Chapter 53: Chapter 53

The car came to a halt and Natasha grew more nervous than she already was. She didn't realize when did Farhan came out of the car or when did he open the door for her, she gave her hands to him with a tint of a shy smile. She could smell his chocolate cologne as she got down, the blush on her face deepened as she recollected the kiss for the nth time that night.

Only they both knew how difficult the rest of the ride was. She was blushing continuously throughout the ride, while he cursed the fact that they were in the car. He wanted to kiss her more. No jokes.

Farhan had a knowing smile on his face as he leaned in towards her ears, "you might want to stop blushing too much or I will kiss you again." her eyes went wide at his comment. When did he become so blunt and flirtatious?

"Let's go?" intertwining his fingers with hers he asked her with a cheesy smile, she nodded her head with another shy smile. What the hell is wrong with her face?

Farhan has such an impact on her and felt glad about that for some weird reasons. Grinning like fools, they both walked into the Sheikh mansion hand in hand. Parties conducted by his father were not his favourites, especially the ones which includes the get together of the ministers and the election party members. But today he had to come because of his mother.

Imran Sheikh never wanted his son in one of these parties, the fact that he needed his presence very badly said something. Farhan was eager to find out his father's intentions and was damn sure that it is up to no good.

"Wow, that's a lot of people." Natasha finally spoke, the blush on her face was replaced with a nervous look again. Farhan just nodded in assurance, telling I'm-here-with-you kind of look. Which was the only thing that kept her calm.

"We will say salaam to Ammi and leave in like half an hour?" Farhan smiled encouragingly, he could see the nervousness all over her face and he didn't like it one bit.

"Yes, please. I don't like it here, I'm sorry. But I don't have a good feeling about this party." Natasha mumbled honestly. Ever since she has stepped in here, her heart was beating way too fast and she didn't get any good vibes.

"I see ammi." Farhan grinned at his mother, who was talking with the other minister's wives and smiled widely when she saw her son.

"Assalamualaikum, Ammi." Natasha and Farhan greeted her together, who greeted them back with a warm smile, "Wa Alaikum salaam. I was waiting for you both." Ameera frowned at her son whilst excusing herself from the other ladies.

"You know about the traffics and still say that Ammi." Farhan and Natasha followed Ameera, who took them into an empty room, "how are you both? When was the last time you called me, Farhan?" pulling Natasha to sit beside her, she shot her son a glare, who raised his brows in confusion. Why was she all grumpy and moody today?

"Did you eat your medicines, Ammi?" Natasha had a smug smile on her face as she glanced at her mother in law and then at her husband.

"What medicines?" Farhan sat below his knees and held his mother's hand, who took it back with a frown, "don't talk with me. Unlike you, my daughter in law keeps a tab on me and my health."

"What happened to your health and why didn't you say anything to me?" Farhan asked accusingly as he eyed Natasha, who still had that smug smile on.

"Don't look at her like that, it was me who asked her not to tell you. Did you even remember me? But my daughter in law did. She texts me every day and calls me as well." Ameera kissed Natasha's hands, who smiled at her mother in law. She was too terrified of this woman in the start but later on, came to know how sweet and down to earth she really was and instantly fell in love with her.

"You both are teaming up against me. It's not fair" Farhan whined, both the ladies laughed at his expense.

"And whose fault is that?" Ameera smirked, but ruffled his hair lovingly which told him that she was just pulling his legs, getting up from his knees, he sat beside his mother.

"You're fine right?" Farhan asked with guilt, regretting not keeping in touch with her like he was supposed to.

"I'm fine, those are just calcium tablets. Did you both eat?" to which they both nodded in yes.

Suddenly a maid knocked at the door and came in with a worried face, "Saab is looking for you madam." Ameera nodded at her and gave her son a glance.

"You guys enjoy the party. I'll just come." Farhan nodded with a worried smile and turned to Natasha, who was still smiling smugly.

"You traitor. I thought we both said each other everything?" she now gave him a sheepish smile, "your mother didn't want me to say and I'm not sorry."

"Come with me, I have to show you my old room." taking her hands in his, he made her get up. Her heart was pounding fast with every step they took together.

"Wow. I've always wondered how your room would look," Natasha exclaimed but bit her lips in midway when she realized what she said.

"Really?" the teasing smile on his face made her want to punch his handsome face but she stopped herself.

They had to walk past people in the hall and walk up to the first floor to get into his room and it was all worth it. The room was so gorgeous for a guy. She'd give this a 9/10

"Nice room you've got here." Natasha grinned at all the wall photos which had his younger self in them. The click sound of the closing of the bedroom door made her alert and she turned to see him smirking mischievously at her.

With every step he took towards her, Natasha's cheeks flushed hard and her heart was a whole different case.

"What are you up-to, Farhan Sheikh?" she raised her brows with a shy smile on her face. Thanks to him, the previous kiss was now replaying in her mind again. And boy, did she want to kiss him again? Absolutely.

"What did I say about blushing too much?" he pulled her waist with a force and grabbed her towards him.

"W-what?" she stuttered whilst continuing to blush.

"I have waited too long for this, Nats. Not anymore. Hereafter, I'm going to kiss you, If I want to kiss you." her eyes widened at his blunt words. Did he hit his head or what?

"We are at your parents' home." she had no idea why the hell was she trying to stop him when in reality she too wants to kiss him as much as he wanted or if not more.

"I don't care, the door is locked anyway." he looked into her eyes and then at her lips, he couldn't just get enough of them. If he wasn't in the car when they kissed, he for a fact wouldn't have stopped kissing her at all.

