Unexpected Situations
Catalaya's pov
It's been 8 days since we left the pack we had been driving aimlessly at first stopping at motels to rest until Freya suggested we went to new Orleans we all asked her if she was crazy because what's the sense of leaving only to get found by her parents until she explained that her grandmother left a big cabin for her in the bayou that her parents didn't know about so we could stay there until we decide what to do, plus no one would expect us to go there also Lana had casted a cloaking spell on us so her mom or anyone else wouldn't be able to find us.
We are currently in the car singing the lyrics to shout out to my ex by little mix that was playing on the radio.

I had taken my eyes off the road for a second to see what Alana was showing me on the map and the next thing I know this big ass truck comes out of nowhere slamming into the car running us off the road.
The rear of the car took most of the damage from the impact because I had managed to swerve just in time so the truck wouldn't hit the side i was on however the car was flipped over and we ended up rolling off the road and into the woods crashing into a big tree in the middle of the woods.
"Everyone ok?!!" I asked
"Yeah we're all good back here just a few scratches and bruises" Harley said
"Where the heck did that truck come from?" Merlin asked
"I have no idea it just showed up out of nowhere good thing I swerved or we would have all been crushed" I replied
"Yeah good thinking" Freya commented
"OK guys let's get out of this car before it decides to explode" Alana said.
We all got out of the car when I felt a sharp pain flash through my leg, I heard Aquarius gasp and I looked down to see a huge gash on my thigh with blood pouring out like a waterfall
"I thought you said you were good" Merlin yelled, he tends to do that when he's about to start panicking
"I didn't feel any injuries I thought I was" I replied
"Ok lay down I'll cast a healing spell Alana said
She kneeled beside me chanting but my wound wasn't healing
"What's taking so long your a master at spell casting" harley says
"I don't know what's happening I'm casting the spell repeatedly but she's not healing" lana replied
My vision became a bit blurry and I started feeling dizzy I could see everyone trying to talk to me but I couldn't hear or understand what they were saying, the worried face of Harley was the last thing I saw before darkness took me in as I fainted.
Third person POV
Catalaya's friends had no idea what to do, she fainted and she was loosing a lot of blood. Alana kept trying to heal her but nothing was happening
"Maybe i could feed her some of my blood" freya suggests
"Oh yeah i forgot vampire's blood have healing abilities plus your an original so its stronger, go for it" merlin says
Using her claws freya opened up a vein and dripped her blood into catalaya's mouth. The blood went down her throat and they waited a few minutes but still nothing happened.
"Ok what the hell! That normally works in like seconds tops plus shes human so there shouldn't be any problem with my blood healing her" freya exclaimed
"Guys do something her heart isn't beating, i cant feel her pulse anymore" alana yelled with tears in her eyes
"Move" merlin says rushing to catalaya's side
Closing his eyes he took a calming breath as small bolts of lighting appeared in his palms, he then placed his hands on catalaya's chest dispersing the lightening causing her body to jolt. He continued this action until they could hear her heart beating again.
Sighing Alana says "i can feel a steady pulse now"
"Yeah but she's still not healed and she's still bleeding" Aquarius says
"Maybe some fairy dust will stop the bleeding" Harley suggests
"Ok you do that harley I'll go fly around and see if there's any hospitals nearby" Alana replied
Releasing a pair of majestic silver wings Alana took off to the skies. Meanwhile harley tried healing her friend with fairy dust, when that didn't work Aquarius tried her mermaid powers using water which she managed to stop the bleeding but couldn't heal the wound.
Alana returned with no luck of locating any hospital
They were all weary and tired from walking around trying to find their way back to civilization, surprisingly no matter what they did catalaya's wound wasn't closing; the bleeding stopped but it wasn't healing and their magic eventually began running low due to lack of energy. They placed her under a tree in a clearing after walking for who knows how long. After cleaning Catalaya's wounds and changing her makeshift bandages they sat under the tree to rest as well.
They were all resting when the snap of a twig brought them out of their dazed state, A huge flaming wolf walked out of the bushes baring it's canines at them.
Already on high alert the five teenagers took on a battle formation they learnt in training hell bent on protecting themselves and Catalaya. Alana at the front changed into her angel form and conjured her light sword, Freya at the right released her fangs and claws, Merlin at the left summoned a lightening bolt, Harley on the rear called on her elemental magic and Aquarius in the middle with catalaya created a water barrier around everyone.
