Truth Revealed Pt 1

Catalaya's POV (still unconscious)

I'm standing in some sort of prison like structure, well it looks more like a destroyed building. In the middle of the platform stands a giant cage that has multiple thick giant glowing chains wrapped around it, a few of the chains are broken on the ground but majority of them are still around the cage. I can hear low growling coming from inside the cage but its too dark for me to see who or what is inside, but i can definitely feel the power radiating from this creature, its suffocating.

"H-hello" i called

"Is anyone in there"

"Well well well you've finally found me" answered a sadistic voice

"Who are you?" I ask

"I'm you, sweetheart and you are me, we are one in the same catalaya or at least we should have been" the voice says

I hear foot steps coming closer and closer with each word the voice says. Its get closer and closer until i can see the silhouette of a woman- i think.

"I don't understand how can we be the same person? And how do you know my name?" I say

"We were together since your birth catalaya but you wouldn't remember since you were just a baby. A lot happened when you were born, we both got screwed over but that's another story for a different time what's important now is that you've found me so now i can be set free" the voice says stepping closer to the bars where i could finally see who or what it was I'm speaking to.

I gasped in part shock part horror when the person if i can even call it that, stepped into the light. It was a creature i had never seen before although it had feminine human features it clearly wasn't human, i had no idea what it was.

"W-what a-are you?" I ask

"I'm a demon" it replied with an evil grin showing its sharp teeth

"A-A demon?" I ask in disbelief

"But if your a demon how can you and i be the same person I'm not a demon I'm not even a supernatural creature I'm just a human girl" i say

Laughing hysterically the demon replied "catty catty catty you are so much more than you know and I'll help you become all that you were meant to be but first i need to get out of here"

"And how do you plan on doing that?" I asked

"Well i was supposed to be free when we found our mate but that ship has sailed since angel dickhead decided to reject you" she spat

"But no matter i know someone else who can help me get out someone even better than that little shit who calls himself an angel"

"Wait how do you know about noa- Wait a minute its you!!" I yelled in realization "your the monster elder Norris was talking about" i say

"BINGO!!!!" The demon shouted "that's me"

"But h-how are you here? How am i here and why were you chained here?" I ask

"Catalaya do you know where here is?" She asked

"Uhm no" i say

"Were inside your mind catty well technically were on an astral plane but still its the power of your mind that's allowing me to talk to you and vice versa" she explains

"So technically I'm not here this is all just something that was conjured up by my mind?" I ask

"Exactly. Your mind is here but your body is currently in a hospital room" she says

"Then why does it looks like this if my mind conjured everything up" i ask

"Well it didn't conjure everything i really am imprisoned but it looks nothing like this, i have no reason why this is what you envisioned my prison to look like but it's your mind so it's your rules" she shrugged nonchalantly

Now that i could see her more clearly she was really pretty her long white hair was beautiful it looked so soft and silky.

"It is" she says boastfully

"Excuse me? I say confused

"My hair, it is soft and silky" she replied

"Wait you heard that?" I ask

"Of course i did we are in your mind, I'm in your mind well kind of so i know everything that goes on in here" she responded

"Wow" i say surprised

"So what's your name?" I ask

"Oh right sorry about that" she chuckled sheepishly

"My name is legacy, the elemental demon at your service" she says with a bow

"Whoah" i say in amazement

"I have one more question, are you the reason i keep having these painful episodes" i ask accusingly

"Unfortunately yes. I'm really sorry about that but there is nothing i can do about it" she says

"But why?"

"Everytime one of my chains break it has an impact, the force of that impact is the pain you feel. You were never suppose to go through this, i would have been free the moment our mate accepted us but he didn't and now I'm forced to break the chains myself but i cant get rid of the barrier as it seals my powers"

"Wait so if i feel pain whenever you break a chain then why don't you stop breaking them"

"I can't. If I'm not freed by the next full moon we both die. I wasn't supposed to be away from you this long we aren't supposed to be separated. Honestly if you hadn't accepted his rejection we'd have died already" she tells me

I gasped in shock and bewilderment. All this time and i didn't even realize what was going on inside my own body.

"When is the next full moon?" I ask

"Its two weeks away" she replied

"What!!!! So how are you gonna get free?"

"Only you can help me get free catty" she replied

"Wait how do i do that i have no idea what to do" i say

"Find our father cat he knows how to release me, find our father" she replies

Suddenly i saw a small shimmer and the building like structure started disappearing.

"Wait what's happening" i ask in panic

"Don't panic your starting to wake up" legacy says

"But what'll happen to you?" I ask

"We won't be able to communicate at least not until I'm free" she say as she started fading away

"But i need you i cant do this alone"

"Find our father and he'll do the rest your stronger than you know catty i believe in you" was the last thing she said before vanishing

"But who is our father" i say to myself

I woke up to an annoying beeping sound

"Ugh turn that damned alarm off and let me sleep" I mumbled

"Cat? Omg your awake, GUYS SHES AWAKE!!" Harley yelled pulling me into a hug

"Shush no noise I feel like head is gonna a burst" I told her

"Sorry hon" she whispers

The door to the room I was in opened and Freya Merlin Aquarius and Alana all rushed in

"CAT!!"

they all say at the same time as they threw themselves at me.

