Mike POV

I was furious. I felt like jumping on him and breaking his bones. He may be another reason why my mate didn't attend the party. She was different from other girls I met. She wasn't interested in my charm and status unlike other girls. She was pure and innocent. Many of the students in our college were familiar with my status. They knew I was their alpha. So that means they had to do everything I said to them. They had to listen to me. That's where my life shattered. I ordered her friends to stop hanging out with her. The twins were werewolves and Ria was Dylan's s mate. So she wouldn't have a choice but to listen to him. I turned the whole class against her. I even allowed Amanda to bully her. That piece of shit didn't invited my mate. I even conducted that party so that Maria could become familiar with my family. She was my first priority. But it the end she wasn't invited. I should have invited her. But I was embarrassed to face her second time to my house. Trust me the first time wasn't a good memory for her. That stupid assignment.

“ What a piece of shit I am? “

“ I can agree that alpha.“ my wolf seemed furious too.

Now the person in front of me was a werewolf too.

" Aaron? That name seems familiar to me? "

I wanted to know everything about him.

“Aaron" I called behind him. He turned towards me. His black eyes glared at me. He chuckled.

" Alpha Mike " it is fancy seeing you in front of me.

“ I didn't come here to chat. “ I growled.

" Who are you? Something tells me you are not an ordinary werewolf “ I said maintaining my fierce look.

He chuckled. " Well, something tells me that you are not interested in me but someone else that I am interested in. "

" What the hell? “ I grabbed his collar and pushed him towards a wall. He was as tall as me and very strong a power only alpha posses.

“ Don't tell me you are an alpha " my expression was mixed with surprise and anger.

“ Nice to meet you. I am alpha Aaron David Black of the Sun marrow city “ he smirked and gave me a hand.

I ignored his hand. My doubts were cleared. He was the alpha of my neighboring city. I heard about him but it was the first time meeting him personally. His dad was killed in a plane but it was soon solved to be murder. I heard his uncle took revenge for his dad's murder and asked him to take the position as the new alpha. He was the youngest alpha in our country. His uncle Alexander Black was my uncle's best friend. After his dad's death, my uncle became his godfather. He considered Aaron as his son. All this year I never had an opportunity to meet him.

" So the time has come to finally meet you in person. My uncle's favorite boy. " I smiled.

He laughed and continued “ Did you come here to ask me about my life. That is very sweet of you. I am impressed. “

My blood boiled and my eyes were about to get darker. My voice became huskier " Leave my mate alone. I don't like you clinging to her. She belongs to me. Only me. I don't like any other males around her “

“ I came here to find my mate and I had already found her. You are not getting Maria. Don't even think about her. I knew how much she went through thanks to you . " he said in a husky voice. I was about to fight him but our coach came and interrupted us.

" This is not over Aaron. " I said on my way from the play ground.

Aaron POV

I saw him turning his heels and heading towards the college gate. The things that he has done with Maria I could never forgive him. Nobody calls their mate filthy. A mate was the one who completes a werewolf. A mate would make a werewolf stronger. It was rare for a werewolf especially an alpha to get a human as their mate. Some people considered them as a blessing while others a curse.

I knew my mate was Nancy the day I turned 19. She was my best friend during school. But I left her to take the position as an alpha in my city. I would never have found who my mate as if she hadn’t gifted me with a jacket on my 13 birthday. Her scent was still in that jacket which made my wolf recognize his mate.

It had been a surprise to meet Maria here. She was as lovely as I first met her. She was a sweet lovely girl when I first met her. Now she turned into a gorgeous young woman who turned out to be Mike's mate. She was too pure for that jerk. I decided to play a little game with him.

“ Alpha. What are you planning?" my wolf asked me.

“ I am gonna act like Maria’s mate. Let's see him going crazy for her. “ my wolf chuckled.

In the meantime, I decided to meet my real mate. I need to tell her my position as soon as possible. She may get surprised or scared.

Maria called me and invited me to a cafe. I waited for her as she told me. I waited for 7 pm for her to show up.

The canteen had a peaceful atmosphere with fewer people. I was a person who likes to socialize with everyone. I helped everyone in my city. It's in my blood just like my father. I was following in his footsteps. I wanted to make him proud of me.

“ Aaron. “ I turned to see Maria standing before me.

“ Look I invited someone” she pointed towards her.

The girl who I had wished to see for long. She was beautiful than before. Her green eyes widen with excitement. Her wavy brown hair reached her shoulders. She had a slender body with perfect curves. Her scent made me feel happy. The scent of lavender and sandalwood. The scent made my wolf howled with excitement. I could hear her heartbeat getting uneven while looking at me. She looked very shy which I found charming. She sat beside Maria and looked at me.

“ So “ I spoke “ How are you doing? “ I looked straight into her eyes. She was blushing which made me excited.

" Hai Aaron. Maria said you came here a few days ago. It is so nice to see you again. You have changed Aaron. You look better than before “ she finally looked at me with a charming smile plastered on her lips.

So she found me handsome than before. That what happens when an alpha matures. He becomes more attractive and stronger than before.
