"Hi," I said and stood beside Wade at the door.

"Good morning Miss Camierre," She said.

"It's Mrs. Harris," Wade said and I slapped him slightly. Dulce cleared her throat and handed me a piece of paper.

"Mrs. H-Harris, hi," Dulce said. "I-I am just here to give you the schedule for later."

"Oh thanks, Dulce," I said. "I'll make sure to follow this."

"Alright, I better get going," She said as she nodded. "I don't want to intrude too much on your private time. Excuse me,"

I nodded and smiled as I waved at her. She walked to the elevator and I closed the door.

"What happened to her?" I said. "She looked like she saw a ghost or something. Wait, what did you tell her? Why was she acting strange?"

"I don't know," He said. "Maybe she just got stunned with my sparkling abs."

"S-sparkling what?" I said. "Sparkling abs?"

"Yes; why don't you agree with me? You have proven that what I'm saying is true, you know." He said. "You've seen it all; you have even touched every part of it-"

"Stop," I said. I only laughed as I walked to the bathroom door. I needed to take a bath and start preparing for the shoot.

"Hey Cam," He said.

"What?" I said.

"What about what I said earlier?" He said and raised his brow.

"What about it?" I said with furrowed brows. Did I forget about something?

"You know, the one I asked you," He said and shifted uncomfortably on his feet.

"What?" I said as I tried to remember what he said but I really can't. I saw his face got annoyed and there I remembered what he said. I think he was talking about the yacht date that he asked me to. I pretended like I never remembered what it was and messed with him.

"You know," He said bit off. Why? Is he scared or shy to ask me out for a date this time? "T-the yacht date I was telling you about,"

I burst into laughter after hearing him say those words like his life depended on it.

"Was that so hard to say?" I said while laughing.

"That wasn't funny," He said annoyed as he went to his bed.

I opened the bathroom door and closed it but not before popping my head and calling him.

"It's a yes," I said.

"What?" He said as he rose up from the bed.

"Yes, I'll go on a yacht date with you later tonight," I said and closed the door immediately. I held my chest and felt the fast beating of my heart. What is going on? Why does the idea of a date with him excite me more than I should be?
