Chapter 19: Home again

Madison POV

I am set for the day; I took slow steps to my bag stand and picked out a white Chanel bag then walked out of my room after dressing up in a blue fitted gown and a white stiletto shoe. I am a hundred percent sure I would have a tight schedule today. I released a heavy sigh then walked out through my door as I pulled my hair behind my ear.

I wonder where Krystal could be now, could she be with Kingsley or alone?

I bit my lower lips with a shrug then walked down the stairs majestically. “Are you ready?” I heard her voice from my right side.

“Well, I was just thinking of you and yes, I am ready” I smiled as I turned to look at her looking as elegant as always.

“Where is Kingsley?” I asked her then turned to look around the room but there was no sign of him around. “He is probably dressing up to leave” she replied with a smile.

I carved my brows at her then clicked my tongue. “That’s it, you are gonna tell me all what’s going on between the both of you” I replied and she took slow steps to me with a smile.

“Madison, it’s been sorted out, I don’t want to bring it up again” she chuckled and I rolled my eyes.

“Young lady, I already told you. Period!” I exclaimed and walk past her to the kitchen to grab two bottles of water for the both of us.

Should I just let her keep to herself??

NO, Krystal is like a sister to me so I should know and work the whole thing out even though she said she had already sorted it out.

I stopped to look at the bottles of water in my hand then shrugged “Let’s go Madison” I said to myself then walked out of the kitchen.

Kingsley had just walked down from the stairs with few of his bags “You are not leaving with all?” Krystal asked him

“No I am not” he replied

“Oh, you would be coming around right?” I asked him then walk to Krystal to give her the bottle water I had brought for her.

“Thanks” she replied. I returned a smile then turned back to Kingsley “Wanna have breakfast here or?”

“NO its okay, I’ll get something on my way there. I am running late already” he replied with a side smile

“We should get going then, every one of us here has a busy schedule right?” Krystal replied as she walked to the door to leave.

Kingsley and I also made our way to the door after I turned off the lights. “Are you saying there is accommodation for you where you work?” Krystal asked him.

“Yes there is, feeding and all that” he replied

“Alright then” I replied. We got to our car and I pushed the car button to unlock the car doors.

“You are coming with us right?” I asked Kingsley

“Yeah, I’ll drop on the way” he replied.

We all sat inside the car and I ignite the car as I slowly drove away.

30 MINUTES LATER

The car pulled to a halt in the car park of the hospital. Kingsley dropped along the way like he said. I stepped out of the car with my car key in my hands, Krystal also walked out with a bright smile on her face.

We already talked about Kingsley when he left, Krystal explained everything to me and to be honest, I never imagined Kingsley could do such a thing but since he said there was a reason behind his action, I can’t blame him, I know Kingsley is a very loyal guy, loyal to those he love and she also said he confessed to her again.

I know Kingsley had always loved her, now he has to get over her since she has no single feelings for him. Poor boy…

“Dr. Krystal, have you spoken to Adrian yet?” I asked her as we walk into the hospital together through the door.

“Can you imagine, I don’t have his contact yet. I am really stupid” she laughed out

“Well, you shouldn’t blame yourself, you will eventually get his contact that’s if he has the same feelings for you” I replied and took a right turn.

“Yeah, he has to” she replied as I rolled my eyes with a low laugh. Dr. Melvin was standing ahead of me with a patient, the moment he saw me, he said words to her t hat I couldn’t hear well. I am sure he took excuse from her to come to me. He had this bright smile on his face “Dr. Madison how are you doing?” he asked me

“Well I am fine thank you” I replied

“How about you, Dr. Krystal? I trust you are good” he asked her. She nods her head in reply.

“Is there anything you have to say Doctor?” I asked him with a carved brow.

“Uhm. Nothing really.. you can go into your offices now, you know your schedule for the day” he replied then walked away.

“I’ll see you around then” Krystal said to me with a wave.

The next second, she was out of my sight. I smiled and made my way to my office walking on my heels with my hair bouncing on my shoulders.

I turned the door knob open and stepped into my office yelping immediately “Ahhh!!” I flinched back.

Zach was leaning against my table with a side smile on his face.

“What the hell is your problem? Is it that you Italians don’t understand simple English?” I asked him angered he showed up again.

“Baby girl..” he replied instead. He would never stop this would he?

“Honestly, I don’t know what I need to do to you to make you understand I don’t want you” I replied as I grabbed my hair with both of my hands.

“I don’t need to repeat myself baby, I want you and you are mine” he replied with possessiveness in his voice.

“What’s your name again?” I asked him as I fold my arms

“Which of them?” he smirked

“Well I am Santino Piero Cassio” he replied and left the table to take slow steps to me.

“I guess that is your Italian name, so what’s Zach Westley?”

“I was given the name by my American mom, no more Questions honey. You are leaving with me now” he replied

“Sorry? Who do you think you are to come into my office and tell me I would be leaving with you? To where? First of all, you claimed me as yours and that’s a no-no” I replied and turned around to leave.

Zach’s hand curled around my waist as he pulled me back immediately to himself, his right hand around my waist and the other around my neck.

“Don’t provoke me baby girl” he whispered yet with a husky tone.

“Or what?” I asked and he turned me to face him without letting go of me.

“I will make you beg me to stop”

Kingsley POV

A black Rolls Royce pulled away before me and a man in a black suit and black shades stepped out of the passenger seat to get my luggage. “Welcome back sir” he said as he took my bags to the boot while I opened the door to seat at the back seat.

“Really good to have you again” Kevin said beside me. I returned a smile and grabbed my seatbelt.

“I heard you got shot, how are you feeling now?” I replied

“Better, just can’t wait to deal with that mother*cker” he replied and I scoffed. “He is on our hate list, no I am here.. I’ve got your back” I replied and he held my hands in his.

“I’ve missed you , I am never gonna let Greg send you away again” he replied

“He is your big bro and the boss. I think he’d do what he wants to” I chuckled then grabbed my black shades and put them on and the driver slowly drives away heading to the mansion.

What a good feeling to be home again…….
