Chapter 267: Chapter 267

“I will be back to claim what is mine, future Moon Goddess!!” Lestat hissed before disappearing from there. It looked as if he was out of energy and wasn’t sure if he could able to stand against Liara for long, not when she looked furious.

“Odo!! Odo!!” Liara looked at her mate, who was covered with blood. His heartbeat was fading. She knew even when his heart would stop pounding; then he wouldn’t die officially, just turn into a pure vampire. Long story short, she would lose Inigo. Theodore opened his eyes and smiled weakly. But his next words broke her into tears.

“You okay?”

He was the one who was almost dead. He was the one who was covered with blood, and he was asking her whether she was okay. She nodded her head and cried at the same time. She didn’t care to wipe her tear and act strong because her emotions were the key to her power.

A strong person wasn't one who never cried. A strong person was one who cried and shed tears for a moment, then got up and fought again.

She closed her eyes and focused on her power to heal Theodore. In the second, white light oozing out of her hand, she channeled her power to heal him. She couldn’t lose Inigo. She smiled when finally his heartbeat started getting stronger with each passing second, but along with that, she started feeling weak and drowsy after absorbing the pain of Theodore’s body.

“Lia, NO!!” Theodore stopped her, but she did what she wanted to until he was completely fine. She finally opened her eyes, and this time it was back to her green eyes, unlike blue. “You have sworn not to listen to me, haven’t you?” He scolded her and saw her giving him a weak smile.

“Lia!! Fuck!!” He cursed and stood up on his feet to pick her up.

“I was planning for a surprise to tell you this.” She mumbled, wrapping her hands around his neck. “But looks like this is not my thing. That man ruined my plan,” She frowned before adding. “Odo!! We are…” She yawned, feeling sleepy. By then, they were already in their room, thanks to his vampire speed.

“We are pregnant,” She whispered and couldn’t keep her eyes open to see his reaction. Theodore laid her down on the bed and quickly placed his hand on her stomach.

She wolf shouldn’t shift at the time of her pregnancy, but Liara did. The power of her ring didn’t work inside the Black Council, so it was clear that she shifted to reach near him. Even though it was for a while but she shouldn’t have done that. It might cost Griffin’s life.

He sighed in relief when Griffin moved on his own. It looked like he had already smelled his father's fear.

“If you’re anywhere like me, then you can listen to me even when you’re inside.” He spoke before adding. “If you’re all right, then move twice, and if something is wrong with you and I have to take your mother to the hospital, then don’t move at all,” Theodore spoke. He smiled at Griffin’s response, who moved twice before silently hiding in her mother’s womb.

Theodore wasn’t hundred percent sure, but he felt that Griffin was going to be a Lycan, and in case he would come into this world at the time when Liara would be Moon Goddess, then he would be powerful, more powerful than his father.

Theodore stayed beside her and felt useless recalling all the events that had happened tonight. His strength has no match against his magic, dark magic, to be exact. He recalled the conversation between Liara and her cousin’s cousin, Scarlett.

“I wanted you to know more about that man who holds the power of the wizard in his blood,” Liara asked.

“I don’t know much about him except for the part that he is the firstborn of Lestat and is equally or stronger than his father. He is famous because Lestat wants that boy by his side, but he had to do nothing with his father.”

“So, he is a good person?”

“I don’t know,” Scarlett replied, shrugging her shoulder. “All I know is that he doesn’t use his magic because it is connected to Lestat. The moment he would use it, Lestat will find him.”
