NAINA

"Kunwar Sa," I mumbled under my breath looking into his eyes with my tear-filled eyes. Thank God he didn't hear it.

Damn!

I was in his arms. And he was also looking at me with a shocked expression. I had never got the chance to look into his eye but today I got the chance and I find myself lost in them.

Suddenly I gained my sense back hearing him clearing his throat. He helped me to stand me on my feet properly.

"Where were you lost? Can't you even walk properly? Watch your way while walking." He asked me in a serious tone and I gulped in fear thinking about what should I answer?

"Hey, Sameer." I heard someone's voice from my behind so I looked behind to see. And I felt a wave of relief wash over me when I saw Puneet Sir walking in our direction.

"You came back already?" He asked him standing beside me passing a smile at me.

"Yes, and I was going to my cabin but...." Kunwar sa replied still gazing at me but stopped in between. He didn't take his eyes off me.

Puneet sir looked at me and then at him holding a confused expression on his face.

Then asked me, "Do you have anything to discuss with him?" And I shook my head hastily right to left.

"Then why are you standing here?" He again asked.

"I'll make a move then." Saying that I ran from there to save myself from Kunwar sa.

I have to stay away from him onwards. Why does he have to always come in front of me now and then? Huhh!

I reached my desk and started doing my work.

"It's the first time, I have got the chance to look into his eyes. His eyes are so beautiful and deep as an ocean. So calm. And full of innocence."

"But when he is with me they are fully different. Huhh! Am I really that bad?" I felt a stab of disappointment.

"And that Rasiya. Is she really that good that she can make him this much happy? Love is really unpredictable." I shook my head with a wounded heart.

"She is well educated. And often used to talk in English to show off. And always apply tons and tons of make-up to look beautiful."

"You only like this artificial look, not a natural one. Kunwar Sa you are really something. You only see the outer beauty instead of inner beauty."

I was talking with myself looking at the mirror in the washroom.

"What were you doing there?" Sameer asked Puneet while walking towards his cabin with him.

"You were not here and it feels awful eating all alone. So I came here to the cafeteria. And unexpectedly I found Naina there."

Puneet said while typing something on his phone.

"Naina?" He took her name in a questioning way.

"Not Sister-in-law but employee Naina. Who just left a while ago." Rolling his eye he said with irritation.

"Don't call her sister-in-law. Neither She is your Sister-in-law nor anything else." Sameer said peevishly. And Puneet scoffed at him with a hard look.

"You are the one who keeps taking her name 100 times in a day. And when I talk about our employee Naina you thought it's about your Naina." They both get into their private lift.

"You shouldn't select her in the first place. You know how much I got irritated by that name. Still, you did this." Sameer said while punching on the lift wall.

"Earlier you used to get irritated mentioning her. And now you do have a problem with her name. Do you even remember what I said earlier?" Puneet asked him raising his left brow in a questioning way.

"Yes, I remembered. Before blaming her I have to test her."

With a fake tight lip smile, he said and then turned into his usual form.

They both exit the lift and begin to walk toward Sameer's cabin.

"Yeah, that's what you have to do. And yeah did you already tell her?"Puneet asked him turning into serious mode.

"Whom? I had to tell what?" Sameer asked getting confused while getting inside his cabin along Puneet.

Puneet sighed heavily exhausted and looked at him then said. "Do you have to tell her that you have got married to Naina? Didn't you take her for lunch, just to say this matter to her?" He said while grabbing a chair for him.

"Yes. I have told her." He said in a low tone and sat on his chair being disturbed.

"Good!" Puneet exclaimed nodding.

"Then what she had said?" He again asked inspecting Sameer's face Puneet could comprehend that something went wrong.

Flashback Start -

"It's a long time since we came out for a lunch. I'm very excited." Rasiya said excitedly hugging him by side.

"Let's sit first." He said and pulled out a chair for her to sit.

And she gave a warm smile to him and then sat there. Sameer also grab a seat for him and sat opposite Rasiya.

"What happened? You are looking tensed." Rasiya noticed Sameer was disturbed by something so she asked him.

"How do you always comprehend, what is going in my mind?" Sameer asked curiously.

"Cause I love you. I'm your heartbeat Sameer. I live inside your heart. So I know everything." She stated the fact in a cheesy way.

And her words made Sameer more nervous. He has been hella scared thinking that how she would react after knowing the biggest truth of his life.

How will he present his point of view in front of her so that she would understand his helplessness of that time?

"Is there something you want to say to me?" She asked him and he nodded nervously.

"Let's talk after having lunch."