After being squished and the constant checks to see if I was ok i asked

"Guys where are we?"

They all took a seat as they explained how I fainted after the crash and they were found by a guy who's also an elemental wolf and he took me to the hospital and that the leader who's pack they were staying at gave them refuge.

"So we're in salt springs and I've been unconscious for two days?" I ask, they all nodded in confirmation

"Holy crap" I whispered.

Suddenly the door opened again and two guys walked in and I have to admit they are hot!

"Hey guys" the blonde hair guy said

All my friends waved at him and I raised an eyebrow at them all

"Cat this is Adonis" Aquarius said introducing us

"well damned even his name is sexy" I thought to myself

"He was the one who helped us in the woods" she told me

"Hi" I waved

"Thanks for helping us" I say appreciatively

"It was my pleasure" he replied

"Also this is the leader of our pack Samael" he said pointing to the guy next to him.

The moment i looked the person he was talking about i got this weird feeling, it wasn't anything signalling danger it was more of familiarity like we had a bond. Not like a mate bond but something else I wasn't sure what it was. Before I could say hello pain washed over me and I screamed

"Laya what's wrong?" Merlin asked

I know he was extremely worried because that's the only time he calls me Laya

"My head" was all I could get out as the pain was too much, Alana casted a spell on me to ease the pain a bit so I could at least move around but it didn't help much.

"I guess legacy broke another chain" i thought to myself

"What happened to her?" Adonis asked worriedly

"She's been feeling pain ever since her mate rejected her but we don't know why because she accepted the rejection" Harley said

"Ex-mate" Alana spat

"He did what!!!" Adonis yelled "Is he crazy no one rejects their mate that rarely ever happens"

"Yeah well not only did he reject her he bullied her also and humiliated her in front of the whole pack" Merlin clarified

"Wow guys thanks for talking about me like am not sitting here in pain" I say sarcastically while cringing

"Sorry hun" Aquarius blushed.

"Where does it hurt?" Samael ask

"All over" I replied

He took my hands and held them firmly while closing his eyes, black veins appeared in his arms as I feel the pain leave my body. Everyone except Adonis gasped in shock, he opened his eyes letting go of my hand then placing it on my forehead his eyes turned blood red with black around the rims.

"Holy shit" he yelled falling backwards on the floor

"No it couldn't be" he whispered with a look of horror on his face

"Cat who are your parents?" He asked

"Well I was raised by werewolves but on my seventeenth birthday a couple weeks ago they told me I wasn't their child that they found me in the woods" I answered truthfully

"When was your birthday?"

"July 6th" I replied.

The shock look became more intense as he paced around the room mumbling. He turned to me again and said

"Are you aware of the bonded beast residing in you?" He asked bluntly

"The what!?" My friends say at the same time even Adonis had a shocked expression on his face as they all looked at Samael

"I don't really know how to explain this, Cat you have latent abilities that seems to have been bounded but now their slightly free and seem to be overwhelming your body I think that is the cause of your intense pain" he says.

He was basically repeating the same thing Elder Norris said

"There's something else" Samael continued

"I think you and i might be related. When i was helping you i caught a glimpse of your past and i believe you may be who I've been looking for but i can't be sure until you've been freed" he blurted out

I sat there staring at him for a few seconds before i asked "are you my dad!?"

"What? No I'm not but i think im your brother" he replied "in fact I don't think so I know your my sister there's only one way you could have that much untapped power" he exclaimed

"Yeah but you guys look nothing alike" harley says

"That is true but that's because we have different moms and she's the splitting image of hers based on the pictures I've seen of her mom" he replied

"And what's your explanation for her untapped power as you put it" Alana asked

"It's not exactly my story to tell besides you wouldn't believe me anyways so I'll let the person who sent me to search for you 16 years ago explain it all" he replied

"And who's that?" I asked

He looked me in the eyes then said "Our father."

My heart raced at the mention of my dad. I wondered if he's the one legacy told me to find. Hopefully its him and that he'll free her like she says because i really don't want to die I've survived this long i can't kick the bucket here.

"Look this isn't exactly the place to discuss all of this so why don't you change and come back to the pack house and I'll call him so he can come over cause I'm sure he'll want to see you after all he has been searching for you for 16 years" he said to me.

I agreed and he and Adonis left the room to go call my potential father I'm guessing, I got up from the bed going into the bathroom attached to my room.

After changing I limped back into the room to find my friends waiting for me

"So how do you feel about all this" Alana asked

"Yeah you might find your real family" Harley squealed

"No matter where I come from or who I'm related to you guys are and will always be my real family" I told them and it was true they were the only one who protected and supported me I wouldn't be here if it wasn't for these five people and Dominic of course.

