Skye's POV

I resisted the urge to meet with Ava last night after the mild argument we had that afternoon but seeing her this morning, her hair up in her usual ponytail and in those tight fitting black jeans and jacket, I couldn't resist her anymore. She was extremely beautiful each time I looked at her. I felt a burning desire in my heart that I couldn't explain.

Her lips were always inviting anytime I saw her. She had a way of keeping me mesmerized

She walked past the olive trees and delved deeper into the woods. I looked away from the window and walked out the door,an intent to follow her.

Getting outside the house, a cold wind blew past me and I realized the weather was still cold. In my haste to catch up with her,I had forgotten my jacket.

I walked through the snow,it was way too steep for human legs so I shifted into my wolf form. It was easier catching up with Ava this way. I caught a sniff of her scent in the air and in no time I found her by the lake that had already turned to ice.

She became aware of my presence and turned sharply towards my direction with those new sapphire crystal color of her eyes were mesmerizing,she was also in her wolf form.

Eros was excited to see her in her wolf form but I had to keep him under control. We were still mad about Fernandez's visit remember? I reminded him and he scoffed at me.

"Ugh,what's he doing here?" she said in her mind and I heard it. Our minds were now linked and connected to each other.

"I know what you're saying you know?" I said to her telepathically.

"That's impossible. You can't know what goes on in my head without me speaking," she replied.

"Of course I do," I said walking towards her. We've been married and share a connection,so definitely I can hear your thoughts and you can hear mine." I said to her.

She looked away. "He thinks he's always right." she scoffed. I grinned. "Of course, I'm always right," I said to her. We were still communicating telepathically.

"Uh? You heard me?" she asked.

"Yes," I replied simply.

"Then you should be able to hear this one. GO AWAY!" she said with a menacing look on her wolf face.

"How's that possible? Need I remind you that you're my wife and I have pledged my arm to always be by your side till death do us part." I said to her but she disagreed.

"Then it's very obvious that one of us has got to die." she hissed out.

Eros jumped on her unable to resist the urge of holding her wolf and it seems she was on the same page with him.

Ava's POV

I've always had Isla under my control but today was different. Her eyes twinkled in delight when Skye's wolf,Eros was on top of her.

"And it is quite clear that you don't want to,if not you wouldn't have married me," he said to me.

"Get off me, Skye," I said finally holding the reins of Isla and bringing her under my control.

"I'm afraid not my queen,I love this position of mine," he said with a devilish twinkle in his eyes.

"Why can't you just leave me alone?" I asked him and he growled.

"You make it hard to stay away from you Terra." He said.

"How?" I questioned.

"I think it weird to be discussing such in this position." He replied leaning into me.

"Get off me," I said defiantly.

"Alpha," I heard someone say. Skye got off me and I saw it was one of the pack members. "Someone is waiting for you," he said. I watched Skye have a blank expression on his face before walking away. Who was this visitor? I wondered. I walked to where I left clothes and shifted back to human. I wore my clothes and went back to the house.

Skye was going in too in his human form when I met him at the door. He winked at me and smirked. I frowned. "What a pervert," I said to myself mentally.

"I heard that." I heard his voice saying in my head. How do I stop him from listening to what I was thinking? I wondered and he chuckled.

Skye's POV

I walked into the house and saw Natasha standing by one of the paintings.

"Natasha?" I called out in surprise. She turned to me,her face full of smiles.

"Skye!" she said excitedly and jumped on me hugging me close.

"When did you get back?" I asked her.

"Not quite long baby." She said smiling. I looked over at Ava and she had a look of curiosity on her face. "I've missed you so much," she said kissing my lips.

I held her waist and from the corner of my eyes,I saw Ava looking away from us. Natasha pulled away. "Are you not happy to see me?" she asked pouting.

I held her closer with the intent of making my feisty wife jealous. She smiled and leaned in to kiss me more romantically and Ava coughed slightly which disrupted Nat.

I gave a small smile and turned away from Nat holding her at arms length.

"Yeah, and you are?" Nat asked eying her from head to toe.

Ava looked at me and then at her. "I should be asking you that." Ava retorted and a small smile tugged at the corners of my lips again. She was so feisty and would never back down for anyone.

"Well I am.." Nat began but I cut her short.

" Ava, this is Natasha my childhood friend and Nat,this is Ava...my wife." I introduced. I didn't want Nat to be the one to tell Ava about us. I would do that at my own pace.

Natasha stared at me in shock. I wondered what her surprise was. Was it the fact that I called her my childhood friend or the part I called Ava my wife? "Wife?" she questioned in disbelief. Then I knew it was the part I called Ava my wife and I also knew hell was about to let loose.
