Chapter 48: Chapter 48
"Do you think whipping him or slowly cutting his fingers off?" Dimitri wondered aloud.
Sage pursed her lips, "I sometimes worry about you."
"That is all I do, worry about him." Rosalie sighed.
"But totally go with cutting his fingers off."
"Oh, yeah, definitely that." Sage joined in.
Dimitri nodded, "I'm going to have him begging for his death."
They waited a few more hours until the doctor walked out, when she told them about all of Sara's injuries and an old one, they were furious. Dimitri stormed into Sara's room and claimed a chair, refusing to leave until she woke up.
Sage and Rosalie didn't argue, they quickly sat down and waited for her to wake up.
Sage was worried sick, her sister was almost as white as the sheets, she had a small oxygen tube going under her nose, (what are they called again?)an IV in, her leg propped up on a pillow, and multiple other things.
When the Doctor told them about Sara coming in earlier in the week because of rips in her vagina, Dimitri was on the brink of shifting. He couldn't believe what he was hearing.
He felt guilty for ignoring all of the signs, for ignoring her. He gently grabbed her small hand and rubbed circles on it with his thumb. His eyes glistened with unshed tears, his heart felt heavy with sorrow as he studied his injured daughter.
A few hours later they all watched as she slowly opened her eyes. She smiled sadly at him, her eyes shining with obvious pain.
"I'm sorry." She whispered.
Rosalie frowned, "You have nothing to be sorry for, honey. We're just glad you're okay."
"Your mother is right, you have nothing to apologize for. I just wish you told us sooner or at least told Sage." Dimitri said.
Sara frowned, "I-I didn't want to risk Jason hurting any of you."
"We could of handled him." Sage frowned.
"But Elijah, Demetria, and Winter wouldn't be able to if they were alone. He has strange...abilities. He's really fast too."
She sighed as she looked at the ceiling, "I also didn't know what to do. I was scared he would kill me and hurt you guys or just beat me and then kill you guys. I didn't want you getting hurt."
Sage smiled softly and gently hugged her sister, "Well, we're here for you. Just remember that."
"I will." Sara smiled as she rested her head on her sister's shoulder.
"So, what are my injuries, exactly?" She asked.
Dimitri sighed, "A few bruised ribs, broken ankle, bruised collarbone, and then that stab wound from his claw."
"They also found a few old cracks on your ribs. How long has he been doing this for?" Rosalie asked.
Sara swallowed, "Well...he would only hit me here and there in the beginning and would threaten you guys if I didn't spend every minute with him. Then he started beating me at the beginning of this week."
"He was surely an idiot with it. I'm glad he didn't know how to hide it well or who knows when we would have figured it out." Sage frowned.
"He's a dead man." Dimitri growled. "Once I'm done with him."
Sara sighed, she bit her lip. "He....what if....if I'm pregnant? When he..."
Rosalie quickly ran over and soothed her, "Shhhhh, it's okay. We'll worry about that when the time comes."
Sara just nodded as she started to feel tired again. Her family smiled at her and kissed her on the cheek.
"Go to sleep." Rosalie whispered.
Sara started to panic when she saw them get up. "No! Please, stay. Please! What if he-
"Hey, shhhh, I'll stay. Okay?" Rosalie assured her.
"Me too, we'll protect you." Sage grinned.
Sara relaxed, "Thank you."
Dimitri frowned as his daughter fell asleep, her eyes still showing her pain. He turned on his heel and started to walk out of the room.
"Where are you going?" His wife asked.
He stopped and slightly turned his head, "To have a nice little chat with Jason."
"Hello, Jason."
Sage watched as her father stepped into the cell, a cold look in his eyes. She was completely used to this side of him, matter of fact, she admired it. She knew it's wrong to torture anyone, but she could careless when it came to the bastard who injured her sister.
After sitting with her sister for a few minutes she had decided on going with her father. She wanted to watch Jason beg for his death when he would never get it.
Jason looked up, Sage smiled at the fear in his eyes. Her father circled him, his eyes black and studying the abusive wolf.
"How are you feeling?" He asked.
Jason swallowed, "You're not here to have a nice little talk with me."
"What? What do you mean? Of course I am! How could I be mad at the warrior who abused my daughter?" Dimitri continued, his words dripping with sarcasm.
Dimitri tilted his head as he stood before Jason, thinking about what he was going to do.
"What are you going to do? Rape me like I did to her?" Jason sneered.
Dimitri scrunched up his nose, "One, rape is disgusting. Two, I don't like males like...that."
"I wouldn't be surprised."
"You seriously have no filter for your mouth, do you?"
Jason only stared at him, pure hatred in his eyes. Dimitri sighed and walked over to where multiple different weapons hung on the wall.
He pursed his lips as he thought over which one he would use first. He smiled as he grabbed the silver coated whip.
"This is going to be fun....for me of course." He grinned.
Jason gulped as Dimitri called in two guards. The two men quickly chained Jason up, forcing him to stand with his back facing Dimitri.
When the whip first sliced through his flesh, he only made a grunt of pain. Then came the second and he kept back his cry again. Next came the third, then the fourth and fifth. Finally, the sixth time, he let out a cry of pain.
Dimitri smirked as he whipped the boy again, enjoying the sounds of his cries. He knew he was sadistic for what he was doing, but he was past the point of caring.
Dimitri threw the bloody whip onto the ground, letting small drops of blood to splatter on the ground. He grabbed a silver dagger and walked back over to Jason.
He smirked, "Next game."
Jason screamed as Dimitri slowly cut through his flesh, the silver of the dagger burning him. Sweat coated his body along with his blood, causing Jason to feel gross.
Dimitri continued on with what he was doing, laughing when Jason begged for his death.
"Why would I kill you? You still need to finish your punishment." Dimitri asked.
Jason swallowed, "I-I've been punished enough."
Dimitri laughed, "Oh, you haven't been punished enough. Especially since you're a skin-walker."
"How did you...?"
"How did I know? Well, for starters, werewolves don't have black blood. Only skin-walkers do. And your scent...you can't exactly hide it now."
Jason just stared at him in shock, he then chuckled. "So, you're not as stupid as I thought."
"Oh? I'm apparently stupid?" Dimitri mused.
"Yes. You are. If you were smart you would of killed me by now."
Dimitri furrowed his eyebrows when he felt a sharp pain in his back. His eyes widened as he froze, he felt something get removed before plunging into him again. This time, in his side.
He coughed up blood before falling to the ground, shaking. Two men ran over to Jason and undid the chains, allowing him to fall to his feet.
"Take him. We have to be careful or they're going to find out." Jason ordered.
Three men grabbed Dimitri and forced him to walk out of the cell. Jason followed closely behind, smiling at the blood soaking Dimitri's once white shirt.
"Jason, what about that girl?" One asked.
Jason laughed, "I don't need her anymore, you can tell my sister to take the spell off. Maybe the bitch can find her real mate now. I should send a thank you card to her."
He looked back at Dimitri, he would never admit it, but he was afraid of capturing him. If he managed to break lose, they were in for it.
"Make sure he has wolfsbane going through his system all the time." Jason growled.
"Why?"
"He'll kill all of us if he doesn't."