Natasha bites on her lips nervously, waiting for him to make a move again, "you shouldn't have bitten your lips like that." and the next thing she knows was his lips, which was passionately kissing hers. A blush crept onto her cheeks as she kissed him back with equal wildness, and this time she was the dominating one. Which took Farhan by surprise, he lets her dominate the kiss anyway. As long as they kiss, he is all good.

His hands go to hold her neck as she continued to kiss him back more wildly whilst running her hands through his hair, messing them up in the process. They broke apart panting heavily and took long and uneven breaths. Farhan joined their foreheads together whilst closing his eyes, his hands were now securely wrapping against her waist.

She looked into his eyes again, the blush never left her face that night," you.." the words died deep down as he leaned in to kiss her again whilst their forehead were still pressed against each other. A soft moan left her mouth as he bites her lips, which made him kiss her more hungrily. This kiss lasted for a solid two minutes before they had to pull back.

Natasha couldn't really look him in the eyes anymore, not knowing what to do next, she hides her face in his chest. Her cheeks were on fire and she wasn't sure if all of this was really happening or was she in a dreamland. A place from which she'd never leave if given a chance.

"I've wanted to do this for a long time now," Farhan whispered against her hair, as he wrapped his arms against her safely, she hummed in disbelief. Did he really? Or was he bluffing? Natasha couldn't help but think.

"I am serious. Only I know how I've stopped myself all these days." Farhan groaned.

"No one asked you to stop." Natasha managed to utter those words and shuts her eyes as the realization hits upon her, he tilted her face with a teasing smile," the problem is..." she shivered at his husky voice as he leaned towards her ears," if I kissed you, I don't think I'd be able to stop."

Their moment was abruptly disturbed by the knock at the door. And they had to pull back with a jerk and made sure that they looked presentable enough. Natasha blushed hard as she saw the state he was in. With a shy smile, she leans in and wiped off her lipstick from his lips and he smirked at her teasingly.

"The door." she meekly whispered to distract him, who groaned at that. After setting his hair quickly, Farhan opened the door to see his mother standing outside," your father wants you down."

Natasha wished for the earth to swallow her down as she saw her mother in law pass a teasing smile her way.

They all walked down together, with happy smiles on their faces. Having no idea of what's awaiting them.

Imran Sheikh was talking with the minister of the opposite party with a sly smile when his wife and son came towards him," ah. Here they come." putting on a fake excited smile, he introduced them to the minister, who nodded at them.

"This is my wife, I'm sure you've already met her and he is my son, he owns a fashion designing firm." Imran didn't bother to even look at Natasha, which she wouldn't lie about has hurt her a lot.

"Yes, yes. I know, all about the award-winning fashion designer. I've read about him on a magazine a few months ago." the minister praised him, but Farhan just frowned in return. Angry at his father for ignoring his wife. How dare he?

"And here is my daughter, Alisha Choudhary." Alisha flashed her father a wide smile as she just joins in the conversation and her eyes went wide at seeing Farhan and Natasha, the last person she thought would see today.

"You?" both Farhan and Alisha exclaimed together.

"You guys know each other?" Alisha began to explain how she met him before, while Farhan stood there uninterestedly.

Natasha didn't stay there any longer, as she felt humiliated and ignored. With a heavy heart, she walked past everyone and goes back to Farhan's old room and locks herself in. Any more minute there, she might as well break down. She's a little sensitive like that.

"Natasha." she heard Farhan's voice a few minutes later, who banged on the door.

She didn't open it for the first few knocks, when he wouldn't give up, she had to get up and open the door, "what?" she snapped at him angrily.

"I... I'm sorry about him." Farhan had nothing else to say, he knew how his father was. But treating Natasha this way was not fair, but none of them can do anything about that. People will behave how they want to behave.

"Take me out of here, please," she whispered weakly and he didn't have to be told twice.

On their way back to the hall they could see Imran and Ameera arguing about something, which made Farhan groan. Not again; he sighed inwardly and gave his wife an apologetic smile.

"I'll just have a word with Ammi." she nodded her head in understanding.

When Farhan goes into the room, Natasha was feeling alone yet again. When she turned to go outside, feeling suffocated in between all these people and loud music, she came face to face with Alisha once again, who was smirking in her direction.

"I guess we will see each other a lot after today." Natasha frowned in confusion. But Alisha didn't bother explaining further, with an eye roll she turned towards the room again and could see the conversation was pretty heated up.

Tempted to know what it is, she walked nearer and stopped on her steps with a shock.

"Who gave you the permission to get him married? That too to a nobody like her." Imran seethed in anger at his wife, who flinched in fear.

"Don't you dare talk about my wife.." Farhan yelled at his father. They did not even care that a party was going on outside or that the door was open. Natasha was yet to recover from the shock. She was seriously not understanding what the hell was wrong with his father or why did he hate her so much.

"You shut up. If you do not marry the girl of my choice I'm divorcing your good for nothing mother. I promised that minister and I have to keep up my words." Imran yelled at his son in a rage.

Natasha's eyes widened in shock as she heard those words. Of all the things, this was the last thing she expected to hear. Fresh tears brimmed her eyes as she turned back on her steps and ran away from there, feeling humiliated and hurt. Farhan who saw her run groaned in anger.

This was not how he imagined this night to turn out.

"You must be insane if you think that I'll marry someone else. Do whatever you want. I don't care, but I'm not marrying anyone." giving his so-called father a cold look, he chased behind his wife. But maybe he was a little too late as she was gone already.
