●Nuri's P.O.V.●

After Kirti disconnected the call, I explained the situation to everyone present in the room.

"F*ck." Daniel hit his forehead with his hand.

"Omo, what to do now?" Yoonah asked.

"Oh gosh!" Jeena sighed.

"Holy Crap, Nuri! You're screwed!" Ray said while massaging his temple.

"Thanks, Ray. That helped." I said, rolling my eyes.

"I am sorry, but it's the Truth." Ray shrugged.

Yoonah slapped Ray's back, "Shut up! You're not helping."

"Ouch!" Ray screamed.

I helplessly glanced at Daniel. I knew he was the smartest person in the room. And only he could help me in this situation.

"What? Why are you looking at me like that?" Daniel asked while narrowing his brows at me.

"Do something, please." I requested.

"What? How am I going to do something about this?" Daniel frowned.

"Don't say it, Daniel Hyung! If you can make a bomb plan to catch human traffickers, you can also plan something to save Nuri from her sister too." Ray said, supporting me.

Yoonah, Jeena, Ray, and I stared at Daniel with our puppy dog eyes. Daniel glanced at us with shock.

"What are you all doing? I don't know what to do!" Daniel frowned again.

But we kept staring at him.

"Uugghhhh... Fine. Let me think of something." Daniel said while shaking his head in disappointment.

"Yyaayyy!! Daniel is the best." We cheered together.

"No way!

I can't do it." I protested.

"It's the only way I can see," Daniel replied casually.

"It's not an option. It's suicide." I yelled at Daniel.

After thinking, Daniel advised me to tell everything truly to Kirti. I didn't expect Daniel to come up with this idea. I wasn't happy with this option anyway.

"Nuri, If she is your true sister, she will understand you. I promise." Daniel said while patting my head.

"But what if she says everything to my family? They will surely throw me out of the house, I swear!" I said while crying.

"It's fine. My house is always open for you." Daniel teased.

"I hate you, Daniel. " I pouted.

"I love you too." Daniel placed a kiss on my head.

I glanced up at him as he moved away, staring at me.

"So I don't have any other option?" I asked with my worried voice.

"This is the best option. " Daniel uttered.

I glanced at Ray, Yoonah, and Jeena who were scared but seemed to agree with Daniel's plan. Finally, I gave up and heaved a sigh.

"Fine. Then let's do it." I said.

Everyone gave a faint smile as everyone was scared and worried about the situation.

I sent Ray to pick up Kirti from the airport and told him to bring her to the hospital. And I also called Kirti to confirm that I sent Ray to pick her up.

Ray sent a message to me that Nuri was with him in the cab, and they were on the way to reach the hospital.

"Daniel. I am scared!" I said as I held Daniel's hand.

"I am here with you, don't worry. " Daniel said.

"We are here too. We'll explain everything to your sister properly." Yoonah assured.

"Thank you.."

Suddenly the door opened with a thud sound, and someone entered the room.

"Why did you bring me here to this hospital instead of my sister's hotel?? Huh?"

The person was Kirti, who stomped inside the room. She was yelling at someone while looking behind, but soon, Kirti averted her gaze inside the room, and her eyes fell on me.

"Di ??" Kirti gasped.

Then she rushed towards me, leaving her luggage behind, and asked, "What happened to you?"

Daniel and I told Kirti everything from the beginning, and Yoonah, Jeena, and Ray helped us to explain it.

"So many things happened, and you didn't even tell me ?" Kirti was upset.

"Even you were kidnapped! Had surgery!

Oh Gosh! আমি পাগল হয়ে যাব!!! 【I'll go crazy!】" Kirti said while massaging her temple in disappointment.

"Kirti, can you not tell this, my parents? Please! They will never be going to let me out of my room if they know about this." I begged while holding Kirsti's hands.

"Di! Seriously! It is not you! You never hide things from me! I am really mad at you.

Look at you! You look devastated." Kirti wiped the corner of her eyes.

"Please, Kirti! I promise I'm not that injured! I'll be fine in these two weeks!" I begged again.

Kirti took some deep breaths.

"Kirti, please try to understand the situation! We have barely saved your sister. Don't give her more stress. It can make her health worse." Ray said with his requesting tone.

Everyone except Kirti glanced at Ray with their widened eyes because my health didn't have any connection with stress. Ray stuck out his tongue and winked at us. We understand he was lying to save the day. We controlled our laugh as we averted our eyes from Ray.

