Chapter 47: Chapter 47
Sara bit back a scream as Jason slammed her head against the wall. He leaned down and grabbed her by the hair, yanking her to her feet.
"They're going to find out if you don't start acting better." He snarled at her.
Sara swallowed, "I'm s-sorry...I'll try harder."
"You better. This morning you gave your sister way too many hints! Your fucking father is starting to watch me too! What the hell was that in the family room? You fucking flinched!" He roared.
"I'm sorry!" She cried.
He laughed, "No you're not. Or you would have stopped that blood from showing this morning and wouldn't have flinched from Rosalie!"
"I can't stop bleeding." She whispered.
"Then learn how to."
During lunch Sara had left for the doctor, knowing she wouldn't be able to handle this much pain. Her core was extremely sore from Jason. She had cried softly on her way there, wondering what she did to deserve this.
Now, she was sitting on the hospital bed, waiting for her results. When the doctor walked in she had a frown on her face.
"Here, this is just some pain medicine to help. It seems like you have a few small tears in the lining of your vagina. Luckily, you don't need any surgery to fix it. But I suggest not having any sex until it's healed. Don't worry, werewolves heal faster as you already know, you should be fine by tonight." She smiled warmly.
Sara nodded, "Thank you."
"Oh, and to avoid having this happen, make sure it's not dry in there when having intercourse."
"Okay."
She shoved the pain medicine into her pocket and rushed back. She sighed in relief when she didn't see Jason in their room. She quickly changed the sheets on the bed to the black sheets and laid down. She softly cried into her pillow, wishing Jason were different. Wishing she was as strong as her sister, that way, he wouldn't be able to hurt her.
She has always been the weak one though, the push over. The girl who was socially awkward and overly shy. She hated herself, more than anything, but she couldn't do anything about it. No matter how much she wanted to change.
She woke up a few hours later to an empty room. She sighed and sat up, rubbing the sleep from her eyes, she looked around. She frowned at the blood sheets in the hamper. Tears threatened to spill but she blinked them away.
No more crying. She told herself. Time to act stronger.
Sage walked outside to see Sara sitting on the porch, staring at the shadow covered forest. She smiled to herself before walking over and taking a seat beside her sister. Both sat in silence, covered by the moon's soft glow.
"Are you okay?" Sage asked.
Sara sighed, "I'm fine, I'm just tired."
"Jason is treating you well?"
"Yeah, why wouldn't he be? He's my mate after all."
"I'm just making sure."
Sara bit her lip, "How are things with you and Mason?"
"Great, actually. We hung out for a while today since mom and dad took the crazy kids out for ice cream."
Sara chuckled, "Sugar and them aren't a good mix."
"Especially when Demetria is just like dad when he has sugar."
Both girls laughed softly, Sage frowned again. "How are you and dad?"
Sara released a breath, "He's still ignoring me. I tried apologizing again, but he told me to leave him alone. But after checking me for injuries...which was weird. I haven't fought a rogue or anything."
"He's just making sure. You know how males get when it comes to their mates and pups."
"I guess so..."
"Well, I'm going to watch a movie. Want to join?"
"You better not, I need some release." Jason quickly mind-linked her.
Sara shook her head almost immediately, "No, I'm good. I'm gonna turn in for the night."
"Oh, okay, goodnight." Sage frowned.
Sara forced a smile, "Good night."
Sara nervously walked into her room, clutching onto the door knob until her knuckles turned white. Jason walked inside from the balcony and closed the doors. He then pulled her into the room and locked their door.
He pulled her against him and kissed her softly on the lips.
"See? When you're a good little wolf, I'm not so bad. I'll be gentle and slow tonight." He whispered.
Sara only nodded quietly.
Jason frowned as he gently grabbed her jaw and made her look at him. It took all of her strength to not flinch at his touch or cry.
"I love you." He whispered.
Sara swallowed, "I love you too."
"He doesn't love us, Sara. You know that. You're smarter than this. He'll be the death of us." Her wolf sounded.
Sara cut their connection off and kissed him back as he crushed his lips against her's.
If I keep acting, then he won't. She thought.
She was relieved to wake up the next morning without that terrible stinging pain. Jason's arms tightened around her and pulled her closer.
"Morning my little wolf." He whispered.
Sara made sure to relax, "Morning, my handsome prince."
She felt disgusted with herself, she was beyond confused. She didn't know if she truly loved him or if it was just the bond. She hated being near him now and hated even kissing him. She just wanted to escape.
"I have to work with the guard today. You'll be a good girl and act fine around your family? Not that your father cares anyway." He yawned, sitting up.
Sara sat up and nodded, "Don't worry, I'll be good."
He kissed her on the cheek, "Good girl."
Sara sighed as she walked outside where the guard was training. Jason winked at her, she forced a smile before sitting down. She zoned out for a while until someone sat beside her. She blinked and looked over to see a handsome boy smiling at her.
"Uh, hi?" Sara asked.
He grinned, "Hey, what are you doing?"
"You better tell him to leave." Jason growled through their mind-link.
Sara swallowed, "Watching my mate train."
The boy chuckled, "I can see that. Why don't we hang out some time? He clearly isn't giving you enough attention."
Trust me, he gives me more than enough attention. She thought bitterly.
"You may want to try shutting off the connection next time." Jason growled.
Sara stiffened and looked at him, his eyes were completely black, she couldn't even see the whites of them. Her eyes widened before she quickly looked at the boy.
"Sorry, can't." She rushed out before running inside.
She sprinted up to her room, but Jason was already there. She almost screamed as she turned to run somewhere else, but he grabbed her by the wrist. She quickly kicked him in the balls and ran for the stairs.
"You bitch!" He snarled.
She cried out as he grabbed her by the hair, causing her to stumble. He smirked and let go, allowing her to fall down the many stairs. When she reached the bottom her ankle was throbbing. She attempted to stand up, but couldn't put even the lightest weight on it.
"Good thing no one is home." Jason growled as he grabbed her and threw her into the medal railing.
Sara gasped at the sharp pain that traveled through her back. She yelped when something sharp was shoved into her abdomen. She looked down to see one of his claws shoved into her stomach.
"I was nice to you last night! You ungrateful whore!" He sneered.
Sara had tears running down her face, "I'm sorry!"
"Sorry doesn't cut it!"
"Not for you."
Sara and Jason both looked over to see Dimitri standing there, his arms folded across his chest.
"Let go of my daughter before I fucking rip your hand off. Piece by piece." He growled.
Jason narrowed his eyes, but released Sara. Not before causing a little damage. Dimitri quickly grabbed him by the throat and smirked.
"Oh, I'm going to have fun torturing you. Maybe I can turn it into a game...you know..for my amusement." Dimitri chuckled.
Sara groaned as she attempted to climb to her feet, but her ankle still wasn't strong enough. Dimitri frowned at his daughter, worry squeezing his heart.
"Sage!"
Sara watched as her sister barged into the house, her eyes widening when she saw Sara's blood soaked shirt.
"Take this piece of shit to the dungeon." Dimitri ordered.
Sage nodded and immediately grabbed Jason by his hair. She smirked at him.
"Should have been more careful." She sneered.
Dimitri rushed over to his daughter, he gently picked her up and carried her to the infirmary.
Sara frowned, "I-I thought you hated me?"
Dimitri furrowed his eyebrows, "I could never hate my own daughter. Ever."
Sara relaxed as he placed her on the gurney, telling the doctor what had happened. Before she blacked out she could see Rosalie rushing in. Both of her parents' eyes filled with worry.
