"Let's cook together!"She asked so cheerfully so I couldn't say no to her.

"Okay.."I said as I poured the pancake batter for the third time on the pan.

"Come on Raymond! You can do it!"Violet cheered. Last two tries were a failure because I burned them.

I flipped the pancake as it looked good.

"Finally.."I said as I put 2 pancakes on the plate. Violet looked at me.

"Seriously Raymond? That batter was for 6 pancakes NOT FOR 2!" She scolded.

"It was my first time cooking something, "I said monotonously.

She sighed as both the pancakes in the kitchen. After eating we both broke into laughter as the kitchen was a mess. I called the servants to clean the mess. Violet chuckled as she wrapped her arms around my waist and snuggled to me. I smiled.

"Looks like you love doing it.."

She just nodded.

Violet POV:-

Finally! We're lovers and not each other's obsession. I never want this moment to end. I felt really happy. I smiled sheepishly to myself as I snuggled with Raymond. My happiness cannot be explained with any words.

I was swinging my legs while whistling. I was in the hall waiting for Raymond for dinner. He's truly a workaholic. He works a lot.

It's 1 am and he isn't even home yet.

I smiled and looked at Raymond. He wasn't looking good. I walk toward him as he hugged me,

"Vanessa..."He said as my heart froze. His breath smells like alcohol,

"Raymond, are you drunk?"I asked.

"Who are you? Where's Vanessa?"He asked. He's clearly drunk.

"I'm your wife. Now come. I'll ask you tomorrow."I said sternly as I put his arm around my shoulder as held his waist and made him sit on the sofa, I sighed and began to say,

"Why the hell are you so drunk anyway?"

"I was happy! But ...why was I happy?"He put his index finger on his chin as I chuckled looking at him like that. He looked at me and asked again,

"Where's Vanessa?"

"She left you.."

"Oh yeah...I forgot!" He laughed. Then he suddenly became serious as he held my arms,

"Why did she leave me? I could have given her all the happiness she wants. Money. Love. Everything. How could she... She should have stayed... I should have given her money to make her stay here... Oh... Wish you were here... I would love you to no extent... Come back... I want you... Only you can save me..."He continued rambling about her as I felt my heart being torn into a million pieces. I will show him when he wakes up, I am not going to forgive him for it easily no matter what.

I got up as about to leave but he pulled me to him as I began to cry,

"She never cried ... She was perfect. Beautiful... Brave... Charming... everything I want in my love. I loved you V" But then he glared at me

"....You...You..."His grip tightened,

"I Hate You! Why are you here anyways!? You are just an infatuation and it's over now...You Can't save me anyway ...LEAVE!" He yelled at me. Before I could say or do anything he pulled me away,

"Stop Raymond! You are drunk! Stop it!"I said but he was listening as he dragged me out of the house,

"GET OUT OF MY LIFE V!!" He yelled as he threw me out. I just stood there frozen about what happened. I closed my eyes and sighed deeply, You are so dead, Raymond. I left. I felt broke. I was never his love, to begin with, I was nothing but an infatuation... he said it. How dare he.

I ring the bell as my mum opened the door, She looked at me with shocked wide eyes,

"What happened, love?"

"It's over.."I said as I looked at her.

I couldn't hold it any longer as I hugged her and began to cry out loud,

"I can't save him... Everything is ruined!"

Raymond POV:-

I woke up with an extreme headache. I couldn't remember what happened. I looked around and saw that I was in the hall. Where is Violet? I am sure she would be here if I was like that. But ..what if I have done something to her? I panicked just by that thought. I stood up to search for her. Just when I was about to get up Emma called me,

"Sir."

"What is it?"I said.

"You have done something terrible last night," Emma told me as my body became stiff. What have I done this time? Please no. Finally, everything became normal. I looked at Emma in horror. I tried to speak but my mind is filled with terror of what I have done,

"W-What did I do?"I asked.

"You threw Ma'am out; Thinking of her as Ma'am V '' My body stuffed upon hearing this. I threw her out. What have I done? I threw her out thinking of her as Vanessa. Why does all my happiness be taken away from me? What have I done?

Without caring about anything I went to Violet.

I ring the bell. Mrs Cadhill opened the door, She looked at me in anger but then her eyes scanned me from head to toe as she sighed,

"I don't think it's a good idea to meet her...but she is in her room..."

"Thank you, Ma'am," I said as I left. Looks like she took pity upon seeing me in a mess like this.

"Violet!"I called her as I opened the door. She was crying. She wiped her tears and looked away from me,

"Leave Raymond.." She said in a broken voice. I felt my heart being torn upon seeing her like this. I walked towards her,

"Violet please listen to me..."She looked away. She was sitting on the bed. I sat on the ground as I put my hands on her knees,

"Please.. Love... I am begging you.. listen to me for once.."I said in a cracking voice. Finally, I have been saved, I won't let anything take this solace away from me. She looked at me as I began to say,

"Look Violet, I am so sorry for what I have done. I didn't know what took over me that time. I am so sorry. Please forgive me. I have lost everything, please don't leave me. I am begging you, give me a chance I'll do anything for you. I'll always show you the love and affection you deserve. I will never be angry. I'll always try to be a better husband.... I.. I was drunk and said I don't know what I said to you unintentionally. Please, I'll never drink again. I am sorry, love. Please forgive me. Give me a chance and I'll do anything. Please..."Tears are falling from my eyes. I can't lose her too. She also began to cry as she said,

"You threw me out..in the middle of the night. I always loved you ..but you never did. You always broke my heart. You love her not me...Please, Raymond, leave...I want to be alone right now..please..."I put my head on her laps as I cried,

"I love you not anyone else. Please forgive me. I promise I'll do anything."
