Little did anyone know, Liara could sense positive and negative energy even when a person was doing nothing. She never thought Ethan was a bad person, but whatever he was, he was upfront and didn't have a double face. There were some people who were in good books in everyone’s eyes but were against both Ambrose and Theodore.

She had kept her mouth because she wanted to give them a chance to change.

“Okay, Alpha! Sure, Alph..”

“No need to call me ‘Alpha.’ Call me by my name. I’m not asking anyone to take the oath because I want to rule on you, but it will make our life easier as everyone can mind linking each other in case of any emergency.” Ambrose spoke before turning toward Liara. “Take Edolie with you when you will be going to the hospital.”

“Sure, Uncle. I will be leaving in the next half an hour.” She said and smiled at Edolie, who was worried for Moana.

Once everyone left from there in search of a tree, Liara looked at that particular house at the corner of the ground.

“Is that ours?” She whispered in a low tone, and excitement was clear on her face.

“No. I’m also going to choose a tree.” Hearing this, she pouted. She didn’t want to complain, but she couldn’t live fully like a street animal or wild animal. “Don’t make that face. Of course, that’s ours.”

A big curve appeared on her face, and her eyes shined.

“Now, just close your eyes.”

“But why?”

“Because it’s a surprise.”

“But I can see it.”

“LIARA.”

“Okay, fine!!” Liara quickly closed her eyes. Carrying her in his arms, Theodore reached the entrance in a blink. He put her down to open the door.

“Can I open them?”

“No, No, Not yet!!” Opening the door, he held both her hands and helped her in walking inside. After making her walk for a while, he left her hand to remove the curtain from the window and opened the back door.

“Can I open them now?”

“Okay. Now.” With that, Liara opened her eyes, hoping to see her little home, but she gasped when her eyes landed on the library. She wasn’t sure whether he had watched beauty and the beast or not but the setup in the same way. She didn’t have such a big library, even at her father’s house.

“I can’t believe it. You have made a collection of all the books that I have read in my whole life. Wait… there are new books in the collections too.” She said, looking at all the books. Because of her powerful eyesight, she could see things even when they were very far away from her eyes.

“Yeah!! Well, even I inbuild a habit of reading books in my free time.” Theodore said, shrugging his shoulder. “Soooo… you like it?” He asked.

“Oh! It’s wonderful.” She mimicked Belle’s line, looking around the library.

“Then, it's yours.”

“You watched Beauty and the Beast, didn’t you?”

“No!”

Liara ran toward him and jumped in his arms. “Admit it, Odo. You planned everything in the same way.” She teased.

“Okay. Fine! But don’t tease me.” He grumbled, inhaling her deep scent. “Come, I will show you the rest of our house.” He muttered, breaking the hug. Half of their home was covered by the library, and except that, there were only two well-furnished rooms, among which the biggest one belonged to them. Theodore wanted to keep only one room, but it was Caroline's suggestion to build at least two bedrooms in case some uninvited guests appeared at their doorsteps.

The house had ample space to build new rooms if needed just in case of their pup or pups, but at that moment, it had only two bedrooms, a medium size but lavish kitchen, and a big hall from where at least two more rooms could be built in the future.

“How’s it?”

“I’m no words for it.”

“Is this that bad?”

“Nooo… Noo!! Of course not. It’s everything that I wished for.”

“You can make changes because, as per your sister, she has left a lot of options open which can be done in this home,” Theodore told her.

“For now. This is enough.” Liara muttered, wrapping her hand around his waist.

“Go and get ready for the hospital. There is a couple of dresses for you in our closet.” Theodore said, checking the time.

“Wait! What? Really?” She exclaimed like a child, pulling herself from him and looking into his eyes, “When did you purchase them?”

“When we were staying away from each other,” Theodore muttered, creasing her cheek. “Whenever I liked something for you. I used to buy them with the hope of gifting you someday.” Happy tears dwelled in Liara’s eyes hearing this, and she lunged at him, slamming her lips against her.