The wolf tilted it's head spotting the injured girl behind them he immediately shifted into a young man and walked a bit closer
"Who are you and what are you doing on our lands, also why is that human girl just laying there like a corpse" he growled out
"look we don't want any trouble we were driving and a truck slammed into us sending us off the road and into this forest we're just trying to get back to civilization so our friend here can get some medical help" Alana answered
"And what is an angel, a vampire, a fae, a mermaid and whatever that boy is, doing with a human girl and in your true forms none the less so obviously she knows about you" he says
"Its a long story but shes our friend and she's going to die if we don't get her to a hospital" merlin reasoned
"Then why don't one of you just heal her huh? And how did she get hurt anyway you guys revealed yourself to her and she couldn't handle it maybe tried to run away even?" He inquired
"Look if your not gonna help us just leave us the fuck alone ok" Aquarius yell getting angry
"Your on my territory, my home your the ones trespassing i could kill you all right now" the boy retorted
"Oh yeah? Lets see you try" Aquarius replied as her red hair started moving on its own and her ocean blue eyes started glowing
"Aquarius stop!" Alana yelled "we dont have time for this cat is dying"
Calming down Aquarius says "your right I'm sorry"
She then went on to try and heal catalaya again as well as the others in efforts to prove they were telling the truth. Seeing that they weren't lying the intrigued young man stepped a bit closer and asked
"Can I take a look at her injury i may be able to help"
Nodding her consent Alana allowed him to make his way over to Catalaya as Aquarius slowly brought down the barrier, still on guard In case he decides to try anything.
"Her wound is infected her blood pressure is low and shes getting paler by the second if she doesn't get to a doctor now she'll go into Hypovolemic shock and die" he informed
The young man scooped Catalaya up in his arms then turned to her friends saying
"My pack is close by and we have a hospital follow me and I'll take you there"
He then started running in the direction of his pack. After running for a few miles they came up on the town they were just kilometers away from before they crashed, the young man ran towards a hospital rushing inside requesting assistance immediately.
After the doctor's took Catalaya from the young man rushing her to the operating room he turned his attention to her friends.
"The doctors here are really good at what they do plus I've given strict orders to do everything possible to save your friend" he told them
"Thank you for helping us" Harley replied
"We appreciate the help and all that but we searched the area and didn't see any signs of human life we couldn't even find the road so how come everything just appeared out of the blue also who are you and what the hell type of creature are you?" Aquarius asked.
Chuckling at her tone and expressive speaking the young man answered
"My name is Adonis Walker and I'm a elemental wolf as you can already tell my affinity is fire, this town is known as salt springs and it is also our pack. The reason why you couldn't sense any signs of life is because of our leaders powers, the moment you guys entered the forest you tripped off an alarm so to speak informing us that someone had crossed our borders by incorrect means" he says
"Whoah you're an elemental wolf? weren't those wiped out during the paramount war I didn't know they still existed and what do you mean by crossing by incorrect means" Alana says
"You know your stuff not much teens these days know about the war" he replied
"Yeah well I'm kind of a history nerd so you know" she said
"I see" was Adonis's answer
"Well as i was saying there is only one way persons are allowed into our borders and it is through the front gates so to speak which is the town where we are right now, if you enter any other way you'll trigger the cloaking spell casted around the entire territory"
"Well that explains a lot" merlin muttered
"Your leader must be pretty strong to be able to cloak a whole town" Harley says
"He is" Adonis replied admiration in his voice
"Ok seeing as I've introduced myself I think it's only natural you guys return the favour"
"oh right sorry about that" Alana apologized
"My name is Alana this is Harlequin that's Aquarius she's Freya and he's Merlin and our friend you brought here is Catalaya" she said pointing to each of her friends as she called their names.
"Nice to meet you all" Adonis bowed
"I reckon your friend will be here for some time, our pack house is further up in the town why don't you guys come with me and I can introduce you to our leader and get you guys somewhere to stay until your friend is all fixed up" he offered
"Sure sounds good" Merlin replied happily at the chance to rest properly. They all followed Adonis as he lead the way to his home.
When they arrived at a huge mansion near the edge of the town with endless miles of woods behind it they all stared in awe, to say the house was majestic was an understatement.
"Welcome to my humble abode" Adonis gestures opening the giant gates so they could enter
"there is nothing humble about this it looks like a freaking castle" Merlin exclaimed.
Smiling at Merlin's outburst Adonis lead them to the front doors leading them into the house and then upstairs to his leaders office.

