When Theodore reached the Black Council, he found that most of the people were in panic mode. He didn’t care why they were panicking, all he cared for was one person who had blocked him from mind-linking, and the part that he couldn’t sense her was making him crazy.

“Where is my mate?” He roared loudly, making everyone still at their place. He had felt someone hitting his head before and a kick in the stomach. The pain wasn’t his but was Liara’s. He tried to connect with her multiple time but failed.

“We’re also searching for her.” Edolie Wayne replied. From the moment she came to know from pups that Liara disappeared in search of Lucy, everyone started searching for her, willing or unwilling, because no one wanted to face Theodore’s wrath. “Both the guards in the east direction are dead, and Derik and Moana are also missing, along with Liara and Lucy!!”

[Theodore: Is Lia with you?] He asked, knowing Liara might have found him keeping an eye on her and anything, and both brother and sister were spending quality time together.

[Colton: Didn’t I tell you that I won’t be present there today? I had some other work. And what do you mean by that question? Is Lee not with you?]

Theodore texted him about the current situation, and Colton asked about Delilah, who was still there in the forest.

[Delihah: I killed those two mutts because they were trying to rape a girl of barely five years old. Maybe she is a werewolf too, but I couldn’t stand that. And that girl is with me for safety purposes.]

[Colton: Did you kill anyone else?]

[Delilah: No, boss!! I’m busy consoling that girl who has been scared and crying since then.] As much as Colton wanted to scold her for not keeping an eye on Liara, he knew what Delilah did was also important, in fact, very important.

“Help yourself, Old man!!” Theodore said before asking Moana, “Where is my mate?”

“I… I don’t know. Derik and I came here to search for her and got stuck here.” Moana lied smoothly, knowing that no one could sense her lie or change in her heartbeat here. Theodore didn’t wait there a second and tried to use his power to sense Liara but couldn’t.

But something caught his nose. Her blood. His favorite drink. He followed it, checking the ground, and found that stick which had a small amount of Liara’s blood on it. He could imagine how someone who has hit her on her head.

Theodore wasn’t fooled to understand that someone was none other than Moana, but for now, he had to find his mate before dealing with that bitch because, at that moment, he was scared, a feeling that only Liara was capable of making him feel so.

‘Lia’ He mind linked her and looked around but couldn’t find her. He knew that she was down there, struggling to breathe. ‘Hey, lady!! You didn’t give her power to let her die this soon, did you?’ He growled in his mind, complaining to Moon Goddess after years.

And immediately, something happened. He didn’t know how, but he could sense her smell now.

‘Really? She heard my complaint.’ He thought and ran to the place from where Liara’s faint scent was coming, and the next strange part was the soil around that place was not wet anymore. He could stand there without any problem.
