Chapter 14

On our journey, I saw Mike and his goofy friends in a jeep heading to a club. I always knew he was a party freak.

I am seeing that a**hole everywhere.

Gods must be so angry with me.

“ Hey look it's Mike. “ I poked Nancy. She turned to look at him

“Your idiot, stupid, a**hole bully.“ she chuckled and made an angry face.

“More like a stalker nowadays. Always bugging me.” I replied. I still was confused by his sudden behavior towards me.

“Oh girl maybe he had a BIG crush on you “ she laughed.

What a joke?.

“Yeah right. Like the last thing I am gonna do is fall for that jerk. “ I rolled my eyes.

“See he had Amanda with him. The college clown. She thinks she is the queen who runs the campus. I felt like she is the number one looser. ”

"That is Amanda. She looks fake to me. " Nancy stared at them.

Amanda thinks she was a queen. To me she was a pig. Well pigs are more wonderful creatures than her.

“Why don't we follow them?” she asked.

"Are you crazy? Let's get the hell out of here before he sees me. I don't wish to spent a minute around that jerk. It will be a total disaster and a nightmare for me. So a big NO."

“Start the scooter....start it “

"Ok princess." she sighed.

I don't wish to spend even a minute around him.

It was finally time for the exams. We were allotted different classes to take the exams. The exams were conducted for three hours up to noon. I rushed to my home as soon as my exams are over. I don't want him to catch me.

I did very well in all my subjects so I wasn't worried about my results. We had a two-month vacation between the next semester. The results were announced and I got the second position. Sam got the first. Mike got the eighth position. I never knew he was this smart.

Nancy and I traveled to different places during my vacations. She even pulled me to a salon for a makeover.

"I don't need a makeover," I told her.

“I know you are really beautiful but you need a haircut. How about a feather cut. It will look good on you. I promise “ She replied.

It turned out that haircut really suited me. She made me buy new clothes. Very fashionable ones like short skirts, knee-length multi-colored tops, and boots.

I was spending less because I need to save money for my family. I was also getting my scholarship money so it was really helpful for me. We thought of moving to a new house but I was worried about the rent the house owners would ask.

On the next day, I was humming a song and walking through my college bridge. Then I caught up with a very familiar-looking face. I was confused. But soon it turned into excitement. He was tall and handsome with very attractive features. Then reality hits me. Oh my god, it was Aaron. Our old friend. He was a student here. Why couldn't I see him before? No way.

He was leaning toward a wall and typing something on his phone. He was alone. I bet Nancy will be surprised. I walked up to him and cleared my throat.

“A.. Aaron is that you? " I asked him.

He stopped whatever he was doing and looked at me. He was confused for a minute and he smiled.

“Do you remember me? “ I asked him. I hope I don’t make a fool about myself.

"Maria. Oh seriously it is you. “ he smiled with a big smile on his face.

“Oh, Aaron you remembered me. You disappeared in the school and appeared here out of nowhere." I smiled.

“What are you doing here? “ I asked him.

“I am a transfer student “ he replied.

“Really. That is so awesome. Maybe we can hang out sometimes. Oh, I forgot to ask. Which class did you get transferred to? “

“B4" he replied.

"We are in the same class, Aaron," I told him excitedly.

I was so relieved about that. At least I won’t be alone this year.

“Thank god I know someone here “ he smiled at me.

“You didn't even say goodbye to us. Do you remember Nancy? " I looked at him.

“Yes, I do. I am willing to meet her," he told me while looking here and there.

“I am sorry for what I did to you guys. I wanted to get back to my mom and sister. It was an emergency situation. My uncle took care of us. Sorry I had to disappear like this " he looked really sad while saying that.

I could say he turned out to be a really hot guy like Mike. At least Mike won't disturb me anymore.

We headed to our class. Only a few students were present at that time. But those people seemed curious about him. I could see girls staring at him. They acted like high school girls when their crush smiled at them. They were laughing and murmuring about him. After some time they walked up to him and introduced themselves. Aaron was friendly towards them. A perfect extrovert. He was always been friendly with everybody.

I was messaging Nancy about him suddenly I heard someone walking towards us and talking angrily at Aaron.

“ You are in my seat man. Move “ I looked up to see an angry-looking Mike snapping at Aaron.

"Excuse me. But we came here first. " Aaron maintained his cool composure and smirked at him.

“ Mike, he is right. From now on he is sitting with me. He is my friend from School. His name is Aaron. So will you excuse us here?" I told Mike.

I could feel the anger radiating from him. His face turned darker and he clenched his jaws.

“Don't make me repeat it. “ this time Mike was ready to fight him but someone dragged him away. It was his best friend Ash.

I was so relieved that our teacher arrived at that moment. He introduced Aaron to the rest of the class. The girls seem very excited while the boys were very calm. I could feel some jealousy rising from some of them and then there was Aaron who was angry as hell. He was staring at me with possessiveness and lust. I was scared. I gulped and looked away. I was confused about him.

Chapter 15

"Come on fast Aaron. Canteen is this way" I dragged Aaron along with me.

“You promised me that you will take me for a tour around the campus," he said.

" Yeah, I know. I won't forget. I promise " I smiled.

On our way, I saw people staring at us but we ignored them. We were friends so there is no way for them to get suspicious about us.

I waited for our order whereas he went somewhere.