He tried to ignore the topic. But she doesn't want to let it go. She wants to know What's the matter that bothering him so much.

"No, I want to know. And that too, NOW." She emphasizes the word Now.

Then continued, "You are telling me right? I don't want to hear any excuses. Just say what is bothering you so much?"

She said seriously putting her words clear.

"Why don't we talk lat......"

"NOW." She said determinedly with an extremely serious tone.

"Okay! Okay!" Sameer clutched his both palms together which were placed on the table.

"I had told you that day that, Pitaji and Maa Sa are coming." He started nervously and she nodded knowingly.

"That day, they had come up with a proposal for me." He said quickly.

"What proposal?" Her brows arched together and She asked him not getting his words.

"Regarding my marriage." He said looking down not able to meet his gaze with her.

"WHAT?" She shouted standing from her seat.

And the other customers looked at her to know what happened to her. Realizing the situation she again sit on her chair and looked at him fuming in anger.

"And what you have told them in your answer?" Suppressing her anger she asked him while gritting her teeth.

Her anger makes the environment heated and his condition worst. He gulped several times to confess what he had to....

"Umm....I said no to them."

"I told them that I don't want to marry now." He changes the whole story within a minute.

He was scared to lose her from his life. Obviously, cause he loves her unconditionally.

But he is unaware of his own feelings. What name does he have given to his feelings it's not love but just an attraction?

He thought that he is in love with her. But Alas! He doesn't know actually what love is?

But there is nothing to worry about. Because there's someone who exists in this world who will teach him what is love. And she will make him feel the real pleasure of true love.

"Why you didn't talk about us?"

She burst on him but in a low tone not wanting to grab others' attention towards them.

"Are you mad? If I had told them anything about us then they would never have agreed to our relationship. So, I have thought that after the situation gets better, I will talk to them about us."

He lied to her and was feeling guilty from inside for that. He was cursing himself for why he didn't take any steps to protest his love. Instead, he surrendered in front of them and sacrificed his love.

"Okey, alright. But don't forget to talk to them about us." She said slowly immersed in her thoughts.

Flashback End.......

Sameer narrated the whole matter to Puneet and anger flared across his face.

"So you could not able to tell her the truth?" He asked gritting his teeth and his voice shook with anger.

"How long you are going to hide it from her? You know, you can't hide the truth forever." He gave him a hard look.

"Truth is like a smell. You can't cover it up. It will come out in any way. It's the same goes for the truth. You can't hide it forever. It will come out one day."

Puneet yelled at him getting up from the chair.

"Yeah, I couldn't tell her. Seeing her reaction, I did not dare to tell the truth. Cause I am afraid of losing her from my life." Sameer also shouted losing his all sanity.

"I can't do this. JUST CAN'T."

He banged on his table with his hand.

"If you can't tell this to her then I will." Saying that Puneet made his way to go out and talked with Rasiya.

But Sameet stopped him by holding him tightly. "No, please wait. Neither you're going anywhere nor you are going to tell her anything. I'll tell her myself when the right time comes."

Puneet was trying to free himself from his grip but Sameer was more adamant not to let him go anywhere now.

Sameer made him sit on the chair forcefully. And he grabs another chair for himself. And sat face to face.

Holding his hand Sameer started. "Look at me," Sameer told him to look at him as he was looking at the other side fuming in anger.

"Do you trust me?" Sameer asked and he just nodded still looking somewhere else.

"Then, believe me, I'll take care of everything. Naina knows about this. As well as Pitaji and Maa sa."

"I promise, I'll tell her everything when the right time comes," Sameer said in a soft tone.

"What will happen then, Sameer? What will you do?"Finally, Puneet looked at him and asked.

"Pardon?" Sameer asked.

"I mean you can't be in two relationships. You have to choose one between two of them. With whom you want to live the rest of your life."

Puneet pointed out.

"Whom will you choose? That person whom you love or that person whom your parents have chosen for you?" Puneet put his point in front of him. Which made him fall into great trouble.

"I haven't thought about it yet what will I do? I need some time for it." Saying that he leans into his chair.

"Okay! Take your time. But think wisely." Giving him advice Puneet take his leave from there and went to his cabin.

"Ughh!" Sameer exclaimed frustrated pulling his hair.

"In such great trouble, I have got myself into. In One side is my parents and on the other side is my love. Whom will I choose?"

My skin prickled with anger.

"Both are more important to me than my life. I don't want to lose anyone from my life. But what do I do?"

Sameer hide his face in his palms feeling like, his head was splitting into two.
