“Where were you last night?”
“Just don’t start irritating me,” Theodore muttered and started drawing a picture of a dark night loaded with stars and moon. Alaric observed that picture and realized that it was the map. And the position of the stars was the position of CCTV.
Once Theodore was done with the drawing. He kept it with his other arts.
“That drawing is the map of…?” Alaric asked and received no response from Theodore. “You must understand, mate, that you can’t roam here and there at night. The security around us is too tight, so we can’t take any risks in a hurry. Our whole plan will fail if anything happens to you.”
Theodore removed the curtain, and Alaric quickly moved into the dark place. “I wish I could help you in other ways as well, except by masking your scent, but I can’t because I have to stay hidden in this room all the time,” he added.
“And that’s enough for me,” Theodore said. “I brought you in my luggage just to mask my scent. So, you’re helping me in that way.”
“Ah. Now that you have finally opened your mouth. Where were you last night?” Alaric asked to which Theodore hissed. “I should know where you were, Theodore. So that I wouldn’t get worried about you next time if you would do something like that again.”
“In D block girls hostel.” Theodore finally replied. “And I will have to stay there every night.” He added, on which Alaric smirked, knowing very well who stayed in that hostel building. “Don’t give me that look. She can kick us out from there. That’s why I have to spend time with her unwillingly.”
“Oh, okay! So, what did you two do last night?” Alaric asked, teasing him. Theodore glared at him for asking this stupid question. “I think I should sleep now.”
Theodore ignored his words and recalled how Liara’s body was burning in fire because of the heat when he left her. Hell, she was crying in pain in her sleep before she woke up.
He shook his head to throw that memory from his mind. She was in pain because of her own decision. Only if she didn’t decide to stay a virgin wouldn't this have happened to her.

“See, this is the CCTV recording of the washroom area.” Alpha Kane said, pointing toward the screen. “How the canteen head in charge killed that poor boy!!” Brandon and Calvin looked at the footage and the way it was taken; the face of Jarlen wasn’t clear, of course; he never used to show his face before hitting anymore. His face used to be covered with a mask and a hoodie.
“Alpha Calvin, your ex-beta, Jarlen Collin, killed the son of Alpha Liam Thompson.” He said; on which Calvin was about to say something when Brandon Haysbert, his father, held his hand, silently asking him to control his temper. “Not just that, he also tried to attack me.” Saying this, Alpha Kane showed him another CCTV footage where Jarlen tried to attack him but was ambushed by Alpha Kane’s warrior, killing him right then and there.
“This way or other. He had to die because Alpha Liam Thompson wouldn’t have left him alive after he killed his son, Luca Thompson.” Alpha Kane kept continuing, “I really hope that you will understand the reason behind my action now.”