"Is it true?" Kirti turned to me.

Ray signalled me to play along. Hence I nodded as I couldn't lie to her. Kirti sighed.

"Okay! I won't tell Uncle Aunty about it.

But if your condition gets worse, we will go back to India right at the moment!" Kirti warned me.

"Of course! Thank You, sis!" I hugged her, and Kirti hugged me back.

"Yyaaaayyyy!!" Everyone cheered, and we shared a moment of a group hug.

After everyone moved away, Kirti asked, pointing at Daniel, "So he was the man I heard on call that day?"

I hesitatingly nodded.

"এই কেমন রে?" 【How is he?】"

I asked Kirti in Bengali about Daniel. So he couldn't understand.

Kirti took a look at Daniel from head to toe then she made a weird face. I got scared, thinking Kirti didn't like Daniel.

But finally she smiled and winked, " কি দেখতে রে!!!! তোর না লাগলে আমায় দিয়ে দিস। পুরো তো K-Drama থেকে বেরিয়ে এসেছে মনে হচ্ছে। কোথায় পেলি একে !??? আমারও চাই এমন কাউকে!!!!"

Kirti's voice was excited and cheerful.

Everyone else in the room was confused, and Daniel was scratching his head in utter confusion. Kirti and I kept giggling, watching everyone's expression.

"I must say, I like you, Jiju.

If you weren't this handsome, I would have rejected you. Because My Di deserves the best." Kirti said, glancing at Daniel with a wide smile.

"Jiju?" Daniel asked while glancing at me with his confused expression.

"Jiju means Brother in Law in India." I translated.

Daniel's eyes widened for a second, but then he blushed while scratching the nape of his neck.

"Awww…Daniel Hyung, you are so red!!" Ray teased Daniel. Yoonah and Jeena kept laughing at Ray's comment.

Daniel glared at Ray, and he stopped teasing Daniel.

"Thank you for saving my sister. I'll be grateful to you forever." Finally, Kirti became serious.

"No need to be grateful. Nuri is my responsibility." Daniel answered as he glanced at me.

"I am happy you have found someone like him," Kirti said while smiling at me.

"And they all helped to save Nuri," Daniel added, pointing at Ray, Yoonah, and Jeena.

Kirti turned to look at Ray, Yoonah, and Jeena.

"Thank You so much for being so kind and for saving her." Kirti bowed.

"She is our friend. No need to thank us." Yoonah smiled.

"Woah..you made friends in these couple of days?" Kirti asked with a shocked face, glancing back at me.

"You can be our friend too. We are kind people, so we don't mind making friends with people who are not kind also." Ray teased Kirti.

"You! Look, Di. He is the worst friend of yours! He doesn't know how to treat a woman!" Kirti complained.

"Ray? But he is a good boy." I said.

"Good? And he?" Kirti pointed at Ray while scoffing.

"He is rude as f*ck," Kirti yelled.

"Language, sis! Language!" I scolded Kirti then glanced at Ray.

"I am sorry for her behavior." I apologised to Ray.

"Nuri, stop apologising. You didn't do anything." Ray came closer, pushing Kirti out of his way.

Kirti gasped, witnessing Ray's bold action.

"She is my sister!" Kirty yelled.

"She is my best friend!" Ray stood close to me, almost acting as he owned me.

"Ahem.." suddenly, we heard a heavy throat clearing.

We all noticed Daniel's eyes were dark all of a sudden. Ray gulped.

"Aren't you a bit too close?" Daniel asked while glaring at Ray.

"Ah..haha... I was checking her temperature.." Ray said and soon ran off to a little distance.

We all burst out laughing, including Kirti.

Suddenly we heard a knock on the door.

"Can we come inside?" A female voice asked.

"Yes, please," I said.

The door opened, revealing a middle-aged woman, and beside her, there was a girl aged 14-15 years. But I realised it was Sumi. She ran to me and hugged me.

"How are you, Eonni?" She asked with her cheerful voice.

"I am fine. How are you?" I smiled at her.

"I am fine too." She replied.

She was so cheerful all of a sudden. But I saw her only timid and scared face when we were the captives.

"내 딸을 구해줘서 고마워요!

수미는 당신이 어떻게 목숨을 걸고 그녀의 목숨을 구했는지 말해줬습니다.

