●Nuri's P.O.V.●

As sunlight touched my face, I opened my eyes. And the first thing I saw was a cute thing sleeping beside me.

"The view isn't that bad to watch every day," I murmured while caressing Daniel's cheeks.

Suddenly Daniel gripped my hand, and I was shocked.

Then he kissed my hand and opened his eyes slowly.

"Good Morning, Jagi," Daniel whispered.

"Good Morning."

"What do you want to eat today? I'll cook for you," Daniel said, rubbing his eyes.

"I didn't know Korean boyfriends come with so many benefits." I teased.

Daniel pulled me closer by gripping my waist.

"There are far more benefits than you can imagine! " Daniel uttered with his seductive sleepy voice.

"You want me to show you the other benefits?" He added with a smile.

"Not today.. thanks." I flashed an awkward smile as I tried to free myself.

Daniel giggled, watching me struggling under his grip. Finally, he let me go, and I jumped out of the bed. But he kept laughing.

Daniel cooked lunch for me, and we spent the entire day happily talking, watching movies, and listening to music. In the evening, Daniel left somewhere and told me to wait for him.

I concentrated on my novel. The time passed quickly, and it was 7 pm on the clock, but Daniel wasn't back still. I became worried and dialled Daniel's number.

After a ring, Daniel received the call.

"Hello, Nuri."

"Hello, Daniel, Where are you? I am worried." I said.

"I'm at the door, Jagi. Just open it." Daniel said, and the doorbell rang out of nowhere.

I giggled as I moved towards the door without disconnecting the call. As soon as I opened the door, I saw Daniel was standing there wearing a grey shirt and black trousers, while the phone was in his right ear.

"I hope this made you less worried. " Daniel said on the phone but maintained eye contact with me.

"Umm.." I replied while smiling and disconnected the call.

Daniel placed the phone inside his black trouser pocket and moved inside the apartment. I closed the door and locked it.

Daniel walked to the couch and sat comfortably while running his hand through his black hair. He looked a little tired.

I went to the kitchen, poured a glass of water, and returned to the living room.

"You look tired. Where did you go?" I said as I passed the glass of water to Daniel.

Daniel was thirsty. He finished the glass of water then said, "I had a very important work pending."

I took a seat beside Daniel as I asked, "What important work? I thought you finished all your work in the first two days."

"It was not for the office. It was for my life." Daniel's face hardened.

"Anything serious?" I asked with concerned eyes.

"Okay, let me show you. " Daniel said energetically and stood up from the couch.

I followed his actions carefully. Daniel placed his hand inside his pocket and pulled out something, but I couldn't understand what it was. Suddenly Daniel kneeled before me and opened a box-like thing which showed a diamond ring inside it. Finally, he asked, "Will you marry me, Miss India?"

"Daniel went to buy a Diamond Ring to propose to me ??!!!" The thought shocked me.

No joke! I felt like running away from there as soon as possible, but my body froze there. My eyes widened in shock as I kept staring at Daniel.

"Can you say something?" Daniel said with an adorable smile.

But this time, it didn't make me feel good. I gathered all my courage and said, "I can't."

Daniel's face dropped at my answer.

Daniel stood up and asked with an upset tone, "Why?"

"Daniel, haven't I told you you're taking things too fast? It is making me scared." I answered honestly.

"So you want to date me, but you don't want to marry me?" Daniel's eyes became cold.

"I didn't say that, Daniel!

I am just trying to say, give me some time!

Your culture and my culture are 180° opposite. I need to tell my parents about you.

And I'm sure they will definitely say no. So I have to talk to my parents and explain to them how much I love you!

Why don't you understand I have a big war to fight, so I can make it work between us.

How can I say yes before that, Daniel? You tell me." I explained.

"Oh.. then what if they don't say yes till the end. What would you do?

Are you willing to come to me against your parent's will and stay with me forever?" Daniel's question hit me hard.

I lowered my head.

"Why are you silent now? Tell me! Will you still choose me if your parents don't say yes to date me or marry me ?" Daniel's tone got harsher with every second that passed.

"No!" I said without looking at him. I couldn't look him in the eye.

Daniel's eyes widened. He stayed quiet for a few seconds before saying again, "Then why did you say that You love me? These words aren't just to tell anyone!"

I walked closer to Daniel and cupped his face with my palms, " I do love you, Daniel. And I promise I'll keep talking to them about it until they say yes.

You are important to me, Daniel, but they are my parents. They are important to me too.

Please, believe me in this. For once." I tried to make him understand my situation as I maintained eye contact with him.

Daniel stared at me without any word for a few seconds, then suddenly he pushed my hands away as he took some steps backward.

Daniel glanced up and took a deep breath before lowering his head, staring at the cold floor.

"I think you love someone else. That's why you're not sure about me." He said, still staring at the floor.

"Huh?"

"Tell me the truth! You love that Ray, right ?" Daniel's voice cracked.

Finally, Daniel lifted his face, and his eyes met mine. I saw his face was filled with tears.

"Daniel, Ray is just a friend! He is nothing more than that!" I protested.

"Huh.." Daniel let out a painful giggle.

"Don't think I didn't see you two kissing in the hotel room," Daniel uttered the words with a bitter smile. His eyes filled with pain.

My eyes widened. I couldn't answer anything as I realised Daniel saw Ray kissing me that night. I felt embarrassed, thinking Daniel witnessed the scene.

"What? Why are you silent again? Tell me!" Daniel's voice cracked as he tried to speak confidently.

"It was Ray who kissed me, Daniel. I didn't." I replied.

"But yo--u didn't pr-otest, Nuri.

Doesn't th-at mean you supported his ac-tion?" Daniel stuttered as he tried to explain his point.

I tried to get closer to him, but he took more steps backward.

"Stay right the-re." Daniel ordered while choking on his tears.

I stopped where I was and said, " I swear, I was shocked to even protest! Think about the day. Everything was a mess!"

"Please, believe me, Daniel, I only love you." I sat on my knees as I couldn't stand there anymore and saw Daniel crying, misunderstanding a stupid incident.

"I can't believe you right now," Daniel said without looking at me.

"So you think I am cheating on you ?" I demanded.

"I don't know... " Daniel answered while wiping his tears.

My heart was hurting, but when Daniel suspected me as a cheater, I felt devastated. Tears made their way to my cheeks as my whole body trembled after hearing Daniel's answer.

"Fine. I am going then. Enjoy your life." I said and stood up from the floor. Then I moved towards the exit.

I crossed Daniel, and he didn't even bother to look at me. Heaving a deep sigh, I unlocked the door and went out, and closed the door behind. I didn't move for an inch for 10 minutes and stood right in front of his apartment.

But Daniel never came outside, looking for me.

"Huh!! Didn't he say he freaks out when I'm not around him for a few moments? Liar!!"

I wiped my tears as I kept waiting out of his door. I didn't want him to find me again everywhere with his weak body. But 1 hour passed, and Daniel never came.

Finally, I went down through the staircase. I couldn't stand a single minute, standing outside of Daniel's apartment. Now I wanted him to find me. As I reached the ground floor, I took a right turn and started walking wherever I could go.

After walking for a bit, I didn't notice that I was in a less crowded area. I decided to go back, and as soon as I turned to go back, Two masculine hands pressed my mouth.

I couldn't scream.

I tried to free myself, but the man was not alone.

More two men gripped my hands and legs as they carried me somewhere.

I tried to scream, cry, but nothing seemed to work.

"Daniel…Save me.." I could only scream in my head.
