Chapter 213: Chapter 213

“In the bunker. NOW.” Ambrose growled loudly; it was a clear indication that those who didn’t want to join the fight were free to hide. “Mother, Rowan, and Mateo find the pups can make sure that nothing will happen to them,” he ordered and looked at Liara, who was looking at him. He wasn’t sure that she was of any use during the war. It would be better if she would go and hide in the bunker.

And the fact that Edolie wasn’t here had given him a given relief that he could fight with those bloodsuckers without any tension.

At the same time, Liara was looking at him, hoping for him to assign some work to her as well.

“Lia, Take care of yourself and others. I will be back soon.” Theodore said, on which she frowned. Why was he talking like this as if she wasn’t joining the war with him?

“Don’t worry.”

“I hope you understood my words that you have to stay he….”

“No, Theo!! I’m coming with you all.” Liara said, cutting him in between when she watched more than half of the werewolves shifting and running behind the vampire who came there to inform Theodore about the attack.

“NOOOO!!” He yelled, scaring her and making her jump a little. Inigo took control of his body which was glaring at her too. It looked like they shared the same point of view. “You stay here. No need to interfere in the attack. I will handle it.”

“Why? I’m not weak. You need to stop treating me like a princess who needs protection all the time.”

“Then how should I treat you? You’re getting treated in this way because you’re a fucking princess, not a warrior. Don’t forget that everyone here is trying to protect you. Now, no more discussion, and stay here.” Tears dwelled in Liara’s eyes, hearing his words. She had told him how she felt bad when others made fun of her by telling her ‘PRINCESS,’ who was always protected by her brothers and father. When she walked out of their shadow, she really tried her best not to be called by that nickname again by making herself strong enough to protect herself, but it looked like people would always treat her as a doll made of glass and dismal in distress.

Theodore cursed mentally when he realized that he had ended up hurting her. “Sorry, Lia.” He apologized, cupping her face. “I just want to keep you safe. That’s why you will stay, and don’t you dare go against my decision.” He warned before leaving from there.

Destiny growled in her mind at her mate’s decision. They didn’t want to stay here doing nothing. They could help everyone by both fighting against those vampires and healing those who were on Theodore’s side.

She stood there in the middle of the field, battling with her own thoughts and emotions while those who didn’t join the pack had already left from there to hide. Odette Wayne, Rowan Wayne, and Mateo Wayne started looking for the pups and bringing them from the nearby forest one by one.

‘Everyone is assigned to some work, except us.’ Destiny growled in anger and sensed vampires from the south. ‘Ah. Seems like we got something to do.’ She said in an excited tone.

“Grandma Odette!! Are all the pups inside?” She asked, looking at the golden wolf who was running toward the bunker holding two pups between her teeth.

She shook her head.

“Okay!!” Liara nodded and thought about finding the pups as soon as possible by helping Ambrose’s cousins. She shifted into her wolf form, giving control to Destiny, who took a deep breath, searched for the pups, and found them. Before fighting with the vampires, she needed to make sure of the safety of all the pups’ safety.

All four of them worked together and got everyone back to the bunker, but still, vampires didn’t reach there through the southern territory yet.

Liara wanted to go and check what exactly was happening there, but her path was blocked by Mateo, who growled at her to return to the bunker but Destiny growled back at him, scaring the shit out of him with her aura, and then ran into the south.

She halted before entering inside, recalling the past incident, and after a moment, she ran at full speed, crossing that land. Thankfully, nothing happened to her. The closer she went toward the area, the clear her visions and listening power were getting, and soon, she spotted them fighting with a lady who was fighting like a pro with approx ten vampires with a whip in her hand. It was glowing even in the dark, which made her realize that it surely had silver in it.

Liara’s eyes darkened when more than fifty vampires appeared from the other direction. It was clear that they were less in numbers earlier, but after finding that this was the weak territory, they ran from another direction to here.