당신에게 정말 감사합니다." The women bowed again and again as she started crying.

Yoonah held that woman to comfort her. I glanced at Daniel for the translation.

"She said, Thank you for saving my daughter.

Sumi told me how you risked your life to save hers. I am very grateful to you. Thank you so much." Daniel translated her words to me.

"Aunt, it's alright. Sumi is like a sister to me. And it is our duty as a human to help others." I said.

And Yoonah translated it to Sumi's mother. She broke down in tears.

"수미는 2주동안 실종되었습니다. 그리고 우리는 모든 곳에서 그녀를 찾으려고 했습니다. 하지만 수미를 찾을 수 없었어요. 감사해요." She said as she bowed again.

"She said Sumi was missing for a week and she tried to find her everywhere but couldn't find her. She is grateful to you." Daniel smiled as he translated the words to me.

"Thank you, Nuri Eonni." Sumi showed a finger-heart to me.

"Don't have to thank me. Just be careful this time and don't go in the alleys alone." I said.

"Okay." She said while smiling widely.

After some time, they left, and Kirti came closer to me.

"Di..so you got injured while saving that girl?" Kirti asked.

"Yes.."

"You always do that! Seriously! Why can't you value your own life a little?" Kirti pouted.

"Isn't it obvious because she is not as selfish as you!" Ray scoffed.

"You again??" Kirti was furious. But everyone laughed at Ray's words.

"Hello.." we heard another voice approaching us.

Glancing at the doorway, I noticed a police officer was standing at the doorway. He came to rescue all of us that day.

"Hello, I am officer Jung. And I am really sorry for being so late.

How is Miss Nuri?" He asked as he walked close to me.

"I am fine. Thank you." I said as I realised the officer was talking in proper English.

"Where were these police officers when I lost my belongings on the first day??" I sighed.

"I must say, Miss Nuri, you are courageous.

We appreciate your efforts to save that little girl.

It was only for you why we were able to arrest the last kidnapper." Officer Jung said.

I only smiled.

"And We are grateful to Mr. Kim, Miss Yoonah and Mr. Ray for helping us in this case. Mr. Kim came up with a great plan, and it helped us reach the place where you were as a captive.

I hate to say, but he almost did it because of you. Mr. Kim almost messed up the whole police station to find you. Even he talked to me with a raised voice.

I must say you have got yourself a great life partner. Though, I didn't like his bossy behavior." Officer Jung burst out in a laugh.

And everyone seemed to agree with Officer Jung as they joined the laugh.

I giggled as I saw Daniel smiling while he licked his lips.

"So the case is closed now?" Daniel asked.

"You can say it is closed for now. But a human trafficking gang couldn't have survived without any help. Hence, we need to get the information from the human traffickers about who was helping them, till now." Officer Jung said.

And it made me even more scared.

"So there are more?" I asked being scared.

"They are the heads whom we have to find out now. I am sure someone with a lot of power was helping them." Officer Jung explained.

The room fell silent.

"Oh, by the way, the media wants to talk to the people who helped to catch the human trafficking gang. I am going to recommend Mr. Kim, Mr. Hirai, and your name Miss Nuri." Officer Jung said with a smile.

"Woah...I will be on Tv!!" Ray said with his cheerful voice.

"Yes, Mr. Hirai." Officer Jung assured.

"Can you not disclose my name?

I don't want to be in the eyes of the head of that human trafficker gang who must be watching the news." I said.

Daniel ruffled my hair as he smiled and said, " Smart enough!"

Everyone gasped, including Ray and Officer Jung.

"Yes.. please don't disclose my name too. We will be fine knowing we have done something good." Daniel added.

Ray said, "Right! What if the head remembers my face and then comes for me later. Please exclude my name too."

Officer Jung was shocked to see Ray's sudden change. Everyone burst out in a laugh, and Officer Jung joined too.

"Fine. If that's what you want." Officer Jung said.

"Then I am taking my leave for now. Have a great day everyone.

And Miss Nuri, great to meet a brave lady." officer Jung added with a proud smile.

I smiled back, and then he left. And soon, I felt a kiss on my head, "I am proud of you." Daniel whispered.

"Awwww…" Kirti and Jeena smiled at us.

"That's cringe!" Ray complained, "Get a room, please!"

"Shut up." Kirti scolded him.
