The whether was different today instead of the normal cool whether they were used to, it was kinda hot and alot of students couldn't stop complaining about it. It made everything hard and tiring for them. If it was the same cool whether, things would go smoothly. Even the jocks that loves playing football decided to just stay in door because it will be unbearable if they play a match in this sunny whether.

" Look at how I'm sweating" Ivan exaggerated as he sat on the concrete floor pouring water down his body.

Williams also felt same. He downed down his bottle water and poured the rest over his head " it's like the world war man. I can't imagine when last I felt this way. It's just so tiring and surprising at the same time"

Ivan chuckled " so how are we going to do with today's match ? "

" I really don't know yet . I think the coach will cancel it till tomorrow, hopefully."

" I hope so"

" Man let me gist you what happened when you left the lecture room today " the gossip Williams is back.

Ivan chuckles " so you still gossip?"

William glared at him " what sort of rubbish, infact I'm not saying anything again"

" Ok fine,I'm sorry. I'm all ears"

William pretend to think about it " it's not your fault"

" Just say it already"

" Ok fine. Remember that girl with the liposuction?"

Ivan furrowed his brows " what girl?"

" Don't tell me you've forgotten Pamela! The girl that was all over you in year one "

Ivan raked his brain then it sticks " oh! I remember her. What happened to her ?"

" Her best friend Gloria, i heard her telling people that Pamela is coming back to the school. Can you imagine!"

Ivan shrugged " why does that concerns me? It's non of my business"

" I know it's not your business but I don't want it to come as a surprise to you. Remember how Pamela has been, she never gives up on things she want . Just be prepared Ivan especially now that you and Lucy's relationship is getting stronger. Just be careful with Pamela. She's a devil in a human body " Williams adviced

" I've heard . Nothing and no one can come in between my relationship with Lucy. She's all I need and no one can be compared to her"

Williams was amazed with his friend " that's good to hear then"

Ivan smiled at Williams " you've got nothing to worry about my friend, I've got this and thanks for the head up."

" Don't mention"

" Good Lord I'm so damn hungry" his stomach made a growling sound " let's go have something to eat please"

Williams agreed with him " Same here, I'm also hungry. Please let's go get something"

They both got up and went down to the cafeteria to have something.

Sarah groaned " I'm so sad right now "

Lucy chuckles " what is it again "

" It's the movie I finished watching. Can you believe that the hero died at the end? Who does that . Who even wrote the story? It shouldn't have ended like that " she wiped are face with a tissue.

" Are you seriously crying ?" Lucy laughed " for crying out loud it's just a movie and you of all people should know that "

" But not all movies ends like this. The heros in movies don't die, they always win the battle an stay alive unlike this one that later died"

" Calm down woman, these are all work of fiction please. This isn't even real and you want to stress yourself over nothing. You my friend , is stupid " Lucy burst out laughing

" You're wicked " Sarah pouted " instead of you to pamper me, you're here making fun of me . What kind of friend does that !"

" I kind of friend does that, LMAO"

Sarah burst into fits of laughter " what kind of English is that "

" Atleast that made you laughed"

" You're insufferable"

" But you love me like that anyways"

Sarah sighed " that's because I've got no option"

"Hey!"

" What ?" Asked Lucy innocently

" Why are you saying it as if you're tired of me ? Girl, you better be lucky you have me right now. If you know how people wish I was their friend and roommate you wouldn't be saying this " Lucy said with a hint of mischief

Sarah burst out laughing " you're not serious"

" Ok, enough of all that . So let's talk something new"

Sarah's ears perked up at this

" Spill it already"

Lucy giggled " ok fine. The lecturer I told you about, the one that gave this hard assignment"

Sarah nodded " Yeah, what about him"

" What you actually said came to past Sarah. He canceled the assignment and infact we've written his test and it was so simple that people were even surprised. The man actually surprised us " an excited Lucy told Sarah

Sarah was flabbergasted " Didn't i tell you? I knew he wouldn't go ahead with the assignment. Aw! I'm so happy for you guys . Atleast now you're free from all those troubles"

" Yes oo"

" So since we'll be indoors through out, let's find something fun to do." Sarah suggested

Lucy nodded in agreement " so what do you suggest we do?"

" Let's go out and get some ice cream, what about that ?"

" Yeah right! I've been craving for one lately. "

" It's settled then. Let's dress up"

They heard a knock on the door.

The two ladies looked at each other confused " I'm not expecting anyone. Are you?"

Lucy shook her head " no I'm not . Let open up and see"

Sarah went to the door. She twist the handle and to her surprise, the person standing by the door is non other than her cousin ,Jack.

She scoffed " what do you want?"

Jack smirk " aren't I welcome to this apartment?

" No you're not" Sarah said

He chuckled then pushed her aside and entered. Lucy who found the whole thing funny burst out laughing.

" You two are something else"

Sarah could only open her mouth in shock "  did you just push me?!" She asked after closing the door.

