After working for hours!! She took a break for her lunch, but the moment she tasted it, she wanted to throw up. It was her favorite spaghetti and meatballs that she brought from the human world. She wanted to be sure what was wrong with the flavor, but all of a sudden, she didn’t want to eat it anymore. She couldn’t blame someone for mixing something in her food because she herself bought it and was there when it was getting prepared at the stall where the owner was preparing it for her.

That day she couldn’t eat anything and had started feeling uneasy from the moment her nose hit the smell of the food.

She packed the remaining food and thought to share it with the pups instead of wasting it before leaving the hospital at night after checking on the patients who were still admitted there.

“Hey, everyone!!” She greeted them when she found them still playing at night. Most of them were now her friends except Ezra and his small gang. Well, like father, like son. Even Ethan and his gang didn't like her.

“Lee!! Liara!! Lee!!” They came running near her.

"Settle down, everyone!! I have something for you all. If you will like it.” Liara said, and everyone started fighting to sit in front so that whatever she had with her, they would receive it first. “And those who are fighting won’t get anything.” She added. “Come on!! Behave like a good pup.”

Once everyone settled down, Liara fed spaghetti and meatballs with her own hand because she knew that if she would ask them to eat on their own, they would start fighting like an animal again.

“It’s tasty.”

“I like it.”

“Me too.”

“Okay!! One shouldn’t speak while chewing.” Liara said sternly and fed each one of them one by one, recalling how Sophia used to feed her when she used to be busy with her studies.

She promised to bring a lot of spaghetti and meatballs for them when they got upset with the quantity as they barely got a chance to eat it twice.

“What was that?” Edolie asked Liara when they met in the middle of the field. “ The smell of that thing was amazing.” She added, licking her lips.

“Really?” Liara asked, recalling how uneasy she was feeling with its smell.

“Yes!! Whatever it was, bring it for me too.” Liara chucked before nodding her head.

“Is Theo home?”

“No.”

In the next second, she teleported herself to the place where Theodore was with Moana, of course. But Moana’s breath sucked when they reached a place full of vampires. They both should sense them, and they were positive that soon vampires would be there by sensing them.

‘Now I think I should have listened to you when you asked to stay there.’ Moana mind-linked Liara. When Liara was about to leave alone, Moana followed her, reminding them that her security was her duty. Now Moana felt that she should have let them sort their issue on their own rather than coming here and staying between vampires.

‘He is around. So, don’t worry.’ Liara responded, calming her body, and grabbed Moana’s wrist before following Theodore’s scent.
