Chapter 176: Chapter 176
“This area is where dwarfs are trained.” Liara showed to Theodore when he looked at the small little human of child size. “They are principally famous for their skill in all kinds of metalwork and the forging of magical swords and rings, but they are also credited with profound wisdom and secret knowledge, having the power to foresee the future, assume other forms, and make themselves invisible. On the top, they are very hardworking.”
“I can see that,” Theodore muttered. “Magical swords and rings, huh?”
“Yes!! For the god and goddess or Knights. Sometimes those swords or rings themselves chose their owner.” Liara explained.
“Just like your brother’s ring?” Theodore asked.
“Yes!! It was made for the first supernatural hunter to kill all the supernatural creatures.” Liara responded. “Come on, let’s check out their work. Those are not for sale, though.” She said, dragging him with her. Theodore was exploring all the areas of the Academy where most of the types of creatures used to study. From Mermaid to dragons. There was no way a human could take a tour of their place in a day. On the top, everything around looked the same one who gets lost easily.
“Congratulation, Doctor Wayne.” Happy, one of the dwarfs reached near her. “I heard about Moon Goddess blessing you a couple of days before.”
“Thank you, Happy!! How’s your work going on?” She asked, recalling him as the same dwarf who had lost one of his hands during work around two months back. She was the one who had made a special medicine for him with her blood which helped him in healing him earlier than before.
“It’s great.”
“He is my mate, Theodore!! And Theo, he is happy.” Liara introduced them. Happy smiled at Theodore, who nodded his head.
“I have a gift for you. Wait here!! I will be back.” Saying this, he quickly left from there.
“A lot of people here know you!!” Theodore commented.
“That’s because I don’t mind checking other creatures while others are limited themselves. Also, a lot of creatures consult me for medicines when they already know what exactly is happening with them.”
“You’re such a knowledgeable woman,” Theodore said, more like talking to himself. Even last night, she knew what kind of creature was in the room while he was clueless. Liara smiled, hearing that.
It was way better than NERD.
They explored their work at that moment and were about to leave when Happy came running near them with his short legs. “I’m sorry for making you wait.” He apologized. “Doctor Wayne, this is for you,” he added, passing a small box toward her.
“Now that you have become the healer, you might need it.” Happy explained when Liara took that box from him. She opened it only to find a beautiful ring in a mixture of blue and green. “This is gate stone used to….”
“Teleportation,” Liara mumbled, to which Happy nodded his head.
“Yes!! I have created this ring for you. That’s why it will only take your orders.” Happy explained.
“But… why are you giving me such an expensive gift?” Liara asked.
‘Because I don’t want you to get late in the process of saving anyone when required.” Happy replied.
“Thank you so much, Happy!! It’s so beautiful.” Liara said and wore that ring on her middle finger. The ring was loose at first, but immediately it adjusted to her finger size. She smiled and looked at Theodore first, then at Happy. “Thank you again.”
“Don’t be. I felt that you would need this.” Happy said. “All you have to do is tell this tone where you want to go, and a twin gate will open, taking you to the place where you want to go, but this power won’t work in the academy because of security reasons.”
“Oh, okay!! I will keep this in mind and also go through this stone’s power once.” Liara paused before adding, “And I promise you that you will never regret gifting me this.”
By bidding goodbye to Happy, they started walking toward their room after all, as meeting the dwarfs was the last part of the Academy.
“I was thinking of using it,” Liara said, looking at her other ring.
“By going Maldives?” Theodore asked.
“Noooo!! By going Black Council.” Liara said with a smile. “You now know where I spent my last two years. Now, it’s your turn. On top, you told me that you hadn’t stayed away from your people for this long. So, let’s surprise them.”
‘Surprise? They will be shocked!!’ Theodore thought.
“Let’s go outside the academy where we can use this ring’s power there,” Liara said and started taking him with her so that he wouldn’t get lost in the maze of the Academy.
“Lia, no one will like you there or, worst, hate you,” Theodore said when Liara walked ahead of him.
“Nevermind!! My family members aren’t fond of you either.” Liara said, shrugging her shoulder. She was prepared for this as long as Theodore was beside her. Moreover, he didn’t like her in the beginning as well.
“There is a family in Black Council who consider me as their own,” Theodore said, that part which he didn’t get to talk about before. Liara stopped and looked at him to hear what else he had to say. “They are also WAYNE!! But they’re from my mother’s mate’s family’s side. They think that I am the great-grandson of Kennedy Turner Wayne and Griffin Wayne, Alpha of Pearl Moon Pack.”
Liara was shocked to learn this. No one knew what Theodore was over there, but then, you just couldn’t go and shout loudly that ‘I’m a hybrid.’
‘That too, a vampire Lycan Hybrid. Werewolves hate vampires.’
She looked into his eyes. Because of magic, she couldn’t sense his feelings, but she could read that Theodore was scared of getting rejected by werewolves, scared of the question that no one had asked until now but surely would when they would learn what he was.
‘Who is your father? What is the name of his father?’
He was scared that he would be called a bastard child. No matter how tough he showed from above, he felt bad too.
“I’m with you, ALWAYS,” Liara said. “ALWAYS.” She repeated. Though she believed that Theodore shouldn’t have hidden his identity from that family who considered him as their own but she didn’t touch that topic at that moment. If the family members were really good and treated Theodore nicely, then they would get hurt after learning the truth.
“Come on, now!! I won’t open my mouth over there, not before discussing that with you.” She assured him so that she wouldn’t end up saying anything that she wasn’t allowed to. That was a different thing that she didn’t have a habit of speaking unnecessary things.
Once they reached outside the Academy, Liara held Theodore’s hand, “Ready?”
“Yeah! Let’s try this shit!!” Theodore said, wondering what the hell would be going on over there.
“I want to go to the Black Council,” Liara said, looking at her gate stone ring. Immediately a door opened in front of her from where she could see a dark place; holding Theodore’s hand, she went inside, only to reach somewhere where there was no light but darkness and a lot of noise.
Thankfully, she was a werewolf, so her senses and eyesight were working absolutely fine.
‘We are finally here’ She mind-linked him, and it worked. Theodore didn’t reply and walked toward the noise while she followed him. After a while, she reached a ground where a war was going on between werewolves. It looked like they were ready to tear each other. A couple of them were already on the ground, either dead or injured.
Theodore growled loudly in anger, making everyone aware of his presence, while Liara rushed toward the injured werewolves.
“SHIFT NOW,” Theodore ordered them. A couple of them growled in disapproval but then shifted into their human form. “Who started the fight?” He asked in anger.
“Wow!! You look so handsome, Theo!!” A girl came running toward Theodore. “I missed you..” Before she could throw herself at him and before Theodore would have pushed her away. Liara stood in between them, glaring at the she-wolves who were being extra friendly with her mate.
“Stay away!” Destiny growled at her.
