Chapter 31: Chapter 31
Rose Johnson being the prime minister, James Johnson's illegitimate daughter did not come as a total surprise to Wesley. After all, he had suspected it, which was why he made his men investigate the matter. But then, the current Rose, being totally different from the former Rose made it seem like there was an impersonation going on.
But then, the question is, if the illegitimate daughter of the prime minister had been impersonated, where then is the real Rose?
Who is the current fake Rose and what is the reason for the impersonation?
Why does Andrew think she's suspicious? Is it because of Sarah or are there really some connections between all these with Sarah?
He found the who scenario strange and even though the whole thing had nothing to do with him, it did with Andrew and therefore, he would try to find out every down thing.
About GlassWare being Rose's company, why is the prime minister stepping into it? After all, with the little he had found out, no one knows he has another daughter aside from his two children, a son and a daughter which he had from his wife Ellen Johnson.
Or probably a few people know and it's just not known to the public that the prime minister has an illegitimate child.
To be super sure of his findings, especially about Rose, Jame's illegitimate daughter being impersonated, Wesley decided he would get his men to carry out a DNA test. That way, he would be able to find out and query where the real Rose is.
If he starts from there, he'll perhaps be able to upturn some hidden facts and maybe get Andrew's woman back.
Wesley gracefully walked back to his desk, his face under the light looked calm and collected like everything was under control already. If only he knew things weren't as simple as he thinks.
Upon getting to his desk, his phone suddenly rang out. Bringing it up to his face and seeing it was a call from the informant from earlier, Wesley slid on the green button on the screen before placing the phone against his ear. Then he waited for the other person to speak first.
"Boss," the Croxxed X member called out.
"I just got hold of a piece of news," he stated while panting slightly while Wesley involuntarily furrowed his brows.
"Rose just got into an accident and has been rushed to a hospital."
When Wesley heard this, he was stunned.
"How?" He asked.
"She was run in by a motorcycle. They both have been rushed to the hospital," he answered.
Silence suddenly eluded the air that one could hear the lightest drop of a pin.
It was that way for a minute before the man on the other end said, "I watched the footage. It actually seems like an accident but I think the motorcyclist deliberately ran into her. It was as if he was sent to shut her up. I'll send the clip to you."
Following that, the call dropped.
Wesley slowly dropped his hand as his brows furrowed more in confusion.
Everything just got twisted. It really just got twisted but then, one thing he was bent on finding out is if the Rose who just got into an accident is the real daughter of James.
Therefore, he decided to send a text message asking him to use the opportunity of Rose lying on the bed to get her hair or blood for DNA.
Getting any of James isn't a difficult thing for someone like Wesley with highly trained men like the Croxxed X, but getting Rose's just seemed to have got much more easier now.
A blue BMW raced into the hospital and hastily parked just right somewhere on the spot. Almost immediately, Cindy hopped out and raced into the hospital premises. Upon seeing who it was, the security men who were about going after her who had driven in that way did not bother going after her again.
Cindy raced into the hospital and immediately grabbed a doctor by the corridor. With tears and mucus all over his face, she looked so pitiful and devastated. The doctor immediately recognized who it was, after all, she is a well-known celebrity. So he immediately began to assure her that Rose was out of danger.
Even still, Cindy kept on whimpering, “I want to see her. Take me to her ward.”
The doctor did, not ceasing to cheer her up, telling her Rose was out of danger as they walked down the corridor to one of the VIP wards they had risen transferred to.
Hetting into the ward, there was Rose lying motionlessly on the bed, her head and left leg bandaged. Seeing that, Cindy’s tears fell uncontrollably. Slowly, she walked towards her bed and knelt beside her bed before taking hold of her hand.
“Rose,” her voice called shakily as more tears fell.
“This wasn’t the plan this morning. Come on get up and don’t do this, don’t!”
Her voice shook real bad and she almost burst into tears but she had to swallow it in so she wouldn’t disturb the ward. Even still, she couldn’t stop her tears from falling.
The doctor watched on, feeling sympathetic which is even against his professionalism. Following this he left wanting to give her space.
Cindy, sensing he had left turned and after reconfirming she was all alone with Rose in the ward, she scoffed before turning back to Rose lying on the bed. Seeing her in bandages, Cindy felt a pang in her heart. She had caused it.
But anyways she still could not help but smirk as she stared at Rose lying helplessly and motionlessly on the bed.
“At least, you will learn to stop butting into other’s businesses now,” she muttered.
Remembering she had to inform the industry, she took out her phone to call Director Carlson. Also, should in case there be anyt sort of pictures or videos online regarding Rose's accident, they would be able to take it down immediately.
Just when she would call Director Carlson, she remembered Diasy whom she had left behind in Rose’s mansion. She had called Richard and informed him to go meet her which she is sure he would have gone over, but then, she still felt the need to give Daisy a call, should in case she had woken up.
She decided to call Daisy first, before calling Carlson.
It rang but the call went unanswered. She called three more times, but it still went unanswered. She could not help but furrow her brows in confusion but then she shrugged. “She’s probably still asleep.”
But even though she thought that way, she still felt something was not right.
