Robin's POV

"What are you still doing here?" I asked Natasha the moment I walked into the pack house and saw her.

She smirked. "I'm back home Robin." She said.

"What?" I asked her in exclamation.

"Now don't be that way brother. Don't tell me you haven't missed me." She said saucily.

I frowned at her. "I'm not your brother anymore." I said to her.

"Cmon," she said brushing my statement off with her hand. "You loved it when I call you that when we were still little." She said.

"I'm glad you said when we were still little. It irritates me when you call me that again." I said to her. Natasha wasn't really my sister but she called me that while she made Skye her lover despite we all being friends. "What are you doing here?" I asked her again.

"Skye asked me to stay. You see,he still loves me. All he needed was to see it." She said with a smirk. Something about her felt so off.

"You truly disgust me now Nat. I never knew you were going to stoop this low to get into Skye's life." I said to her.

She raised a brow with a smile. "I don't know what you're talking about." She said.

I walked closer to her. "I do not know what game you're playing but I promise you,it will soon be game over." I said and walked past her and I heard her chuckle. I knew she was up to something. Her sudden arrival in the pack house was enough to raise suspicions. I believed what she said were lies,I dunno how she did it but I knew they were all false accusations. Skye was blinded by his fury and vengeance that he couldn't see the truth.

I walked towards his room and knocked. There was no response and I knocked again.

"Come in." His gruffy voice said. I opened the door and saw him sitting on the bed and the moment he looked at me,I could see the naked pain in his eyes that he was trying to hide.

"Let out all your emotions already?" I asked him.

"What do you want Robin?" He asked me looking away.

"Don't you think you acted too fast when you threw Ava out of..." I began but he cut me short and gave me a deadly glare. "Enough. I have forbidden that conversation in this house." He said and I frowned at him.

"Look at you man,you look a mess." I said taking notice of his disheveled state.

"It's none of your business." He said,becoming egocentric. I wanted to forget the fact that he was the alpha and slap some senses into him.

"What if you find out she's innocent after all these? Do you think she'd accept you back after your distrust?" I asked him.

He laid on the bed pulling the covers over himself. "The moon has risen Robin. Goodnight." He said and I mentally slapped my forehead. "You're a lost case." I said and walked away.

Ava's POV

I walked down the stairs the next morning and the first person I laid eyes on was Fernandez. "Good morning. I sure believe you had a blissful night." He said with a smile.

"What are you doing here Fernandez?" I questioned him.

"What was discussed yesterday. I'm here for an answer." He said.

"And I repeat over my dead body." I said to him and he made a serious face.

"Look here,I'm not here to banter words with you. Step down or else.." He threatened.

"Or else what Fernandez?" I demanded getting pissed.

"You'd find out soon." He said as he walked towards the exit of the pack house.

How dare he come in here to threaten me? I fumed as he left. "Daniel!" I called out and he came rushing through the door after I called him two more times.

"Yes alpha." He said in respect.

"Gather the pack's warriors. I want to have a few words with them." I said and he nodded and hurried off.

I was weak because of the issues with Skye but I won't let Fernandez take the only fire I had away from me.

The warriors,uncle and I gathered in the training field to discuss about defending the pack just in case Fernandez attacks. Just then the sounds of screams echoed through the training field and the smell of petrol filtered into our nostrils.

"What's going on?" One of the pack member asked.

"We are about to find out." Uncle said and we rushed towards the pack house.

There Fernandez was with two others I didn't know. One had succeeded in circling the pack house with the petrol. "What are you doing Fernandez?" I asked in a panic voice. He held a lighter in his hand,already turned on. The pack warriors tried to move closer. "Anyone moves closed and I'll let go of this lighter and everyone in there burns." He said and they stopped.

I panicked as I heard bangs from inside. Luna stood at the window,tears streaming down her cheeks as her brother held her. "Help us!" Their screams echoed through my ears.

"What do you want Fernandez?" I asked in agitation and fear.

"Step down and make me alpha." He said. "If you refuse,I'll set everyone in there ablaze. Every part of the house is locked. There's no escape route for anyone in there." He said and the two others he brought stood at each side of the main house with lit lighters.

"Those are the families you've grown up with. Do you just want to wipe them away?" Uncle questioned.

"If Ava doesn't step down at the count of three then they all perish." He said without compassion or humanity left in him.

I stared at him as tears welled up my eyes. "One!" He yelled as his hand lowered. "Two!" His hand went more lower. I closed my eyes. Throughout the crescent history,leadership has never left the White's family but today it was beginning with me. The screams of everyone got louder as they banged harder.

"Three!" He yelled and dropped the lighter and the petrol went up in flames.

"I step down!" I yelled as I heard the window glass shatter and Luna screams. "Stop the fire,I step down my position has the alpha." I said as tears choked my voice as they cascaded down my cheeks.

Within a blink of an eye,the fire was off. Was it my imagination that there was a fire there? The lines of the fire burns were there. Then I saw his minions were the ones who stopped the fire before it could cause more damages. I rushed towards the door unlocking it and everyone rushed out. How he managed to lock everyone up in the house baffled me but I didn't have the time to think. My people's safety was more important than me.

Fernandez laughed so hard I turned to him. "You've got what you want,leave us." I said. He shook his head. "That's where you are wrong, Ava. You've stepped down and as the new alpha of the pack, I hereby banish you from crescent woods." He said and I stared at him in horror. "You can't do that." I said to him.

"Yes I can, beautiful," he said and then suddenly had a change of mind. "But if you still wanna stay in the pack, then you have to become my wife." He said.

"Over my dead body to be with a monster like you." I said through clenched teeth.

"Suit yourself but trust me,you'll come back begging me to take you." He said and I glared at him with hatred. "I should have had you killed instead of tampering justice with mercy." I said to him.

He chuckled. "Now that is your biggest mistake isn't it?" He asked indigenously. He turned to the pack. "Now bow before your new alpha." He said,authority ringing in his voice. They hesitated. "Bow or have your guts removed." He said and the two others he brought extracted knives from behind them and the pack cowered in fear and lowered to their knees as they bowed before him.

He stared at me like a psycho with a glint of evil in his eyes. Looking deep into his eyes,I could see something else but I paid no attention to it as my heart shattered again. Now I've lost the family I've known all my life and I forced myself to hold back the tears in my eyes.
