Chapter 37: Chapter 37
"Just making sure someone says the right one."
I rolled my eyes while shrugging his arms right away. Why the hell does this man have to be all muscly? He's like a python gripping his prey.
Keelan kissed my cheek as I turned to him. "That guy likes you, you know. And probably those guys who kept stealing glances at you. I hate to admit it but I shouldn't have allowed you to perform at the festival."
I frowned as I crossed my arms. "Why would you say that? You're the one who tricked me into saying yes."
He imitated my frown. "Yes, and I regretted it. You're going to be the center of attention. Where's your glasses? Wear it. I don't like other people recognizing you." He demanded selfishly.
"I don't need it anymore. My dad already caught me, remember?" I sassed. He then eyed me head to foot clenching his jaw at the sight he did not appreciate.
"You will wear it." Keelan grabs my hand. "Come on. We'll find one." I then heard him mumbling about changing my outfit.
"No way." I held my ground. "You're being annoying right now." I whined and protested but he didn’t budge.
Keelan stopped pulling me and turned. "And you're annoying for being so naive."
"I'm not being naive if I know you're being jealous again right now." I retorted with an extra sass.
He gave me an ear splitting grin. He then kissed me, lips lingering for a couple of seconds before pulling away. It was a steady kiss, no tongue.
"If you know it, then put on those glasses." He was still grinning. I scowled. He suddenly looked at me with seriousness. He placed his hand on my cheek and stroked it languidly. He brought down his height to match mine. "Please, sweetheart. You have no idea how you've been the talk of the school, especially those performing arts students. You weren't here for a couple of days so you didn't know. And it's pissing me off." A scowl was etched on his handsome face.
"You don't like people praising me or even looking at me but you have a lot of girls around you and you don't even shoo them away. Instead, you tolerate them." There was vague venom in my tone that it takes actual listening to notice it. Of course, I didn't intend to. I got carried away. It was too late to realize that I was also complaining about the girls who’re always clinging to him.
Keelan smiled. "It's nice to know that you're as jealous as me."
I looked away. "Whatever." I then walked away, leaving him. I can hear him chuckle behind. I heard footsteps following me. Seconds later, Keelan's arm went around me. I squealed when he kissed my cheek playfully as his arm tightened.
"I love you." He whispered.

"So are you staying at my house tonight?" Mila asked as she leaned against one of the lockers beside mine.
I dumped all the heavy books from my bag and answered her. "Of course, I am. I am homeless, remember?"
She smirked mischievously. "I don't know, Kai. I thought you're going to live with Keelan by now." She shrugged as if she already expected that’s gonna happen.
I eyed her in disbelief as I slammed the locker shut. "No way. That was just one night-"
"You're practically glowing right now-" I covered her mouth with my hand and glared at her. She giggled. "Your boyfriend's here." I turned my head and saw Keelan from a distance standing. He waved his hand when he met my eyes. My hand retracted from Mila's mouth.
"Call me when you get home." I raise my brow inquisitively.
She rolled her eyes. "The guy obviously wants to go out with you. Oh, right, almost forgot. Ember has been looking for you. She's been babbling about your performance last Saturday and I was like the end of her annoying squealing." She was rolling her eyes while telling me about Ember. "And I'm sure Keelan informed you about your instant popularity with the performing arts."
"Yeppp. Trust me. I'm glad I wasn't here."
"On the bright side, you're not going to worry about whether your father finds out about it cause he already did."
My sigh held a little disappointment. "Yeah..." I suddenly felt an arm around my shoulder.
"Hey, Kee." Mila greeted. Keelan nodded at her with a smile. "Guess it's my cue to go." She starts walking but suddenly stops. "Don't come home late if you do, just stay with him." She winks at me and walks away. I plan to lunge at her and probably choke her to death in a most bestest friend way but Keelan holds me tight so I won't escape from him.
"Where are we going?" I asked as soon as we reached his car in the parking lot. He didn't open the door from the passenger's side. I raise a brow questioningly.
Keelan leaned against his car. Both of his hands went inside his front pockets. "You still haven't paid me." I frowned, not understanding what he meant. "The date, Miss Knight." He smirked.
"Oh. I thought you bothering me is payment enough." He chuckled. "Well, choose. A date or dating me?"
He laughs. "Both, sweetheart. That's certainly something that I can't choose."
I crossed my arms. "Don't be too greedy, Mr. White."
He grins. "Both." I smiled as I shook my head. "Come on, love. It's time for our date. Take me to places you want to go."
---
"Hey, Drei." I went straight to his bar as soon as I arrived at the club. He was helping one of his bartenders. His club was full tonight, probably because it's a Friday night.
"Hey, beautiful." He then frowns as sees my solo flight. "Are you alone?"
"I came here alone but Keelan's coming later."
Andrei grins. "My instinct tells me that you're in a relationship with him."
I puffed. "Not telling anything~" I said it in a singsong, teasing him.
He chuckled, showing me a bottle of one of his liquors. "Drink?"
"I'm feeling margarita." Drei signals his bartender to prepare a margarita. "Why did you want me to come here anyway? What can I help you with?"
"It's not me who's asking for help, Kai." I scrunch my eyebrows. "Come on." He nodded his head towards his office. I followed him there. As soon as he opened the door, four familiar heads turned to me. I froze at my spot, my eyes widened, shocked at their presence.
Andrei looked at me. "I guess an apology is in order... right, Dustin?" He turned to Dustin
