Natasha's POV

My guess proved out to be right. Ava was back. I had followed Skye secretly wondering where he was headed to and now I've seen with my own eyes. I hit the steering wheel. Why was she always coming to ruin my plans, why?

Just when I'm able to convince Skye of babies and marriage, she sprouts from wherever goddamned place she came from, just to ruin it again. I screamed in anger as I kept hitting the steering in damnation.

I'll go see Fernandez and tell him this. He'd know what to do. And with that thought concluded in my mind, I reversed and took the lane that led to crescent woods.

Skye's POV

Ava White. I'd never for the rest of my life forget the impact that name gave my body.

It triggered my brain and hit to my very core and being. Images, those blurry images came in full force and I felt my head ache. It was like it was heavy. I watched her leave and felt like a part of me was too.

"Does it strike a memory?"I recalled her words and I wondered if she was trying to pass a message to me.

"I do not fear rejection." Her words came again. Did she know I had planned on rejecting her? But the moment I saw her and looked in her eyes, I had an immediate change of mind.

Ava, Ava. Where have I heard this name from? I tried to recall and it immed hit me. It was Natasha,accusing me of having an affair with Ava.

Just the other night I saw her with Robin and he had said he invited her.

Right now I was feeling lost. I felt like I was being kept in the dark. There's something Robin and Natasha know which they are not telling me and I believe it involves Ava White, my mate. I believe the three of them share a connection and I needed to find out.

Ava's POV

Anna and I walked into the house and Davina was seated comfortably on Robin's laps. It seemed like we interrupted a discussion.

"Mum!" Dahviel shrieked in joy and leaving his position with Camila, he came to me. I lowered myself and opened my arms and he leapt into them.

I lifted him up and he giggled. "Miss me uh?" I asked him with a smile as I kissed his forehead and he nodded.

"Good evening aunt Anna." He said shyly and buried his face on my shoulder. I chuckled.

Anna ruffled his hair. "Doing okay I see champ." She said and he nodded,his face still on my shoulder.

I let him down. "So,mum no longer gets hugs because of Robin I see." I said feigning a frown at Davina. She giggled and left the comfort of Robin.

"No mum," she said coming into my arms and I scooped her up.

"Who's mum's little angel?" I asked her with a tickle.

"Me!" She said giggling and I stopped as she placed her head on my shoulder.

"I love you mum." She said warming my heart.

"Mummy loves you too. A lot." I said and placed a kiss on her forehead and let her down and she went to her brother. Her little brother.

Robin chuckled. "I'm quite jealous of the affection y'all share." He said and I chuckled and plumped on a sofa feeling exhausted.

"Davina was quite engrossed with Robin's talks about her father." Camila said.

I raised a brow. "Really?" I asked and Davina nodded. "Godfather said dad's very brave." Davina said. That one time they both took out a bear together." Dahviel chirped in.

"And that's so awesome!" They both shrieked in excitement at the same time. This was something they were so fond of doing.

I smiled. "That's nice. Why don't you go to your room and inna few minutes,I'll call you down for supper. Is that alright?" I said and they nodded and mounted up the stairs.

Once they were out of earshot,I turned to Robin. "Bear uh?" I asked.

"It did happen and believe me I said not more than what they needed to know." He said and I sighed. "They only just want to know when they'll get to see him and I came up with something that will keep them quiet about Skye for a while." He said.

"And that is?" I asked in suspicion.

"He's away at some war and once he's back he'll see them." He said.

"That makes quite some sense." Anna said and I sighed.

"How did the search go?" Robin asked.

"Fruitless." I said in frustration.

"We didn't get to find her but that's not an issue. We've got bigger problems." Anna said.

"What's that?" Camila asked.

"Natasha saw Skye and the queen together. She knows she's back." Anna explained.

"How's that an issue?" Robin asked. "She'd find out sooner or later."

"We know how dubious Natasha can be. She is to see the queen but not now. With this done,she could be plotting a greater evil this time." Anna explained. "I thought it best to have proof of her atrocity before her seeing the queen." She said again.

"Don't worry yourself Anna. This time around,we'd be prepared for her." Robin assured. I sat down quiet as different thoughts went through my mind.

Natasha's POV

I got to crescent woods and found Fernandez as usual on his carved throne in the far end of the entrance of the living room.

I walked up to him. "I sense your troubled mind Natasha. Speak. Tell me what bothers you." He said.

"She's back. Ava is back." I said shuddering a little.

He said nothing but gave a cynical smile.

"This is serious Fernandez. I'm telling you that..." I began again but he interrupted me.

"I brought her back." He said and I stared at him in shock.

"What? Why?" I asked all at once.

"Because I have use of her." He said simply.

"You can't be serious. What use do you have of her? Do not tell me it's that outrageous marriage you want to enforce with her?" I inquired in anger.

He smirked. "Perhaps. You just wait and see." He said.

I raised my hands in exasperation. "You've being saying this for five years now. I'm tired of waiting. Tell what is going on in your head!" I yelled.

"Do not yell at me woman. Never again." He said in a calmness that portrayed anger and sent shivers down my spine.

"I'm sorry. I'm just worried." I said lowering my head.

"You're afraid her return will jeopardize your plans for Skye. Do not worry,soon she'd be out of your way. I have a plan to strike her in where she least expects and it's going to be a huge catastrophe." He said with that evil glint in his eyes that I believed he had something up his sleeves.

Robin's POV

I walked into the pack house and met Skye sitting with Natasha opposite him in the living room.

"Alpha." I said with a little bow in respect without acknowledging Natasha in the room.

"It's a good thing you're here Robin. I'ld like to discuss with you and Natasha." He said and I stared from him to Natasha who shrugged and looked away.

I walked closer to him wondering what he had in mind. "What is this about Skye?" I asked him.

"Please sit Robin. It is not a matter to be discussed while standing." He said to me and from the tone of his voice,it was a serious matter.

I took my seat at the other sofa away from Natasha and I looked at him as he closed his eyes and opened them again.

"Who's Ava White to the both of you?" He asked and I felt a shudder.

Natasha looked more stoned than me.

"I asked a question and I deserve an answer." He persisted.

"Ava is a friend of mine." I said to him.

"And since when have you become a friend of the enemy?" He questioned.

"And you Nat? Do you know Ava?" He asked turning to her.

"I do not know her." She lied blatantly.

"Five years ago you accused me of having an affair with her. If you don't know her,why did you come up with such accusation?" He questioned. We both stared at him.

I was worried. What do I think him? Should I tell him the truth?

He leaned back in the sofa. "It's very clear to me that the both of you have known her for so long and if none of you will tell me the truth,then I'll find out myself." He said and with that he stood to his feet and left.

Immediately he was gone,Natasha turned to me. "Whatever made Ava return? You better inform her that I'll never let her get close to Skye," she stood to her feet. "It will be over my dead body." She said vehemently.

I stood up equally too. "Then it shall be over your dead body Natasha." I said to her and she stared at me dead straight in the eye and I stood my ground neither did I flinch or waver.
