By the time Damien and his people get here, they’ll be massacred, we are ready and waiting for them. It’s good we didn’t have to go to them, they’re coming to us.

Frankly , I feel for all these enslaved ones because they’ll be the one to die in this feud. They’ll come thinking we are not prepared but they’ll meet us ready to kill.

As I heard this words from tha Dark Alpha. My heart grew cold. They were coming to get me , but Luna Sandra’s has already revealed all their pre planned works to Alpha Asher.

It’ll be a piece of cake to beat our clan with that much information from a loose end.

As I wandered away in my thought, everywhere grew silent, the guards had left to go plant traps where necessarily. I wish I could set myself free. Someone needs to warn them back at home.

Suddenly,I heard rumbling of keys , I peered out through the window, it was Paxton. He was able to escape, how did he do it.

I knew he was brave and strong, I looked at him and I wished that was me being able to save myself, but no someone had to save me .

He walked in and closed the door behind him, I exclaimed.

Paxton, are you okay? What did they do to you?

He didn’t answer me but rather started mumbling words, excuse me?

We need to leave immediately, a battle is going to erupt here and we need to be safe . He said.

No, my people are coming for me , I’m no weak Gamma , we fight today for the justice and freedom of everyone here and even if it means to die trying . It’ll be an honour to die in the place of battle.

I was trained for this. I’m sorry but I can’t go with you Paxton.

I can’t just leave you here, Elena. We need to get out to a place of safety , we will come back equipped with a good plan and we’ll have strategies in place. This is irrational thinking , if you decide to go through with this. He said in a calm and shaky voice.

What about all those Lunas? I mean everyone who has been enslaved to the dark Alpha. Trust me Paxton , a lot of people will die, we need to get them to safety before we even think about ourselves.

Don’t be selfish Elena, I care about you but this idea is insane. There will be display of magic, do you have any magical powers? Elena?

No, I don’t. You’re welcome to leave but I’m staying.

Paxton though about it for a minute and then he said , okay . Let’s do this .

We came up with a plan of moving the others away . All the guards were busy sharpening their swords, loading their guns with silver bullets.

Placing objects within the entrance of the Alphas estate. It was our only time to move. We sneaked out and to the quarters of everyone, moving them out one after another through the back and into the bushes.

Run as fast as you can to your clans, let them know of this estate, tell them about the happenings. Let every warrior of every clan assemble . They should meet at the inbetween . There our clan always waits for one hour praying and chanting before they move.

There’s a battle to win and there’s victory waiting for us. We kept on moving them , one after another. We were done with moving the young ones .

I felt a bit of happiness, I know I wasn’t safe but at least we had people running now and making their way to safety.

I wasn’t going to run, I was going to fight. I couldn’t wait to transform to my wolf form .

I was thirsty to kill. We went ahead to move the oldies.

Elena , the woman in her late 50’s called out to me before leaving to make a run for it.

Elena, thank you . You are a good fit for him. I can finally take my place. Take care of your husband. We shall meet again soon.

Go, woman . Run!!! I said to her , not minding what she was saying.

We had successfully released all the slaves. Just as we were sneaking out.

The guard found us , we both ran as fast as our legs could carry us , we departed heading for our separate dungeons to avert suspicions.

He chased after us but we were too fast for him , I got to my dungeon and I shut the door behind me.

Five minutes later, a guard approached the cell, Hey !

What do you want from me, are you here to finally take my life?

He peered inside to make sure I was alone before leaving. I hoped that Paxton was also able to make it. I was scared for him.

He was an Alpha but he didn’t possess dark powers. I sank into the ground at the thought that maybe he didn’t make it. I started beating myself up.

I made him stay, if I had just ran away with him or with the others, but I dragged him into my battle. It wasn’t his battle to fight. Now, I don’t know what has happened, he was already known as a traitor to his clan , if he is caught , he’ll not be treated with mercy.

