Chapter 36: Chapter 36
I groaned as I felt a tickling sensation from my nose. It went down to my lips, to my neck. My eyebrows furrowed when I felt something wet against my collar.
I immediately opened my eyes.
Keelan was staring at me with hooded eyes.
"What are you doing?" I asked.
He smirked playfully. "I was hoping you won't wake up with what I'm doing."
"Let me sleep, Keelan." I groaned as I turned away from him. He chuckled behind me. I gasped when I felt his hand lowering down from my waist towards my-
"Keelan!" I got up and restrained his hands. I hovered over him and trapped him. He was fucking sniggering which made me more annoyed. I frowned when I could feel his naked chest with mine. I looked at our chests. My eyes widened with the realization of our nudity.
I grabbed the blanket and covered myself. Keelan was already full on laughing. I grabbed the pillow and smacked him in the face. He stopped laughing and instead gave me a wicked grin.
He lunged at me.
I squealed. He starts kissing me while placing himself in between my legs. I can feel him against mine.
---
The kitchen was noisy when Keelan and I went down for breakfast. I realized a lot of people were here. Keelan's parents and sister, and surprisingly Ren and Sierra are here. Stefano was absent, obviously because he's early for his work.
Everyone was quiet for a moment when they saw us.
"Gimme that hundred bucks, I won." Ren broke the silence. Sierra muttered incoherent curses as she gave the bill. Keelan and I's eyebrows raised in curiosity.
"I can't believe you let me down, Keelan boy." Sierra said with a huff.
Ren laughed. "I told you so." Everyone laughed along with him.
"What the hell is going on here?" Keelan asked, obviously a bit irritated.
"They betted on whether Kyree stays here overnight and apparently Ren won against Sierra." Avery explained with amusement. Keelan glared at the two of them while I feel like hiding.
"Come on, son. You two sit down and eat. And you, boy, need to go to your class." Keith pointed at Ren. Ren pulled away from leaning against the kitchen island.
"I'll gladly leave with my one hundred dollars." Ren apparently was trying to point it out to Sierra.
Sierra rolled her eyes. "Yeah, whatever. I'll get you next time." Everyone chuckled from their banter. Ren patted Keelan's shoulder before leaving. Keelan nodded to his friend.
"Come sit here, dear." Alanna beckoned me to sit beside her.
Avery served breakfast for us. Sierra went out to check Cade and Luca playing in the living room. The morning started with random conversation. His parents were both chatterboxes. Avery despite busy cleaning the dirty dishes would join our conversation. Surprisingly, Keelan was the only one who was pretty quiet. He would only stare at me in between and then went back to eating his breakfast. Sometimes he joins the conversation but most of the time he's quiet.
I enjoyed our chatter so much that we forgot to observe the time. I still have to go home and change. I already showered here though.
"You can borrow my dress so you won't have to go home." Avery suggested.
"Are you sure? The dress will probably be too big for me." I laughed at my own joke. I mean this woman is taller than me and she has really beautiful curves.
Avery laughs before answering. "Don't be stupid, Kai. You're only inches shorter than me. Probably five. Come on, let's go upstairs. I think I have a really short dress which Stefano really hated." She laughs.
When we reached her room, I waited for her to find the dress.
"Here." While handing it to me. The dress was short sleeved and flowy on the skirt. "That dress reached inches below my butt. I've never worn it. I don't think it's up for discussion for Stefano." She giggled.
"I don't think you're giving him a reason to be jealous." I teased.
"I know." She exclaimed. He waves her hand. "The guy is born that way. I'm used to it."
"Well when your wife's too beautiful, you gotta be careful." I teased with a grin.
She laughs. "Hey, that rhymes." She then puts her elbow on my shoulder. "I hope you're not the jealous type, Kyree, you know my baby brother's quite famous with the female population." Avery laughed for the umptenth time when she announced my frown. "Oh my god! Look at that scrunched on your eyebrow." I blushed. She continued laughing and then sighed. "No wonder they kept teasing me. It actually feels good to tease someone."
"Hey, that's not fair." I pouted.
"You better change now, sister in law, or you'll be late for you next class." She grinned at me playfully.
---
"Why are you smiling like that?" He grinned even more. "Stop it." He didn't stop. "Stop it, Keelan." I smacked.
"What? Why?" He laughed in between.
"Because there's always something with that smile. It's creeping me out."
He laughs. "Oh, sweetheart, you have no idea." He glanced at me for a sec and then his sight went back to the road while driving with again, a stupid smile on his face. I rolled my eyes at him while shifting my gaze to the window.
"I just remembered something. Something that I just found out last night." He confessed.
I turned to him with an intention of listening. He continued. "That I'm your first."
I frowned. "Did you actually believe Deon?" I'm slightly offended by that thought to be honest.
"No. No, I don't... but I would at least expect that you're not... anymore." He glances at me and then looks away. "I'm sorry but I'm really just being honest here."
I nodded. "I understand. I mean I did think of it with you... considering... there are a lot of girls that like you." I shyly glanced at him. He had a soft smile on his face.
He chuckled. "I guess now you know why I have this stupid grin on my face. I'm really happy we're each other's first, Kai. You're just so perfect that I think you're busting my heart."
I giggled. "Eww~ stop being so mushy. You're making my hair stand. Look." While showing him the hair on my skin.
He laughs. "Oh, sweetheart, it's because the elephants in your stomach are fluttering."
---
I stride towards my locker while feeling awkward with other students looking at me weirdly. I went straight to my locker trying to ignore their looks.
As soon as I opened it, a guy approached me. He has blonde hair and tan skin and is a bit muscular. All in all he's pretty cute.
"Hey." His brows then furrowed. "Kyree, right?"
I gave him a curious look before answering. "Y-yeah. Can I help you?"
He grinned. "I was actually looking for you since Monday." I frowned while wondering why he was looking for me. "I just- I wanted to say you were amazing back at the festival. Your voice is very beautiful." He was blushing. His hand kept rubbing his neck. He was nervous.
I smiled. "Thanks." I know I sounded confident or not shy being complimented. Do I sound arrogant when I say I was used to this kind of compliment?
"My friends were amazed when we heard you play and sing. We were one of the contestants by the way. I'm a performing arts student- shit! I'm sorry. I'm Trey... by the way." He blushed. "Sorry I forgot to introduce myself."
I giggled at his silly rambling. "It's okay. I'm sure you have a lot in your mind right now."
"Y-yeah." He keeps rubbing his neck. "I also think you're really pret-"
"Why'd you left me, sweetheart?" Keelan's arms went around my waist behind me while glaring at Trey. Trey stiffened, probably surprised at Keelan's sudden presence.
"Keelan! This is Trey. He's one of the contestants who performed during the festival. Trey, this is Keelan-"
"Her boyfriend. Nice to meet ya." I frowned.
"Oh." Trey's face looked dejected but he smiled either way. "I gotta get to class. Nice to meet you two. See you around." Trey went off in a hurry after waving goodbye. Weird.
My head turned to him while still maintaining our position. "Why did you cut me off, mister? I don't like it." I scolded.
His hold on me tightened. "Just making sure someone says the right one.
