Chapter 94: Chapter 94
The warm sun cast a golden glow over the window of Mia's room.
Stella paused, her hands trembling slightly as she placed a hand on Mia's palm. Her eyes met Mia's, a mix of sadness and apprehension dancing within them. "Mia, my darling," she began, her voice trembling with emotion, "I have something incredibly important to tell you. Something that will change everything."
Mia's curiosity piqued, and she leaned forward, eager to hear what her mother had to say. "What is it, Mum? What's going on? You've said this same thing before."
Stella took a deep breath, gathering her thoughts before she continued. "You see, Mia, there's something extraordinary about you. Something beyond what we can comprehend as ordinary humans."
Mia furrowed her brows, trying to process her mother's words. "What do you mean, Mom? What's extraordinary about me?"
Stella reached out and clasped Mia's hands in hers, her touch comforting yet charged with an otherworldly energy. "Mia, my dear, you are not just a regular wolf or royalty. You are a goddess, a divine being with a special purpose."
Mia's eyes widened, her heart pounding in her chest. A mix of disbelief and wonder washed over her. "A goddess? But how is that possible? I've always thought of myself as an ordinary wolf and a pack princess."
Stella nodded, a soft smile tugging at her lips. "I know, my love. We wanted to keep it a secret to protect you, but the time has come for you to know the truth. You were born with extraordinary powers, and you have an important mission to fulfill."
Mia's mind swirled with a whirlwind of emotions. She had always felt a sense of longing, a yearning for something more profound, but she never imagined it would lead her to discover her true identity. "What is this mission, Mom? What am I supposed to do? How does it affect anything that's going on? Why are you crying about it? Just make me understand."
Stella's eyes sparkled with a mix of pride and concern as she replied, "We don't know the specifics of your mission yet, Mia. That's why we're going to meet a powerful sorcerer who will guide us. He holds the key to unraveling the mysteries surrounding your destiny. I did some findings before coming here."
Mia nodded, the weight of her newfound revelation settling upon her shoulders. "Where is this sorcerer, Mom? And when are we leaving?"
Stella's voice resonated with determination. "He resides deep within the Enchanted Forest. We leave today, Mia. The sooner we embark on this journey, the closer we get to discovering your purpose and solving everything."
Mia took a deep breath, her mind filled with a mix of apprehension and confusion about the urgency. She stood up, ready to face the unknown. "I trust you, Mom. I'm ready to embrace this new chapter of my life, to fulfill my destiny as a goddess. But what about Alex? How do I tell Alpha Heartman what happened?"
"You'll do no such thing. When we're back, you can say everything in a more understanding way," her mom replied.
Stella's eyes shone with pride and love. She squeezed Mia's hand gently. "I knew you would be brave, my child. Together, we will face whatever lies ahead."
Stella went directly to Heartman to have a conversation with him. "Hello Alpha Heartman, it's nice meeting you again," Stella greeted.
"Hello Luna, what do we owe this visit?" Heartman, who wasn't in the mood to chitchat, went directly to the point.
"I came immediately I heard what happened to Alex, but Mia said it can't be, so I'd like to take her home for some days and help her cope until everything around here is settled," Stella explained to Heartman.
"Thank you very much, Luna Stella. I promise to get everything settled here quickly," Heartman assured.
"How's she doing? Hope the news isn't making her down?" Heartman asked, even if he already knew the answer.
"She's down but still sleeping now. I'll take my leave now, Alpha," Stella said and left Heartman's side.
As they packed their belongings and prepared for their journey, Mia's mind buzzed with questions and possibilities. She couldn't help but wonder what awaited her in the forest and what her mission as a goddess would entail. Little did she know that the answers she sought had more to them than what she imagined.
Now she didn't know about Alex's whereabouts, neither did she know the elders or Heartman's response to the news about Alex.