They bound the door with more padlocks and chains. They suspected something but they couldn’t place it. They had informed all the slaves not to come out until they were all called upon.

They didn’t bother to check in on them, one mission has been accomplished. Now I needed to look for a way to get out of here , I missed my parents so much.

Once I’m out of here, I’ll need to call on Scott. I needed him to know the whole truth. I wasn’t sure how he was going to react when I told him all these things which I held away from him.

I'm used to being a spectator, or the one backstage taking a peek trying to hide away . But this moment , in this very instance I realized I haven’t gotten used to the dark and sullen grays,

I'd always felt trapped in my head, finally I orchestrated my escape. Doing something they wouldn’t expect me to do.

Everyone looked at me in awe and I could feel their eyes on me , it commanded respect. Other clans met with us while we were chanting to our animal spirit.

They joined in , the tale was told about how Elena and a guy named Paxton were told. I didn’t want to bother myself with the identity of Paxton .

I was glad to hear that Elena still breathes. I only wanted her to see me in my armor leading the trope, she needed to finally see that I don’t hide behind my brother's shadow.

Beyond the void I'd been confined in, was cold and loud. I blocked my ears to shut the world out but I could still hear them shout.

We got there but we didn’t take the back in which was the initial plan, we went over it .Albeit, I knew there wasn't any fast route.

We took our wolf form transforming fully , Fickle people, manifesting their demons, Obtuse people, here in our legions.

Surmising with useless assumptions,I've tried hard not to be hung up on their opinions.It takes a certain level of smart to understand what we were doing. But we went in as quiet as ninjas.

But lo and behold , we were seen, they were ready for us. Seems like they were trying to release a lion or a bait, but I couldn’t tell. It seemed to be missing.

They let their guard down the moment the found out it couldn’t happen,We were battering and beating against our enemy under a sunless sky.We kept clobbering and clubbing against their shield wall.

We were pounding and pummelling their defences.We were carving and cleaving towards the centre of their army, they didn’t see this coming. We pored the anti witch and demon powder all around the estate.

We were mangling and gashing their serried ranks, they couldn’t use their powers . We were winning the battle but I couldn’t find Alpha Asher. He seemed to be missing.

I looked over at my father he was filled with Empathy and a certain level of insanity.I never deemed anyone worthy, But today no one was going to question my worth.

The starless sky was casket-black and brooding. Even the clouds seemed morose, I guess it was on our side. Gelid hands clasped algid steel as we gazed upon our foe. The cold, north wind keened and mewled through both the valley and the souls of our men. I signaled at Kevin to go find Elena .

The clouds cleared. Their spears glimmered cruelly under the eerie moon. Its phantom flame sent ribbons of chrysalis-silver light spilling onto the upraised shields of our men. The monsters swarmed and swayed below us like corn in a field, yet it seemed there were more of them than a thousand bushels could hold. (

I raised our proud pennant aloft in defiance. It represented our stance, the different clans and everyone who was enslaved.If it was taken, it would mean we were dead.

They crashed upon the estate walls, like they regrouped as I screamed screamed; “stay on guard!!” in desperation. Their iron-shod feet clapped off the frozen ground like the rumbling of thunder. A tempest of wicked, barbed fire arrows m soared into the sombre sky. They sizzed and sizzled as we clawed our otargets.

Fountains of magma-red blood splattered all around. It was butchery. We would survive the day.

The slithering sounds of thousands of swords being unsheathed didn’t scare me, I remained unshaken.

They scampered for their life. We raised our swords in victory . I looked over and saw Elena with an odd looking guy and that guy wasn’t Kevin.

She ran to me and hugged me . You led everyone to battle and we won. I’m so proud of you Scott, she smiled ear to ear as she said that to me , just before they came and carried me up high in the air. We didn’t kill Asher but we had made them aware that we are not a weak Colony.

Most of all we rescued Elena and her friend Paxton.
