Chapter 252: Chapter 252

Liara was now getting worried for Theodore because it was the third day since he wasn’t home. She wanted to short their issue the day the return arrived from Tiara’s place, but she came to know that Theodore didn’t tell anyone where he was going for work and didn’t return home the night when she wasn’t there. She received a message from Tiara the next day that she had forgiven Theodore for whatever had happened in the past.

‘Mom once told us, ‘Forgive others not because they deserve forgiveness, but because you deserve peace.’ That’s why I’m closing that chapter of my life for once and for all.’

Liara mind linked Theodore to tell him about Liara’s words, but he blocked her after telling her that he wanted to stay alone.

She didn’t disturb him again and respected his privacy if he didn’t want to share something at that moment, but now, she was having a hard time composing her calmness.

‘Now enough of your ALONE time, Odo!! If I don’t find you at home tonight after my work, then I will be there where you’re, and you know I can do that.’ She mind-linked him and heard no response from him in return.

As much as she wanted to run near him at the same time, but her patients needed her attention, and after her work, she was handling Theodore’s work as well as he was currently handling in the Black Council, like the building of the school building and the quarters of staffs that were working in the hospital.

In fact, a couple of them had already shifted to the Black Council for their work.

Liara had to make sure about their security along with their requirements. She realized that there must be a small market in the Black Council so that outsiders could buy necessary things from there.

She was sure that one day, the place where she was staying would be no less than a pack full of all types of facilities that one could ever think of.

One day.

And that changes had already begun because now a couple of packs, just a couple of packs, had stopped taking Black Council as threatened after visiting at her hospital a couple of times.

“Doc, these are the files of the patient that is referred to you from other pack doctors.” Olivia, Liara’s assistant, spoke, showing her thirteen files.

Liara held her head because she wanted to get free from her work as soon as possible.

“Hmm. What is the update on the hiring of new doctors and nurses?” Liara asked because, day by day, the number of patients was increasing. In this way, she would be surprised when the patient would have to make an appointment before consulting her.

She recalled how the number of patients was almost NIL in the beginning.

“We are facing a problem in that. They want to work with you, but the place where this hospital is, they don’t want to join.” Olivia responded, who had recently shifted to the black council. “But don’t worry, this won’t be a big issue after a couple of months.”

Liara nodded her head and picked the file on the top.

“Ethlyn Smith.” She read the name of the patient and started reading her file. The patient was in a coma for more than four years; in fact, she would complete five years soon. Liara read her case and all the treatment through which she had been gone through.

At last, she checked the pack from which Ethlyn Smith was, Wind Winder Pack. Ranked werewolves of that pack were considered as fastest werewolves among all.

“Send a mail to Doctor Ratna about approving this patient.” She muttered, passing that file to Olivia, on which she nodded her head. Out of thirteen files, Liara confirmed the file of six patients and referred the rest to the other doctors that she knew.

“Why are you transferring the rest of the patients?” Olivia asked, knowing that Liara could handle those cases as well.

“I can’t risk anyone’s life when I know that I can’t handle everyone’s case at once because I need to rest as well. That’s why new recruitment is important.” Liara replied. Her colleagues were already helping her by working in her hospital in their free time, at least for an hour or two. But Liara needed permanent staff.