Samael's POV
I'm in my office going over a map crossing off locations I'd already checked and compiling the information i've found so far about my sister's whereabouts. It's been sixteen years since she vanished after her mother gave birth to her but I've never once stopped looking for her. I created a pack here on earth to make it easier to gather information which had been helpful but i was still no closer to finding her. Engrossed in my work I suddenly felt someone had triggered the dormant cloaking spells i placed around the territory, which meant there was someone trespassing on my land.
I hate having to deal with people who do such stupid things why cant they just mind their own business everyone wants to know who i am how my pack is so rich and how i got so many powerful creatures to join me. Some idiots have even tried to challenge me and start wars in efforts to take over what I've built. If only they knew who i am they'd have stayed in their little caves and hid in fear but i can't let anyone know who i am it'll cause too much problems plus that damned nosey bastard Gabriel might find where i am and i don't have time for him right now my only focus is on finding my sister.
Sighing i mind linked my second in command "Adonis there's been a breach in the border could you please go kill whoever wants to piss me off today I'm not in the mood to deal with them" i ask
"With pleasure" came his reply
Adonis is an elemental wolf from the affinity of fire and the last of his kind. Because his pack was very religious and believed deeply in the whole ancestral mumbo jumbo they found ways to channel their ancestors aka their dead comrades powers and adonis being the only one of his pack left he's able to channel all that energy from his ancestors which makes him extremely powerful and that is why i made him my second in command also he's my mate.
"However Adonis isn't the only powerful creature here. I'm a collector of sorts, so sixteen years ago when my dad and I fought in the paramount war i managed to save some kids teens and adults who's species had been wiped out due to their lack of numbers. There were dragons, elemental wolves, a couple of hybrids, ect. Most were imprisoned while others were being forced to fight. When the war ended i gave them the choice to go and try to rebuild their homes, a few left but majority of them stayed. It was whilst i was trying to figure out what to do with so many people did i get the idea to create a pack. I used it to gather information on finding my sister and they got a place to call home.
A few minutes has passed and i could still sense the intruders. Wondering why adonis hadn't killed them as yet i reach out to him again.
"Babe what's taking so long why aren't the pests dead yet i can still sense them, they didn't hurt you did they?"
Scoffing he replied "who do you think your talking to of course they didn't hurt me and these people didn't cross intentionally earlier before you called there was a crash outside our borders a truck ran into a car sending them over the edge we had found the car and luggages but the vehicle was empty only a pool of blood was any indication that people were in the car it seems they were the missing people from the accident. He replied
"Are you sure?"
"Yes I'm sure their story checks out I'm gonna help them there's a human girl here who's injured and she could die any moment if she doesn't get some help"
"Ok take her to the hospital and then bring her friends to me i want to talk to them"
"Ok" he replied before cutting the link
Afterwards i resumed my work.
About an hour later i was brought out of my concentration by a knock on the door before Adonis walked in with five unknown persons behind him.
"Samael sorry to disturb you but I found these five people along with an injured girl at the location you sent me to check out earlier today, I also took the injured girl to the hospital" Adonis reported
Looking at him confused i say "why so formal baby" via our mindlink
I then got up from my chair and walked over to him with a devilish grin on my face. He always insists on being formal around others because I'm a prince and he isn't from a royal bloodline. I keep telling him that doesn't natter but he is one stubborn wolf so i make it my duty to mess with him whenever he gets like this. I walk up to him getting as close as i can as he tries to back away. When he cant go any further stuck between me and our guests i cover the gap between us getting as close as possible. Leaning in i put my face close to his, just an inch closer and our lips would be touching i continue to tease him until he's about to start cursing before i turn to the group of teens and held out my hand to the young lady in front
"Hello, I'm Samael but you cam call me Sam please come in and have a seat" i say motioning to my office.
I could see countless emotions that flashed across adonis' face. Fighting to hold back my laughter i quickly went back to my chair.
When everyone took a seat except Adonis who was glaring daggers at me i asked the five teens what they were doing on my land and how they got here. They told me how they were just passing through and before they could reach the town a truck slammed into them but luckily their friend swerved the car in time which resulted in them only obtaining minor injuries which had already healed but their friend suffered a huge injury that caused her to faint from blood loss because she's a human.
After hearing their story and searching them with my demon eyes to see if they were a threat I offered them refuge until they were able to start traveling again. I asked Adonis to show them where they'll be staying because i honestly didn't have time to play host but mostly because i wanted to prolong my escape from the inevitable revenge i knew he was planning because of my little stunt earlier.
When they left I went back to work determined to find my sister.