“Maria let’s go sit over there. I found a place for us" he told me.

"Aaron, I used to sit at this really cool place every day during my lunch. "

“Can we go there?” I added.

"Why? Don't you want to sit here? and who was that guy from the morning? He looks like trouble “ he asked me.

“It's a long story “ I replied.

"Cool, I love listening to long stories," he said.

He dragged me to the chair and gestured me to sit down.

"Now let's start your story then" he smiled at me.

I told him everything about Mike and his gang. About how I used to be friends with Rose and Ria and how they left me because of him. I told him about Amanda and her bitch attitude towards me. She tried to bully me several times and it was all because of Mike.

I couldn't tell him about the kiss though. I never wanted to get embarrassed in front of him. He listened and told me that he won't allow anyone to treat me like that anymore. He promised that he will always be my best friend.

"I am happy that you came here, Aaron. " I brushed my tears away.

“Don't be a cry baby. “ he laughed and hugged me.

"When are we going to meet Nancy? Does she calls you often," he asked me curiously.

“ Of course. She is the only friend I have in this town. She is studying at TVK College. " I replied.

“ I had a part-time job as a librarian in the Central Library near our college. “ I told him excitedly

“Good I am happy for you. Hey, I like to join the soccer club. Which club did you join?” He asked.

“Art club".

"You have to register with the club," I said.

"Ok I will," he said while having his food.

In the evening I headed to the library and he headed to the club. I was rearranging the books on the shelf when suddenly someone pushed me to a storeroom. I turned around to face a possessive-looking Mike. His eyes were darker which sparked doubt in my mind.

"Maria " his voice was deep and huskier than before.

Then he grabbed my waist with one hand while his other hand was touching my lips. My heart was beating uncontrollably inside me. Before I was able to respond he crashed his lips against mine making me gasp. He didn't stop. He parted my lips and put his tongue inside me. I moaned. Then he stopped and went towards my neck. He grabbed my breast making me shiver and moan again.

Time seems to freeze when he touched me. I finally grabbed my courage and pushed him back and I ran without looking at him. I rushed to the washroom and splashed it with water again and again.

"No, it can't be ." I looked at the mirror and looked at the reflection in front of me.

"Shit he gave me hickeys. Shit “ I cursed.

"Now I have to hide this. Give me a break “ I was on fire. My cheeks were flushed. My lips were red from that deep kissing. I look messed up. I need to hide from my parents.

Mike POV

It had been days since I last saw her. 7 days of pure torture. My wolf had lost his patience. Our exams were about to start so maybe I could get a glimpse of her. We were allotted, separate classes. It was really a pain in my heart.

She did it again. She ran away again from me. Every single day.

"Damn it, now I have to wait again for two months. “ I was losing patience.

I decided to have a closer look at her. I need to get into her house. I sneak out of my home at noon and rushed towards her house.

The full moon was casting shadows over her house. I jumped through her window to get a closer look. I couldn't able to break the window but I saw her sleeping peacefully in her small bed. I don't remember how long I stayed there. But I knew I liked watching her sleep and someday she gonna be sleeping in my bed.

“You need to tell her she is your mate. “ My wolf said.

I have to tell you about it. But the problem lies with my father. He was the alpha of this city. A very powerful businessman. He controls everything happening in this city. He was very strong that no one dares to speak with him. He always wanted my mate to be a werewolf and not a human. If he finds out about my mate he may force me to reject her or worse may abolish her from this big city. The worst was my uncle, my dad's elder brother who ruled our country. The most powerful alpha. He was very strong like my dad. He had the strength to crush everything that made him angry. He could use dominance on other werewolves and humans. He wanted me to become the next alpha in my city. Everyone in my family was powerful enough to ruin her.

“ I don't care about my father anymore and I don't mind my uncle. I am gonna tell her everything. “ I told my wolf on my way home.

Time seems to be stuck between us. Then night disappeared and morning came.

"Mom, I am going to college" I spoke while tying my shoelace.

“But you are too early today. Does something happen that I wish to know about " she asked me?

“ No, it's just that I have something to do. See you. Byee"

I got on my bike and rode towards my college. I looked for my class where I finally found it. I was surprised to see her sitting there with a boy?

I don't like her sitting with anyone else besides me. “You are in my seat man. Move “ I glared at him. I wanted to throw him away from my girl. But the next words shock me.

That guy was her friend and she wanted to sit with him. The firm determination on her face made me sad. Then I gave up. I don't want to make her angry with me.

I saw them in the canteen laughing. I saw her hugging him which made my blood boil. She was happy with him which made me sad. That should have been me sitting with her. I need to have a better talk with him. But before that, I need to have a better look at her.

I headed to the library. I sneak behind her. She was looking gorgeous than before. Her new hairstyle looks beautiful on her face. I don't care which style she chose because she will always be a queen to me.

I suddenly grabbed her and pushed her to the storeroom. Then I kissed her till her lips turned red as a tomato. She was enjoying my kiss and getting excited which made me turned on but I needed to control myself so I stopped forcing myself on her. She was so shy to even look at me.

I headed to the soccer field to find Aaron talking with our coach.

“He is playing in our team huh. Let’s have a small chat regarding who is the boss around here. “

He was giving me a headache. Was he trying to steal her away from me? Because I won't allow him to do that.
