"Please Raymond leave... I don't wanna talk... for now..." I raised my head as I looked at her. I stood up as I kissed her forehead. She looked down as I left her room.

I walked out as I wiped my tears when I was about to leave Mrs Cadhill called me,

"Raymond! Come here!"

“Yes, Ma’am?” I asked nonchalantly. I walked to her. She motioned me to sit next to her which I did. She patted my back which gave me a strange warmth, having no friends or loved one, I don’t remember anyone ever patting my back as she began to say,

"Give her some time...She'll forgive you.."I looked at her as tears brimmed in my eyes,

"How?Whenever our relationship gets better my stupidity always ruins it."

"But that 'stupidity' of yours brought you two closer, didn't it?"She smiled reassuringly. She was right. I looked at her. She is like the mother I always want. I have never hugged my mother; she always pushed me away whenever I did.

"Can I hug you, Mother?"I asked desperately. I was surprised by my own words. But she smiled at me as she said,

"Of course Son!"I hugged her as I cried.

"What should I do, Mother?"I asked her. It felt really good. I felt like I was in my own mother's arms.

"Well..let's think of a way to make things up.."

"How..?"

"Let's do it in a romantic way.."

I pulled away as I wiped my tears,

"Will it work?"

"A speech that could win her heart will definitely work."She smiled as I smiled back.

"What...have I done?"I hesitantly asked.

"Of course, She didn't tell me everything but You said that You could have made Vanessa stay. And that you loved her. And you threw her out calling her by her own nickname V, That broke her heart"My eyes widened.

"But... Violet is not V... I used to call Vanessa V... To me Violet is Violet.." Mum looked shocked as she laughed then,

"Looks like there's a misunderstanding.."

"That no laughing matter... I did something terrible."I said seriously but she patted my back again,

"Don't worry I'll clear this to her, you try to ask her forgiveness.."She said as I smiled.

"Thank you, Mother."She is truly like one to me. I am so lucky to have a family like that. I then left.

Violet POV:-

I felt so infuriated and sad. How did he expect me to forgive him so easily? I want to hug him and say that it's alright I forgive him. But I won't. He did such a terrible thing to me. I won't forgive him easily until he redeems.

But I felt really broken when he talked about her. And what's more broken is to see him cry. It melts my Heart in an instant.

I was lost in my thoughts as mum entered,

"Dear..."She called me.

"Yes, mum?"I looked at her.

"V is not you."She said as I blinked in confusion.

"What do you mean?"

"He used to call Vanessa 'V'" My eyes widened in shock.

"He..threw me out...thinking I am Her.."I said to myself.

"Yes, Love."

"Who told you that?"I asked

"He did"I looked at mum then at the mirror.

"Mum ..can you leave me alone..."I said. Mum smiled as hugged me and left.

I felt happy that it wasn't for me. But the fact remains that he threw me out. And I won't forgive him easily for that.

I was laying in the bed trying to sleep but then I heard my phone ring. It's almost 12 who would have to text me at that time, My eyes widened as it was from none other than Raymond.

"Come outside"

I was perplexed. I got out of the bed and saw Raymond standing in the middle of the street while his car is blocking the way. I opened the window as he looked at me and smiled. It's this a high school story? I laughed nervously to myself as he took a deep breath,

"I LOOVVEE YOUU VIOLET RAAYYMONDD SMITH!!!!"

He shouted from the bottom of his lungs.

It was loud enough for the whole neighborhood to listen to. My eyes widened in shock. My face was flushed. My mouth was agape of what he had done. Before people could come out He gave me a blow kiss as he left.

I quickly closed the window. My heart was beating so fast. I was smiling like crazy. I couldn't believe just what he had done.

I then lay on the bed. I tried to sleep but couldn't. I just couldn't stop smiling. After hours of struggle, I finally fell asleep.

I woke up early. I walked out of the room.

"Good Morning!"I greeted Mother and Kenneth. They are having breakfast. I also sat beside them and began to eat, Kenneth smirked at me and said,

"I love you Violet Raymond Smith." I choked on my food. My face became red.

"What happened? Violet Raymond Smith?"Now mother said while smirking.

"Not you too.."I said looking away.

They both laughed as Kenneth teased,

"Everyone heard Brother Confessing his undying love for you~"My face was completely red with embarrassment. Then, the bell rings.

"I'll go and get it!"I said, I got up and opened the door. As soon as I opened the door I was greeted by a rain of rose petals.M eyes widened as I smiled. I looked up and saw Raymond smiling at me.

"Good Morning Love."He came closer and kissed my cheek. I just stood there dumbfounded by what had just happened.

"Have a nice day."He smiled widely as he left.

After coming to my senses I manage to say,

"I didn't know he was that romantic.."

"I told him to throw a water bucket, instead of these flowers."Kenneth was smiling as well as Mum. Of course, they knew about it.

I just couldn't believe what had just happened. Is this even Raymond? I never thought that he would be that romantic. I smiled. I am so happy.

At night I am still so happy about it. I couldn't stop smiling like an idiot. I didn't know he loved me that much.

I was laying on the bed but then my phone buzzed, I smiled as I looked at the text,

"Come Downstairs"

I was feeling so playful. I decided not to go. Even though my whole being is telling me to go. But then he texted again,

"Come. Or else, I'll shout again."

I smiled as I went. I walked out as I looked at him.

"What are you doing?"I asked in a low tone. It's 1 am. He held my elbow and pulled me close to him. We are standing in the middle of the road and in the middle of the night, Not to mention.

"What are you doing? What if someone com-"Before I could finish my sentence he put his index finger on my lips.

"Shh...Keep Quiet and Listen."He looked at me. His eyes are filled with affection and love.

"I love you Violet and I am crazy for you. If you are crazy about me as much as I am about you, then come to the restaurant where I took you on our first dinner tomorrow at 8 pm. I'll wait for you."He said. He let me go and then left. I just stare at him as I watch him go.
