Chapter 18: I love someone else

Madison POV

It is a new day, I walked down my bed and tucked my feet into my flip flops as I strolled into the bathroom sleepwalking.

I walked to the door and kicked it open, why does my head ache this bad?

I shook my head and walked to the washing basin to wash my face up. In less than 2 minutes, I finished up and walked out of the bathroom with a small blue towel around my neck. My gaze landed on the nightstand looking at my phone. I carved my brows; didn’t I leave it on the bed while I slept off?

I shrugged then walked to get my phone to see I have a new text message from Zach, the message came in few minutes ago. I groaned with a heavy sigh and open his message to see what he has to say this time.

“Tonight”

That was the only text he sent, I scoffed and rolled my eyes.

“Who do you think you are to keep sending me meaningless texts?” I clicked my tongue then threw my phone back to the bed. I need to prepare for the day’s work, that is; I need to have my bath now.

I walked back to the bathroom as I took off my clothes on my way in, “Good morning world, let’s see what lies ahead of me today” I said to myself.

Krystal POV

I stepped out of the bathroom in a white towel tied around my chest and another small white towel tied around my hair to dry up my hair. Everything about me is beginning to seem off and that is clearly because of Kingsley’s presence.

I won’t let the thought of Kingsley ruin my day. Before I walk to my closet to get something to wear, I heard a knock on the door then paused as I turned around to look at the door.

“Hold on..” I replied lowly but then, the door went open revealing Kingsley.

I rolled my eyes and turned my back on him, “Hey, good morning” he greeted from behind

“Did you come into my room to greet me? If so please get out now” I replied as I grabbed my skirt from the hanger.

“Krystal, please don’t do this to me, please hear me out” he pleaded and I shook my head.

“There is nothing to hear from you, I hate that Madison is already worried. Please get out of my room, I need to dress up” I replied but he refused to leave, he didn’t even move an inch away.

“Madison told me you have feelings for me” he said and I paused what I was doing. I laughed lowly then turned to look at him.

“Why didn’t you tell me?” he asked and again I laughed.

“Tell you? Well, she was wrong or probably you didn’t hear her well, it not ‘have’ it is ‘Had’ Kingsley” I replied and he sighed.

“Whichever but you could still have told me” he replied

“Please why should I tell you I did? You were the one who confessed your feelings to me first and I told you ‘give me time’ instead you went ahead to be making out with the school most stupid b!tch Kingsley” I fired at him

“let me explain” he managed to say

“Please save it, I already forgot about you, forgot Natty so don’t bring back those ugly memories” I replied as I stared intently into his eyes.

“I don’t Natty, I never did. I came back here to make things up with you, please give me a chance to” he pleaded

“You don’t love her huh? Then why did you make out with her just after confessing your feelings to me? You didn’t just do that, you denied me Kingsley! You insulted me before everyone else and you are thinking your words would be enough for me believe huh?” I scoffed.

“YOU ARE A COWARD AND I REGRET MEETING YOU” I stated clearly before his face. He didn’t look surprised, instead he sighed.

“Krystal you are clearly mad at me and that’s why you don’t want to hear me out”

“However way you see it, I don’t care. I already told you my mind” I replied

“Krystal…” he called out and I stepped back slowly

“When you are done please leave my room” I said lowly

“Krystal, I never stopped thinking of you, I had a reason when I did that with Natty, I never wanted to do it but I was forced to”

“That is the same way I am forcing you out of my room, now.” I yelled and pointed my fingers at the door

“Krystal I love you!!” he yelled out.

I gulped down heavily and stared into Kingsley’s teary eyes. What is all this now?

No, I will not fall for him again. “Kingsley..”

“And I am damn serious about it this time. I never wanted to do it with Natty and I can’t explain why I did that. I really don’t want to remember a thing about it” Kingsley replied.

“Krystal I don’t want to lose you, I love you” he continued. I stared at his face for sometime then shook my head as I walk back slowly.

“No..NO” I shook my head.

Kingsley grabbed my wrist and inhaled heavily “Krystal, you love me don’t you? Make me happy again… I beg you” he pleaded and before I could give him a reply, he pulled me closer to himself and crashed his lips on mine.

My eyes went wide open immediately as I placed my hand on his chest to push him away. His lips are damn soft and I am sure every other girl would want a guy like Kingsley.

I pushed him away immediately and wiped my lips “Krystal…” he called out. His facial expression is beginning to sadden me.

“Please forgive me, I’ll make it up to you” he continued.

“Sorry but no, yes I was into you but I am no longer” I replied

“I don’t know what you would that would make me love you again…I love someone else Kingsley” I replied and wiped my eyes.

“Krystal…”

“I have forgiven you, but I can’t welcome you into my love life. Our story is over Kingsley. Strangers can become lovers just as lovers can become strangers” I replied

“You already lost me, and I already moved on. Just forget me” I replied and walked to the door as I opened it gesturing him to leave.

“Krystal..”

“Don’t worry, I am here for you to talk to, and I can assure you, no feelings attached” I replied