"Guys there's something i need to tell y'all" i say nervously

"What is it?" Merlin asks

"Well.... I'mnothumanI'maDemon"

"What!?" Freya asks

"While i was unconscious i met someone or rather something she's a demon, my demon. So i may or may not be a demon but its as Samael said there's untapped power inside me and i know its coming from her but she's imprisoned and i need to find my father so i can set her free before the next full moon cycle or I'm gonna die" i say in one breath

They all stood there looking at me as if i just transformed into Cerberus then grew a fourth head.

"Well you guys, say something anything"

"So your telling us that your not human as we thought you were but a demon?" Alana asked

"Yes?" I replied not really sure how to answer

"Cat you can't be a demon your like the least demonic person i know, if it was Aquarius or freya who said it then I'd believe but not you" merlin says

"HEY!!!" Both girls yelled at the same time making us chuckle in return

"I'm serious you guys its true and noah isn't the reason I've been feeling pain well he is partly but that's not the point" i say

"So this demon appears in your mind and tells you you guys are connected and you believe it?" Harley asks

"Its not just her ok you heard what dominic said and the day i went to visit elder Norris she told me there was something dark and powerful bonded inside of me" i argue

"I didn't tell you guys because i didn't want to acknowledge it because i felt like even more of a freak but now that its out i cant ignore it and whether or not what legacy says is true my life is on the line do you guys really want to take that chance because i don't" i tell them

"Is that her name, the demon i mean. Is legacy her name?" Aquarius asks

"Yes" i reply

"Look i know this is hard to believe and i know you guys want what's best for me and i could be getting tricked by this demon as it is the norm for demons to do these things to humans but i have no idea who i am or where i come from and this could be my chance to find out so I'm not giving that up I'm doing this with or without your help and my first step is finding my father so I'm gonna head over to dominic's pack house to get some answers" i say leaving the room

Going to the front desk the doctor discharged me giving orders not to put too much pressure on my leg. I walked outside the building wondering how I'm gonna get to the pack house with no vehicle when a huge limo drove up and parked in front of me and a middle aged man in a chauffeur's uniform stepped out he looked at me and said

"by any chance do you know of some young people here by the names of Catalaya Aquarius Merlin Harley Alana and Freya?"

"Actually I'm catalaya and the other's are my friends. How may i help you?" I ask

"Mr Walker sent me to pick you up" he replied

"Mr Walker??" I asked puzzled

"it's Adonis' last name Freya answers from behind startling me

"Oh ok" I say stepping into the limo followed by everyone else

"Damned our pack is rich but it seems theirs is loaded" Aquarius gushed looking at the decor of the vehicle

"I know what you mean" Merlin replied stuffing his face with the complementary chocolate the chauffeur who's name i learned is Anthony told us we could help ourselves to. A few minutes later we drove up to two enchanting gates accompanied by a long driveway leading up to a even more exquisite house

"Holy shit this isn't a pack house it's a freaking castle" I shouted

That earned me a slap on the back of my head from Alana

"Language" she said sternly

"But I didn't say anything bad" I whined with a pout.

The limo stop and we got out as soon as we saw Adonis at the front door. We thanked Anthony for the ride then made our way over to Adonis.

"Nice castle" I say to him as he led us through the front door and into a grand living room that could hold about 500 people, then took a left turn.

He laughed as he said "our pack is pretty big so we had to make space for everyone" as we walked into an elevator.

Adonis pressed some buttons and we were off. The doors opened revealing a beautiful hallway with cream colored walls with a bit of brown in some areas and a soft red carpet rolling down the hall. There were pictures of people all over the walls we saw a few of Samael with a man who had some really rad tattoos on his arms others with him and a beautiful woman whom I'm guessing was his mom based on the fact that they resembled each other but most of them was with him and Adonis cuddling making all our eyes turn to a blushing Adonis when he saw why we were looking at him.

Adonis stopped in front of two giant doors that looked like they led to an office, he knocked twice before we heard Samael's voice said

"Come in" We all entered as he looked up at us and smiled

"Welcome to our pack house Cat I already called dad he's on his way over here it'll take him about half an hour to reach so you guys can wait here till he arrives" he told me

"Sure" was my simple reply as we all took seats on the expensive chairs that decorated the office.

"Cat" Alana says bringing my attention to her

"Yeah?" I answered looking at her expectantly

"We're sorry if we upset you by not believing what you told us it's just that you've been hurt so many times and we just want to protect you but if you think whatever this legacy person says is true then we'll help as best we can" she says apologetically

"I understand guys and i love you guys too. Thanks for always looking out for me" i say

"Ok guys dad will be here soon but before he comes there's something I need to tell you all before he gets here" Samael says worry laced in his voice

"What is it?" Merlin asked

"Well you see- err how should I put this my dad is a very powerful man well- because he's the devil" he replied stumbling on his words

"So he's an awful person!?" Harley asked as confused as the rest of us

"No no not like that he's the actual devil as in Lucifer the king of hell" he clarified

"Very funny Samael so your telling me that my father is the king of hell? That I'm the devil's daughter" I questioned suspecting he's pulling a prank on us and maybe Alana was right.

"That's exactly what I'm telling you" he answered.

"Our father is the king of hell."
