Chapter 214: Chapter 214

She growled and jumped on one of the vampires, ripping his head in one go. Now she was glad that Theodore asked her to stay here because someone was required to handle this area as well. Liara watched a vampire using his power on her, but it didn’t work on her; she didn’t waste a second and jumped on him, ripping his heart apart.

She wasn’t the same weak nerd Liara who didn’t know anything except studying. She had trained hard for at least an hour for the last two years. She might not be a warrior, but she wasn’t a dismal in distress, either.

She heard someone else’s growl and watched Grandma Odette join the war by attacking the vampire who was about to attack Liara from behind. Soon, Mateo and Rowan joined the war, fighting together with the attack.

‘Watch out.’ Liara cried in horror when a vampire attacked Rowan instead of growling like a wolf, and immediately he moved away, and Mateo killed that vampire. Rowan looked at Liara in his wolf form.

‘Did you just mind link me?’ He asked in surprise or shock.

‘I did?’ Liara questioned in surprise.

‘Yes. But how is that possible?’ Rowan asked something which even Liara didn’t know. They didn’t get time to discuss this further because they had to handle the vampires. For some reason, the vampire’s power wasn’t working on her and that lady, so whenever they used to torture Rowan, Mateo, or Grandma Odette, Liara used to kill them.

She whimpered in pain when one of the vampires stabbed at her hind leg.

‘Lia? Where the hell are you?’ Theodore roared in her mind. Liara blocked him to avoid his anger. It was obvious that he would have sensed her in pain.

Liara didn’t know whether it was going to work or not, but she wanted to try. If she could mind link Rowan, and maybe she could mind link someone else too? She tried to mind-link Ethan, who always created problems in the Black Council. But at the same time, he had a lot of blind followers.

‘Who are you?’ He growled in his mind when someone forcefully entered his mind, but his wolf was forced to submit when he sensed Destiny’s aura. ‘Moon Goddess?’ He questioned, watching the white wolf in awe.

‘No. Ethan. I’m Destiny, Theodore’s mate. I need your and your friend’s help in the south because a lot of vampires have attacked us.

‘Your mate killed my brother, Elijah.’ Ethan growled at her in anger.

‘Can you please keep that part aside and help me? Please!!’ Destiny asked politely, knowing very well that where power stopped working, their love always worked. Ethan was sure that Destiny was strong enough to dominate him. Still, she was requesting him.

‘Fine.’ Ethan agreed. Destiny closed the mind link and again focused on the fight. She mentally thanked herself for calling for help.

This was Liara’s first official fight, and she felt she was doing good. But the only problem was that she couldn’t see this fight going anywhere because the number of vampires was increasing again. It was clear that they had mind-linked one another about this territory, or maybe there were really huge numbers because if the vampires were coming from another direction, then the werewolves fighting in the other direction would have reached here. The more they killed the vampire, the more they were arriving.

In the next couple of minutes, Ethan and his followers joined the fight. They attacked the vampires like trained warriors and without any mercy by taking them down one by one.

Liara was surprised by their strength, but then, they were rogues, they had the fight to live throughout their life, and only the strongest could survive.

Liara shifted, not caring about being naked in front of others, and started healing those who got injured. They were limited in numbers, so she made sure that no one of her people would lose their lives.

The werewolves fighting with the vampires soon realized that the vampires were targeting Liara, not them. Ethan and his wolves soon stopped helping Liara after all; it wasn’t their problem now. Moreover, what could be a better way to take revenge on Theodore?

They were not fools to harm her on their own, but nothing could go wrong by not helping her at all.

‘Ethan? Lucas? William?’ She mind-linked a couple of them and watched how they backed out after she healed them. Ethan still couldn’t understand how the hell she was able to mind linked any of them. ‘Thank you for your help even though it was for a while.’ She added, shifting back into her wolf form to fight with the vampires as much as she could.

All of a sudden, a portal opened, and a lot of wolves joined the fight. Liara quickly recognized the smell of a couple of scents. Wolves of White Claw Pack joined the war, a pack which was known by the name of White Blood Moon Pack before, a pack of Werewolf King himself.

‘Stay back!!’ Steve Weasley mind-linked everyone. The king didn’t need a bond to mind link anyone, and in the next moment, there was fire all around the vampires who were in bulk, who screamed and cried in pain before turning into ashes.