Jack shrugged " yeah"

" How could you. This is my apartment"

" Point of correction, apartment you share with Lucy and I'm here to visit Lucy not you"

Sarah gasped " you dimwit. You don't get to talk to me that way. Lucy and I are even about to go out so try your luck later"

Lucy could help the show in her front " you guys need to calm down"

" Tell him to leave "

" Tell her to leave me alone "

They both said at the same time .

" This is getting out of hand . You two make me sick at times. Just calm down"

" Fine"

" And you jack what are you doing here ?"

Sarah smirked at his " answer her, she just asked a question"

Jack glared at her " what is your own now "

Lucy chuckles " you two just won't stop"

" Let's go get the ice-cream . He can stay and guide the house " Sarah suggested

Jack glared at her" allow Lucy to decide madam"

" Guys calm down, let's just all go."

Jack smirked at an angry Sarah " you heard her , she said we should all go"

" I hate you"

" The feeling is mutual "

They arrived at the ice-cream shop . Jack paid off the cab man and they both entered the shop. They found a nice sitting place and sat down after ordering for the ice-cream and popcorn.

Sarah couldn't wait to have a taste of her ice-cream. She started licking  it even before they got to their seat.

" Food monger " jack made a disgusting face

" Same as you" she returned

Lucy blew out a tired breath. She was already fed up with their banters. She sat opposite Sarah and jack sat at the edge .

" Never knew their ice-cream here taste this delicious" Sarah admitted.

" All thanks to me . I made you know the place " said a cocky jack

" I wasn't talking to you" Sarah glared

" Who cares"

" Here I thought I can have a taste of this lovely ice-cream in peace but you two are making it impossible to let that happen"

" Sorry" apologized Sarah

Jack sighed " Sorry"

" But come to think of it. Why do you two argue alot? You're cousins"

" I don't know what I did wrong that's making her treat me like this. You can please help me ask her Lucy"

Sarah rolled he eyes " because you're obnoxious"

" Ok enough, I've had it to this point " scoffed Lucy

" Let's enjoy "

Ivan ran almost 25miles when the news reached him. He was surprised when a friend of his came to him to tell him about the list posted. List of people that got lucky to join the international match in Germany. Ivan couldn't believe as he saw his name written on the top. He was totally flabbergasted beyond believe. Never would he have thought this could happen. It was like a dream come true to him.

He has been trying this for the past two years now and then this year became his lucky year. He is finally going to be a international football player. Thank you God.

A smile stretched his face so widely that he thought his face gonna stretch. This is surreal and he couldn't wait to share this lovely news with Lucy. His time has come to shine and he couldn't wait for it.

" Hey lucy, your phone is ringing" Sarah called

" Who's calling?"

" Let me check"

" It's ivan"

" Ivan?! I'm coming " Lucy quickly came out of the bathroom all smiley.

" Look who's all smiley" Sarah teased.

Lucy waved off " Hello!"

" Hey babe. How you doing?"

"I'm good" she went to sit on her comfy mattress " and you?"

" I'm good love. So how was your day?"

" It went superb. Even more superb now that you called"

" Wooo! How come my girl is all cheesy this evening?" He smiled through the phone .

" So it's a crime to be cheesy with my boyfriend?" She raised a brow

He raised a hand up in surrender even after knowing she couldn't see him" I'm not complaining. Infact I'm loving this side of you"

Lucy giggled" Good"

" Guess what love"

She furrowed her brows in confusion " what is it ?"

" Just guess"

" You know I can't guess Ivan. Just tell me what it is please"

He chuckled " okay. Remember how I've been trying to be a foreign footballer?"

She was unsure of where he was driving at " Yeah?"

" I've been selected. I'm finally going to be a professional football player "

" like seriously?! You're not kidding right ?!"

"I'm not. The list came out this afternoon and to my surprise my name was on the list"  he told her

" That's a good news . I'm so happy for you"

" Thanks love. I wish you're here with me. We would have burst down the whole city here" he smiled

She awed " someone is really missing my presence"

" I'm missing you like crazy" he confessed

"Miss you more than you can imagine"

"  I love you"

" Love you more"

Sarah who couldn't take the cheesiness cooed" you two won't kill me with this your love . God!it's annoying and the same time sweet to watch""..

Ivan who heard through the phone chuckles

" Stop eavesdropping on people's conversation!" Lucy warned but a hint of joke could be heard in her voice .

" I wasn't eavesdropping. You two were talking loud " Sarah defended

" but the phone wasn't on loud speaker. How did you hear what Ivan was saying?"

Sarah shrugged " I need not to hear what Ivan said . All your response says it all. You are both too cheesy for your own good period"

Ivan who hasn't ended the call chuckled " Leave my babe alone, Sarah"

Lucy blushed knowing fully well that Sarah didn't hear .

Sarah gave her a confused look " why are you blushing?" Then it clicked " I guess I should leave you two alone " she decided to have a walk down the street.

Sarah put on her ear phone which was already connected to her phone. She put the music down on a low volume and went ahead to have a nice walk.
