●Nuri's P.O.V.●

After that sentence, Daniel didn't talk to me even one word. We moved to the airport as it was our flight time.

Daniel was sitting right beside me in the flight, but he wasn't even looking at me. It was making me sad. But what was my fault here?

"Daniel.." I whispered.

"Hmmm…" He replied quickly.

"Are you mad at me?" I asked, poking my index finger into each other.

"Why would I be mad at you? Did you do something to get mad at you?" Daniel said casually, but his facial expression was telling another story.

"Daniel..listen, we can talk it out. But until I am in South Korea, let's enjoy the days here." I said innocently.

Daniel's face had no expression. He blinked twice and answered, "Cool."

I felt darker energy from him as he said, "cool."

But I knew nothing was cool. I turned my gaze out of the little window. The clouds were everywhere. I started thinking about something that can make Daniel's mood better.

"What should I do?" I thought as I checked my surroundings to find some topic to talk to Daniel. But soon, an idea popped up in my mind. I took out my phone and earphones. I played my favorite music and started listening it. The song was a Korean song that I heard that day while visiting Daniel's office.

The song was playing, but when it came to a certain line, I paused the song and glanced at Daniel.

"Daniel…?"

"Hmmm.." Daniel answered without looking at me.

"Look at me." I said.

"Why?"

"Just look at me."

Daniel rolled his eyes, then heaving a sigh, he glanced at me.

"What?" He asked with an annoyed face.

I placed one of the earphones in his right ear, and the other one was in my left ear. Daniel narrowed his eyes by watching my actions.

I played the song again, and the lyrics I wanted were playing. I lip-synced with the song dedicating the lyrics to him.

Daniel was confused for a second, but finally, he smiled.

"You finally smiled. " I said excitedly.

"How can I not when you are being so cute?" Daniel said while smiling.

I blushed. He leaned closer and placed a kiss on my head.

"I love you. " Daniel whispered in my ear before moving away back to his place.

"I love you too. " I whispered back.

Daniel patted my head as he said, "Then Let me hear your playlist. It seems interesting."

"It is if you like pop, k-pop plus Bollywood." I teased.

"Ohhh... I see...

This ride is going to be long." Daniel said with a mocking tone.

"Yah! Daniel. Are you doubting my taste in music?" I pouted.

Daniel burst out laughing, "No, no, I'm not. Let me hear what you got."

And like that, everything was fine between us again.

Daniel unlocked his apartment, and we headed inside. Opening our shoes, we changed into slippers.

We both went upstairs and kept our luggage in a corner of the bedroom as we sat on the edge of the bed.

We were exhausted after visiting Yongmeori Coast and then taking a flight. It was 10:30 pm. And I just wanted to sleep as soon as possible. Hence, I stood up and took a nightdress with me. I moved towards the bathroom as I said, "I am taking a shower first."

Daniel nodded as he let his back fall on the bed.

After taking a refreshing shower, I went to the mirror, applied my night cream, and was ready to sleep. Daniel came out of the bathroom, only wearing a towel again.

"Can you not wear the only towel? I am here too." I said, averting my gaze.

"Why jagi, you didn't like my body?" Daniel's voice was playful enough.

"Yahh!! Pervert go and wear something." I yelled.

"Fine. Fine." Daniel laughed while moving towards his cupboard.

After wearing his night dress, Daniel almost left the bedroom.

"Where are you going?" I asked.

"Downstairs! Where I sleep!

Why? Do you want me to sleep here?" Daniel flashed an evil smirk.

"Correct. I want you to sleep here." I patted the bed lightly.

"What? Now, who's the pervert here?" Daniel asked with his widened eyes.

"It's not like we didn't sleep together, honey. Remember last night! You carried me to bed." I gave a confident smile.

Daniel scratched his head.

"That couch is so uncomfortable! I would have never known if you were not having a fever before going to Jeju.

My back hurt when I slept there for 2 hours.

How did you manage to sleep every day there? Huh?" I have wanted to ask this question for a long time.

"I am habituated. I don't have a problem sleeping there." Daniel said while scratching the nape of his neck.

"Daniel, Sleep here, please. Okay?" I requested.

"Okay." Daniel smiled adorably like a kid and looked so cute.

Hence, we both hopped on the bed, and I switched off the lights. The room glowed up by the moonlight coming from the window.

Daniel moved closer to me and hugged me.

"You smell like roses, Miss India." He whispered with his closed eyes.

I smiled at his compliment.

"Nuri.." Daniel called my name.

"Hmm..?"

"What do you think about Ray?"

I wasn't expecting that question. I knew that Daniel could understand by Ray's behavior that Ray likes me. I cleared my throat and answered honestly.

"He is a great friend."

"Only friend?" Daniel asked.

"Yes. What do you think, who Ray is then?" I rolled my eyes.

"Okay.." Daniel chuckled.

He couldn't hide his feelings. Could he? Though it was pretty adorable to watch Daniel being jealous.

"Nuri.." Daniel called my name again?

"Hmmmmm?"

"What if you find a more attractive man than me? What would you do?" Daniel's voice worried.

"Seriously, what does he think all the time?" I smiled as I thought.

"I highly doubt there is someone more attractive than Mr. South Korea," I replied.

Daniel's cheeks turned red as he hid his face on my shoulder.

"Ah, Chinja…" Daniel protested as he couldn't control his smile.

"What if you find a more beautiful girl than me? What would you do?" I asked, glancing at Daniel.

"Ummmm… let me think." Daniel rubbed his chin while thinking too seriously.

"Daniel.… seriously? You need to think hard to answer me." I glared at him.

"I will date that girl, leaving you." Daniel smiled widely.

"Huh? You…!!" I gasped.

"You're a cheater! You scoundrel!!" I hit him with anger, and he didn't even protest, only laughed.

Finally, Daniel held my hands and stared silently at me.

"The man who freaks out when you're not around him even for a few minutes, how can he even like someone else? Silly!" Daniel smiled, "I'll die if I try to leave you."

"I've already imagined my next 60 years with you. Leaving you is not an option, and it will never be an option.

From the moment you said you love Daniel, he decided to live for Nuri, forever."

Daniel explained. And I felt my tears rolling down my cheeks. I leaned closer and placed a kiss on his lips.

"What have I done to have you in my life?" I thought as I felt Daniel kissing back.
