●Nuri's P.O.V.●

I was inside Ray's room. His friends were there too. I didn't know what Ray had told them about me. But they seemed not to ask me a lot of questions after that.

Ray's friends were just sitting together and talking, but I was only staring out of the window from time to time. I didn't know what I was trying to see from there. Maybe I was looking for Daniel and Yoonah together.

Ray's friends were quite friendly.

But they all were chatting in Korean. Hence, it was hard for me to be engaged in a conversation with them.

But they still tried to talk to me in English. And I replied politely.

Ray came out of the shower while wiping his hair.

"Nuri, you can go freshen up," Ray said, pointing at the washroom.

"Eh..No I'm fine," I said, putting on a little smile.

Ray's doorbell rang suddenly. He went and opened the door. The girl from the morning, Sung-il, entered the room and started talking to Ray. I couldn't understand what they were talking about. But it seemed Ray was a little shocked by something.

Ray rushed to his old clothes, which he was going to place back in his bag. He started searching for something in his cloth pockets. I curiously stared at him. Finally, he took out something from the jeans pocket.

It was his phone.

Ray tried to turn it on.

But the phone ran out of battery. It didn't turn on.

"Aaiiggoo." He cursed.

"What happened, Ray ?" I asked, seeing him restless.

"My phone. I didn't realise it turned off." Ray said while placing his phone into charging.

"Where is your phone?" He asked.

"Here it is," I said, showing my phone to him.

"Is it also switched off ?" Ray asked.

"Yes," I answered.

"Ah! That's why!

You should charge your phone first!

Give me your phone! Let me charge it first!" Ray said, extending his hand.

"It didn't run out of battery. I switched it off." I said, shifting my gaze to another side of the room.

"Aaaaiiissshhh!! Really ?" Ray let out a heavy sigh.

"Can you tell me what happened?" I asked as I was really confused at this point.

"Daniel Hyung came here to find you because he couldn't reach you by your phone number," Ray explained.

"When he didn't find me here. So he took my number from Sung-Il. But my phone ran out of battery and turned off.

Hence he also couldn't reach me." Ray licked his lips and ran his fingers through his hair.

"Oh my gosh!

He was looking for me?" I finally realised.

I glanced down at my phone and turned it on as soon as possible.

As my phone switched on, it exploded with notifications.

I had at least 300 calls, 50 text messages on my phone. And everything was from Daniel. My eyes widened.

I felt as if I did something terribly wrong. I licked my lips and looked up at Ray. He was scared. I knew Ray was always scared of Daniel. But at this point, I didn't know what Ray was thinking.

He just sat down on a couch inside the room.

He picked up the glass of water with his shaking hands and drank it.

"Don't worry.

I'm calling him back. I'll explain to him." I said to make him a little calm.

He nodded hesitatingly.

I called back at Daniel's number.

But his phone was switched off now. I gulped a large amount of saliva.

Knowing his anger, I was now wondering about what would have possibly happened when we were gone.

Daniel wasn't back in the room because I could have understood him in his room through Ray's balcony, which was exactly opposite to our room balcony. I stood up from the bed.

"Anyone have an umbrella?" I asked with my shaking voice.

Ray pointed at an umbrella placed at his desk beside the bed. I picked it up and decided to go back to our booked hotel to face Daniel.

"I'll return it," I said as I started moving towards the exit.

"Let me come with you." Ray stood up from the couch and suggested while finding something to wear under his shirt.

"I don't think it will be a wise choice for you to tag along with me." I smiled awkwardly.

Ray licked his lips and glanced outside of the balcony, then he shifted his eyes back at me.

"Call me if you need me to explain anything.

I'll be there in 5 minutes." Ray said.

"Okay," I replied and opened the door to leave.

My imagination was running wild while I was walking through the corridor. I didn't know that Daniel was finding me. I just assumed he would be catching up with his girlfriend.

But I was scared now to think that he was finding me in this heavy rain alone. I knew I messed up. I was trembling while exiting the hotel lobby.

Opening the umbrella, I directly glanced at the hotel entrance where a crowd was standing, saving themselves from the rain. I started walking towards the opposite hotel. But soon I realised something chaotic was going on there. Everyone seemed to be discussing something.

I couldn't understand at first. But then I followed their gazes, and my eyes widened. They were talking about a boy who looked like Daniel. He was standing in the rain, not moving a bit, staring at the ground.

"Who the hell is this?

Acting like a damn crazy person ?" I said, feeling annoyed, and then turned my head to the hotel entrance again.

But soon I realised, he wasn't only looking like Daniel, but he was wearing the same clothes as Daniel. I stopped and turned my attention back to that boy.

"Oh gosh…

It's not just some crazy, but my crazy!!!" I said out loud and started moving his way.

I couldn't understand what he was doing standing right there in the open ground instead of a shade. His clothes were already soaked, in rain. I was now furious, looking at him, behaving like crazy af. He wasn't like this.

Daniel had a fever a day ago. And he barely recovered. And now he was inviting the cold like this.

He glanced up and finally noticed me coming towards his way. His eyes widened. I could tell he was shocked to see me all of a sudden in the middle of the rain with an umbrella.

"Was he looking for me in this heavy rain like this?" I thought.

And it made me sad about my decision. But I couldn't understand where Yoonah was.

As soon as I reached closer to him, I placed the umbrella over Daniel's head.

"Yaaahh!!! Are you crazy?

Why are you soaking yourself to death, standing in the rain ?" I scolded, analysing him up to down.

But a smile approached Daniel's lips.

"Yah!!! Have you become deaf, huh ??

Can't you hear me?

Answer me !!" I frowned.

Suddenly Daniel wrapped his arms around my waist and pulled me closer. He buried his nose in my neck and tightened his grip on my waist.

I was shocked. I blinked a couple of times as my body just became a statue under his embrace.

"Daniel …?" I tried to say something but stopped only after calling his name.

"Don't you dare leave me again?" Suddenly, Daniel uttered the words.

"I love You, Miss India. More than anything else in this world. More than myself.

I am not sure if I can survive without you anymore. So don't disappear again.." Daniel explained as his grip on my waist tightened.

I was in shock. I couldn't understand if it was real or I was just hallucinating. How could Daniel confess to me all of a sudden?

I wasn't dreaming, Right? It was Daniel who always hid his feelings. He was directly stating his love for me.

I could feel his increasing heartbeats.

It was the same as me.

A big smile approached my lips as I hugged back, finally.

But instead of getting any reply, I felt Daniel's body was becoming heavy. I tried to hold him with all my power. But he was heavy for me.

Daniel lost his balance and fell to his knees and dragged me to the ground with him. His face was resting on my shoulder still.

"Daniel??? Daniel??" I didn't get any answer.

I tried to turn his head to me. And then I noticed Daniel was unconscious. I checked his breathing. It was slower than normal breathing, and he was becoming cold like the dead.

It scared me to death. I couldn't understand what to do. Some people did come my way, but I couldn't explain what happened to Daniel.

They were all talking in Korean.

And my mind was a mess. I couldn't say anything properly.

Daniel was unconscious on my lap.

I took some deep breaths and pulled out my phone from the purse. I dialled Ray's number. After two rings, Ray received the call.

"Nuri…Hello...!!!

Is everything okay?

Daniel Hyung didn't scold you that much, right ?" He asked so many questions.

"Ray…please come here.

Daniel has passed out in front of our hotel.

I can't understand these people around us. Help!" I said, almost screaming.

I didn't understand that I was crying already.

"Wh-what ???" He gasped.

"Wait...Nuri. Don't cry.

I will be there in a couple of minutes." Ray said and disconnected the call.
