Chapter 65: Chapter 65
I scoffed. He is such a liar! How can he face me and tell me that he didn't like that woman when in fact they were flirting with each other in a public place.
"Will you stop lying?" I said. "I wasn't born yesterday, Wade."
"You're so hardheaded. Can't you even just for a second be reasonable?" He said.
"What? So it's my fault now?" I said. "How dare you say-" I felt a pain in my head so I held them with my hands.
"Shit, I'm sorry," He said and held me. "Come on; let's get you to bed so you can rest this off."
He guided me to my bed and helped me settled in. He tucked me in before he went to my things.
"What are you doing?" I said.
"I'm looking for your clothes," He said "You need to change."
"No, don't do that," I said. "Let me do that,"
I tried to get up but everything was spinning again.
"Just stay still and let me do this, okay?" He said. "What are you so concerned of anyway? I have already seen all your stuff before."
"That was before," I murmured.
"Before or now, it's just the same," He said.
I saw him walk towards me with a pair of shirts and a pajama bottom. I tried to get up but I still couldn't.
"Just leave it in my bed and I'll change later," I said.
"No, your clothes will get dry and that's not good for your body." He said.
"So what are you suggesting?" I said with a raised brow.
"I can change your clothes for you," He said.
"In your dreams!" I said. "Just leave it there and I'll change later."
"Alright then," He said as he put my clothes on the bed and went to his side as well. He took off his shirt before he climbed to his bed.
"I was really looking forward for you to see the beautiful spot I was talking about. I wanted us to talk tonight so we can fix things. That woman is just a friend and there's nothing to be worried about; I wasn't flirting with her. It's you I live, Cam. I hope you could see my efforts just to prove that.
I didn't know if that was a dream or if he really said that. All I know was that I was being pulled into sleep and I couldn't keep up with was what happening around me.
~~~
I woke up when I heard the birds chirping outside. I looked at the clock beside me and saw that it was already eleven in the morning. Jeez, I have a shoot at around three and I still have to prepare for that. I looked at Wade's bed and he wasn't there anymore. I sat up and looked for him but I couldn't find him inside the room. My head was throbbing so bad that it was so tiring to get up. I pushed the blanket off me since I wanted to get up already. I was surprised when I see that I was already wearing a shirt and a pajama bottom. Did I have the chance to change yesterday? I can't remember anything at all. All I know was that I was out partying with Drake and the other models and then Wade... came. Oh my God! Was he the one who changed my clothes? No, this can't be!
The door suddenly opened and it revealed a newly showered Wade with a tray of food in his hands. "Good thing you're awake now; you need to eat so you can get your strength back."
"What happened?" I said.
"What do you mean?" He said.
"Why am I wearing my pajama?" I said. "Did you change my clothes?"
"So what if I did?" He said.
"Why? So you, y-you-" I said but he cut me off.
"I what? Did I take off your clothes? Yes, I did!" He said and he even sounded proud of what he did.
I took my pillow and threw it at him. "How dare you!" I said.
"What's the big deal? It's not like I haven't seen all of that before." He said with a smirk.
I took my other pillow and threw it at him too. "You asshole!" I said. "That was before; it's different now!"
"Alright, alright," He said. "Stop throwing things at me. I was just concerned about you, okay? I didn't want you to get sick so I changed your clothes. Plus, it was full of your vomits last night and it stinks."
"I don't believe you," I said. "You're just making that up."
"No, I'm not," He said. "It's your fault too. You got yourself drunk yet you can't handle it."
"And who was the reason why I got drunk? It was your fault! You made me so mad last night. You flirt!" I said.
"I told you; I wasn't flirting, okay? You just got jealous that's why you go and get yourself wasted." He said.
"And why would I be jealous?" I said.
"Because you know deep in your heart that you still love me, after everything." He said. "And for the record; I wasn't flirting. I was just being nice to a friend. I didn't want to disrespect her in front of her friends, that just it."
"And how about me? You were so into her that you forgot that I was just outside waiting for you." I said.
"I didn't talk to her for long, okay? I went out immediately but you weren't there anymore." He said.
"Of course I left,' I said. "What did you think? That I would just stay and watch you with that woman?"
You shouldn't have done that, okay?" He said. "You could have gotten yourself in danger. Thank God Drake called me and told me to come and pick you up. I looked for you everywhere. I just didn't think to look for you there since I didn't know that you would be partying tonight."
"D-drake called you?" I said. I cannot believe it. I thought he was hitting on me but why did he call Wade? Was that why he seemed a bit off later that night?
"Yes," He said. "He was concerned for you so he called me." He said.
"You looked for me?" I said.
"Of course I looked for you," He said. "I was at the poolside when he called. I was looking for you there at that time because I thought that you might have thought of swimming tonight. I also looked for you in your old room; I thought you'd be there too but I was wrong."
I smiled to myself. So, you looked for me and here I thought that you totally forgot about me.
