Chapter 83: Chapter 83

In the previous month!!

After the mess that Theodore had created in the Ever Green Pack, all the students returned to the pack until further notice. They were a big chance that they won’t be returning back here because a lot of doctors and professors were killed that night. Except for Liara, everyone took their belongings with them because they got time and a chance to do that while she just teleported from the pack with her injured father and injured brother.

The clear picture was that, except for students, all the older age people in the pack were targeted.

A lot of students were thankful that they survived, while a lot of them were wondering what to do next. What would happen to their career now? They really hope that the Werewolf King will do something in this matter.

A week had passed since that incident, but neither Liara nor anyone from her family returned to take her belongings. Little did anyone know, Theodore was waiting for that to happen so that he could reach Liara because he didn’t know where she was. Hell, they never talk much enough to know about each other. He wanted to kick his ass for that part because he didn’t try to know her and even acted like an unbreakable stone when she tried to know him.

‘That hurts!!’ Inigo complained when Theodore entered Liara’s floor through the window, and accidentally he ended up touching silver. Her whole floor had turned into a burner, and the only way that was open was the window from where she had jumped twice.

‘Sorry.’ Theodore apologized and took a deep breath to take a deep breath of Liara’s scent, but all he got was a smell of rotten flesh. He knew that was the dead body of Alpha Kane; even the remaining pack members had shifted to their loved ones and their relatives for a while, leaving him to rot alone.

Theodore reached her study table when she used to study till three or four in the morning and then slept over there.

Every part of her study room reminded him of the memories that they had spent together, either by eating food together or studying together. Someone really said it right ‘you never know how important something is until you lose it.’

“I’m sorry, Lia.” He said and touched her books, her love, and her best friend, for which she had run behind them. He really wanted her to come here to take those books with her.

Alaric had asked him a week before that why did he want Liara in his life except for the fact that she was still his mate? He didn’t know the answer to this question back then, but now he had an answer to that question.

Now that he had time to think about things other than revenge, murder, kill, and all other planning and plotting. He had got a lot of time to spend with himself, to analyze his feelings, It wasn’t that he was marked by her and having a hard time surviving without her and her wolf, but just like every night, he wanted to see her face. He wanted someone to open the door for him by saying, ‘I was waiting for you.’

He recalled how her eyes used to twinkle at his arrival.

For him, it was just a way to stay in the pack while she was living every moment. Now that he turned around then, he realized what he had lost.

Liara was a perfect mate material, a mate that had given him a vibe of a home. She never told him, but she always had her dinner with him after returning from the hospital. He went into her bedroom and opened her Almirah, to inhale something that would smell like her because he was going crazy without her.

Tears welled in his eyes when he saw his sweatshirt in it. The same sweatshirt that he had made her wear when she passed out in the forest when she was almost raped. It was still dirty and was hung on a hanger. He grabbed it and took a deep breath of it, bringing it close to his nose. It had a scent of both him and her.

‘She didn’t give in to the laundry because it has our smell. Only if we would have marked her, then she would have also smelled just like us. We had months to do that, but…’ Inigo mumbled because there was no way she would keep his sweatshirt with her clean clothes. Those words stung Theodore’s heart. Indeed, they spent a lot of nights together.
