Chapter 268: Chapter 268
‘We need him by our side to teach Lestat a lesson.’ Inigo suggested. Theodore knew that Inigo was right, but where would he find him when he was hidden somewhere? At the same time, if he wanted to stay away from his father, then what was the chance he would help Theodore when he would have to come face to face with Lestat?
Now that Lestat knew that Liara was pregnant. He would attack them at their weakest point. He hated how he was powerless in front of him. If Liara wouldn’t have there, then he would have been dead by now. He was thinking that he had to protect Liara, but she was the one who protected him.
He recalled a ring on his ring finger. Every wizard or witch needed some ornaments to channel and store their power. Caroline had a necklace; maybe he had that ring.
It wasn’t that they couldn’t use their power without them, but without it, they became weak.
Lestat’s last words rang in his ear, and he fumed in anger. It was clear that the next time, he wouldn’t be alone, and whenever that next time would be, it would be within three months of Liara’s pregnancy. He looked at Liara, who was sleeping, and her heartbeat was normal.
He recalled her blue eyes, blue eyes like Selene.
‘Is she Moon Goddess already?’
‘I doubt that. Maybe a small amount of power of her.’
‘What a coincidence! I realize tonight that she is pregnant with Griffin, and on the same night, she has some amount of power.’
*
Earlier that night!!
Liara found herself on Mount Olympus. The place where god used to stay. The place where Elite Academy was. The place where Elite hospital was. After all, the sky was blue, covered with beautiful clouds. All the things around her were unrealistic.
But she didn’t remember coming here for any reason. The last thing that she remembered was meeting Caroline, and once she masked the heartbeat of her pup along with his scent. She went to bed to sleep.
‘Maybe I came here in sleep.’ With that thought, she decided to leave, but then she wasn’t wearing any rings. She was wearing white clothes, and her hair was completely white, unlike red.
“Am I dead?” She questioned herself when she realized she was in her soul form.
“No. You’re not.” She heard and found the owner of the voice. She bowed her head in respect when she recognized him. Helios, Selene’s brother. He was a guardian of oaths and also the god of sight. He was the god and personification of the Sun.
“Formality is not required, Liara!!” he said with a smile, on which Liara lifted her head and looked at him. She wondered why Gods were crafted so beautifully.
No wonder handsome men were given a compliment about looking like a Greek god.
“I know I’m handsome, but you’re like a sister to me.” He pointed out on which Liara’s eyes widened.
“No! No! I wasn’t staring at you in the wrong way.” Liara clarified. “I have a mate.” She added, blushing slightly.
“Is someone injured?” She asked, changing the topic and wondering why she was called her. But then, as a soul, she couldn’t heal anyone.
“You know that you can’t use your power in this form.” He chuckled, on which Liara wanted to slam her head with a pillar or wanted to teleport somewhere to escape this embarrassment. “I have called you here to talk with you.” He said to which she nodded her head.
“Come! Walk with me.” He suggested, showing his hand, and a path appeared in the direction where he pointed to walk. Liara agreed and started walking side by side with him. “Congratulation on entering into a new phase of your life.” He spoke with a smile.
“Thank you!!”
“Nervous and scared?”
