Elijah couldn’t complete his sentence when Theodore reached near him in a flash, and his claw was in his chest, holding his heart. In the next second, his heart was fucking out of his body. Not a single person opened their mouth when it happened except Liara; she gasped in horror.

How could he kill anyone just like that?

This wasn’t done.

This was unfair.

“Those who supported him, they can leave before I do the same with you all,” Theodore said, looking at the rogue, who was looking at him in anger and hatred but was silent. He had controlled his temper enough, but not anymore. He knew he wasn’t a sweetheart to win everyone’s heart, but he almost did to make everyone feel at home, feel safe and manage to get food for them so that they wouldn’t go around attacking random and innocent people. Hell, he even ignored that they tried to kill him so that he could show them where they stood in front of him, but now the water was above his nose.

“No one is going anywhere!!” Liara said when she saw a group of people start leaving.

“LIARA!!” Theodore warned her. She was planning to feed snakes that would bite her hand one day, but Liara ignored him. She didn’t approve of it. She didn’t agree with it. A pack couldn’t be formed in this dictatorship. They would have to respect their leader with heart, not with fear.

“Your friend was right.” Liara felt bad for Elijah, who had died on the spot a minute before. “This is your home, and you shouldn’t leave your home. And he won’t ask you to do that again.” She assured not which Theodore furrowed his eyebrow, not liking the fact that she was going against him.

“How can you say so? Does he obey your every word?”

“I can tell this because….” She paused to speak. Theodore was expecting her not to tell everyone how he was a lovesick puppy in front of everyone and would listen to her words. “...next time, he will kill you and bury you in the ground you call home but won’t ask you to leave.”

While Liara’s words shocked everyone, Theodore felt proud of her; he had left him speechless.

“Please don’t take my words as a threat. It’s just that I know my mate better than you do.” She said with a smile on her face. “Ah. I forgot to introduce myself in all this mess. I’m Doctor Liara Wayne.”

“A doctor?”

“You aren’t a rogue?”

“She doesn’t look like one, though.”

‘What should I tell them?’ Liara mind-linked Theodore.

‘The truth.’ He responded because there was no meaning in hiding this truth, as even a fool could understand that by watching her living style.

“I’m a rogue as I’m marked and marted with a rogue. The only thing that makes me different from you because I’m educated. I have completed my studies at The Elite Academy, the academy which is run by….”

“God themselves!!” She was cut in between by the same old man who was called as Theodore’s uncle. “Ambrose Wayne.” He introduced himself, on which Liara bowed her head in respect before speaking.

“Hello, Uncle Ambrose!!” She greeted him with respect, something that rogues never do.

“We need to talk.” He said sternly, looking at Theodore. Liara felt that not just did this family treat him like his own but also held power there. Also, if he were Wayne, then they would be Alpha blood too, just like the mate of Mate of Theodore’s mother, Griffin Wayne.

“Dad…” Moana reached Ambrose and hugged him. “She growled at me and made me fall on the ground.” She added in an accusing tone. Liara raised her eyebrow when she realized that Moana was one of the bitch who acted like an innocent puppy in front of their owner.

“If you will touch her mate in front of her, then she is not going to worship you, is she?” Ambrose questioned his daughter, knowing very well that how much she was interested in Theodore even though she knew that he was marked and mated, but then, all he could do was warn her to stop dreaming about him. It was clear from day one that Theodore wasn’t interested in her, not even a percent.

“I’m surprised that she just growled at you. If someone will have thought of touching what is mine, I will have torn it into pieces.” He said in an Alpha tone, warning her not to behave like a slut.
