Dante was losing it so he decided to sneak into Alvin's house to get Kate. All he needed was a message to her.

Tossing a pack of Sim cards on the floor, he picked it up and texted her. To his surprise, she answered immediately begging him to take her away from him.

With shaking hands he replied to her immediately promising to help then orchestrated a way out and smiled. He doesn't need David's help as long as she stays with him.

Kate dropped the phone sniffling then change into a high low dress. She hasn't seen Alvin for the past two days though they lived in the same house.

Thinking of how he almost strangled her with pregnancy, she deemed him unworthy of being the father to her child thus arranged her bag.

Her ATM card was tucked in with her laptop and then she twirled the wedding ring on her hand dropping it on the table. Thus decided to seek an annulment when her baby was born. She entered the bathroom to pick her lingeries with eyes darting to the pills cup under the closet then picked it up thinking of asking for a refund.

Curiosity had her opening it, shook the cup to check the remaining quantity but it spilled out. She couldn't pick it due to her big bump so, she twirled the can: looking at the ones on the floor frowning at the translucent pills. It looked similar to her vitamins she rushed into the room and took her vitamins out to compare them. Her eyes almost popped out of her head while looking at the same pills. There wasn't a difference.

Then slump to the couch fuming with anger. She couldn't believe she was fooled by Alvin. Did he switch her pills with vitamins? He made her pregnant on purpose? What the hell. She raised her hair in frustration pacing to and fro. Recalling his calm demeanor when he learned she was taking pills.

' Is that why he accepted it? He wanted her to be heavy? ' she wanted to smack his rich handsome face to a pup. The confrontation was her next option but she reconsidered, reasons best known to her perhaps she knew he wouldn't let her leave should she create awareness thus decided to turn a blind eye.

She was a total mess from the discovery that she cursed herself for being naive to fall for him all over again perhaps she had always loved him.

She decided to leave him once and for all. She was sorry for her baby cos he isn't going to meet his father.

Picking up a book, she started to jot down her plan to leave the house besides, Alvin wouldn't expect her to run away from home. She twitched her mouth reaching for her phone then called her mother. She needed to say goodbye.

Deborah Patterson picked after a second ring ' hello Kate, have you given birth? She asked excitedly.

" Mom, it's not yet time but soon. How are you? She sniffled wondering if she could live without seeing her Mom.

" Oh. Are you scared? Don't worry you'll be fine. Just think of having him in your hands. Think of being able to kiss him goodnight. I promise you'll be fine" she encouraged

" I love you, Mom. I'll do just that" she started wiping her face with her hands.

" Are you okay? Kate, what's the matter? Did Alvin hurt you? Is something wrong with the baby? Are you having a cesarean section? Kate? She called as Kate put her hands over her mouth muffling her sobs.

" No. I'm so scared mom. I haven't done it before. Now that it's time I'm really scared" she stated which was partially true. Running away from Alvin was giving her the creeps already.

Debbie smiled ' it's normal. Don't be scared, my dear. You'll be fine. Trust me. I did it twice without support but yours is different. You've Alvin with you. He'll go all out for you. Relax okay? She cooed as Kate chuckled. Her mother had a point. He'll go all out for the baby, not her.

Her position in his life has changed from a beauty he bought to a bed mate then a baby-making machine. She was exaggerating to think he was going to ever treat her like a real wife.

But she had had enough. She was leaving him behind. He can find her all she wants but she was going far away from him.
