Kate would deliberately stay when serving Alvin coffee and espresso to take a photo of him making out with Cynthia but nothing happened.

Then opted to look for a job. She was a job seeker before she met him. Luckily she found one in a supermarket as sales personnel regardless of the pay.

She decided to go into online marketing since she was good at planning events and cooking. She opened a culinary school online. Uploading videos of different cuisine.

She would wake up to a ringing alarm to get ready for the day. She would prepare breakfast and lunch then proceed to brew coffee for him.

Soon it became her daily routine that she got used to. Her mother trained a survivor, not a loner. She would say to herself and swiftly, two months went by.

She was at it, serving him coffee when he noticed the missing ring. He held her hand hereby suspending her hand's mid-air and it was the first time their skin had touched for two months. Kate met his eyes then looked at her hands.

" Where's your ring? He asked slyly trying to mask his anger

" I... I lost it " she tells him trying to release her hands from his.

" What? He roared standing abruptly which had her struggling to hold the teacup but she was too late. It crashed on the floor spilling out on him.

" Kate Patterson! She was taken aback, it was the first time he had called her by her full name for two years.

" Alvin, it wasn't intentional" she tried to defend herself but he didn't believe her thinking she sold it to cater to her needs.

" Go and retrieve it if you know what's good for you. You're truly a gold digger" he slammed at her.

" I didn't sell it. Who would buy it from me when it has your name engraved on it. I simply dropped it at my doorstep maybe Cynthia picked it up. I assume she's your wife not me your personal maid" she replied him truthfully as he grabbed her pushing her to the bed hovering over her.

" I want it on your fingers, Kate. I see. Let me show you who my wife is" he stated attacking her lips like a predator for the first time Kate struggled with him trying to push him away which angered him.

" You're my wife Kate. I can do whatever I want with you" he defended but she wouldn't stop struggling, beating his chest to let her go.

" Cynthia is your wife. Get off me, Alvin. You've lost the right to touch me. You don't know how much I hate you, Alvin. I hate you. I detest you" she tells him.

His eyes darkened within seconds from rage " take it back Kate" he warned

" I hate you. " She voiced as he held his hands to avoid strangling her then tightened his grip on her hands looking into her hateful eyes.

" Fine by me. Hate me more Kate" he stated kissing her roughly pinning her hands above her head then opted to undress her. " Say it again Kate' he challenged ripping her panties off then tugged on her dress.

" You're not human. You're a devil. An Animal trying to rape me. Aren't you ashamed of yourself? Rapist!!! She said repeatedly but he didn't stop him.

Hearing her cussing at him didn't infuriate him. Her hateful eyes did and it erased all rationality from him that moment till he was done leaving her sobbing beside him.

Kate felt disgusted and filthy after he touched her. She wrapped her hands to cover her body then sat up reaching for the remnants of her torn dress while he watched her in guilt.

He couldn't believe he forced himself on her. He reached out to touch her but retracted his hands.

" Kate!! He called softly but she said nothing.

" I'm talking to you goddamn it" he snapped dragging her to the bed then raised her chin to look at her delicate face.

" You caused it. You made me do it. You made me this way. You better leave with it" he lets go of her chin in one go then threw her his shirt.

Kate was still shaking, dumbfounded at his will to force her.

" Find that ring if you don't want to run mad in my house. Find it " he warned trailing to the bathroom while she took a step but screamed instead which had him running to her

" You're such a careless woman' he scolded looking at the big cut on her feet but she pushed him away limping out of his room instead.

Alvin ran a hand through his hair in guilt wondering what was wrong with him. Been so close to her compelled him to do it after two months of celibacy and she was struggling thereby refusing him sex.

Kate went to the first aid room to treat her cut and ended up crying herself to a pup.

' Alvin forced himself on me. He forced me' she cried while complaining to herself then looked at her cellphone. It was recorded.

Hurriedly she saved it and bandaged her legs trailing to her room.

Colt called Alvin to reveal the person that sold the ring which Alvin dismissed as long as it was found. He didn't want to find a reason to punish her again.

His guilt led him to lift her punishment ordering the maids to prepare another luxurious room befitting a queen for her.

Kate had sent the recording to Dante fulfilling the last part of the divorce case. Now, all he needed was a photo of him and his lover to guarantee their victory.

Kate dropped the shawl on her body looking at the blue and purple marks on her body and cried then noticed her enlarged boobs then shrugged it off regarding it as a result of their intimacy then proceeded to the bathroom scrubbing his scent off her.

She didn't mind the pain when scrubbing as long as the scent wears off. Her body was red and blistered by the time she was done but it didn't make her feel better.

" Kate? Are you in? She heard someone's voice. It's so unfortunate she wasn't in the mood to talk.

" Kate? The anonymous called again then she heard the sound of someone unzipping her bag. She couldn't care less. She'll be leaving him soon and that was a sure thing. They can do their worst.

Alvin dropped by her to get her since she has refused to return to the room he assigned.

He didn't miss the fear in her eyes when she saw him.

" I'm not here to hurt you. Kate, I have another room prepared for you. I want it occupied" he ordered

" So that you can send me packing another day? Hell no. I like it here. At least I know my place now. You should be glad. I know who I am now. I'm not going with you' she finished limping to the closet

" Suit yourself. Stop doing chores and cooking. I've to go" he stated earning a glare from her then she hissed from the pain.

She saw him standing before her then the adrenaline rush kicked in as she kneed him on his crotch which he held in pain stumbling to the floor.

" The next time I see it near me I'll burst it. You beast " she warned impressed by her moves. He was still clutching to his crotch with gritted teeth

" Are you crazy? Do you want to kill me? You're crazy Kate" he accused as she laughed at him

He ended up leaving the room in pain which he deserved. He too thinks he deserves a beating for hurting her.

Kate locked the door to work after dressing her wound then her eyes wandered off to the pack of tampons and menstrual cups in the drawer. She looked around searching for a calendar with her eyes wide open.
