“Nothing. Just a little acting and a small harmless lie.” Liara replied.

“I saw that. But when did you learn that? And I didn’t even understand anything.”

“Well, I don’t need to learn. I’m Tiara’s sister.” She said nonchalantly and immediately realized what she ended up speaking. They had never raised the topic of Tiara from the day they were together. Neither of them had talked about her until now. Liara looked at Theodore with a look that confused him more. “I’m sorry for raising her topic. Not after what she did to you.”

‘What is she speaking?’ Inigo asked, not able to understand what Tiara didn’t to them.

“What do you mean? What did she do to me?” Theodore questioned.

“I know you didn’t tell me the truth about you rejecting her. I know the whole truth, Theo. Tee told me how she rejected you because she didn’t want a loser like you.” Liara’s jaw tightened, recalling all those words that she had told Liara over the phone call while Theodore couldn’t understand why she was thinking that Tiara rejected him but not him.

He had told her that he had rejected Tiara, on which she was super duper pissed at him for hurting her sister, and tonight, he could see the same anger surfacing on her face when she was saying this part. His heartbeats increased when he guessed that maybe… maybe Liara was with him because of some misunderstanding.

A misunderstanding that it wasn’t Tiara who rejected him, but he was the one.

“And who said you this?”

“Tee herself!!” Liara muttered. “She shouldn’t have done that with you. She should have given some time to her relationship with you. But like a coward, she chose the easiest way and rejected you.” Theodore felt a tight slap on his face hearing her words. He knew that those words should have been for him, not for Tiara. At the moment, he wanted to do nothing but reach near Tiara and slap her hard for creating this misunderstanding between them.

Hell, he could have handled Liara’s anger at that moment, but now… he wasn’t sure that he could handle Liara’s anger or hatred for hurting her sister.

Theodore opened his mouth to tell her the truth, but he shut it quickly, thinking about the worst case. He didn’t want to lose Liara. But it was between Tiara and him. What if Liara would never come to know about it?

It was obvious that he wouldn’t tell her the truth, and neither do Tiara, right?

She wouldn’t have told her the lie in the first place if she had told her the truth. His mind wasn’t able to wrap up this news. He wondered why Tiara did this.

Was she done to help him because she was positive that Liara wouldn’t want him after what he did with her?

Or

She had some hidden motive behind it.

He could kill her for sure if she would plan anything like that. If he would lose his Liara because of Tiara's planning and plotting that he swore on the lady up above, he would make Tiara’s life upside down.

“Lee!!” A voice stopped them. The moment Liara was about to hop inside the car. Liara’s legs halted, and Theodore recalled that he had to deal with something else too. Liara looked at her father, who followed them till outside.

“Colton needed Sophia urgently. So, she had to leave with Caro in a hurry.” Brandon spoke. He wanted Artemis to go and inform about it to Liara to avoid any confusion, but he disappeared, giving the excuse of the washroom. Brandon knew if he would have waited for Artemis, then he would have missed meeting Liara.

“Oh!!” Liara nodded her head, understanding the situation, but she didn’t take a step toward him to hug him or something. She was scared that he would reject any advance from her end. She looked at him, expecting him to speak something but nothing, not a word, came out of Brandon’s mouth. She believed it was a clue to leave from there. “Thank you for clearing this, da….” She didn’t complete the word and hopped inside the car. Theodore didn’t follow her and closed the door of the car.

‘I will see you in the suite. I have to take care of the paparazzi by erasing their memories.’ He mind linked, and in the next second, the car moved from there. ‘Escape with the help of a ring in case of any danger.’ he added next and looked at Brandon who was looking at the car in which Liara left.
