Chapter 90: Chapter 90
Chiyoko held his hand that had slid into her clothes, squinted at him and sneered, "Don't you like killing people? Then help me kill someone." A coldness emerged at the corner of her mouth, her beautiful face twisted with cruel beauty!
Philip was shocked by this request once again, "Who? Who do you want to kill?"
"All the women who appear around Maxwell! Especially Flora White, she must die!" Chiyoko gritted her teeth and said fiercely. Then, looking at his shocked expression, she jeered, "What? Can't do it? Then put away your lustful heart!"
"This small matter, do you think it can defeat me? But, my dear Miss Chiyoko, do you know how jealous I am? For another man, you can be so disregarding!" After Philip finished speaking, he turned her around and forcefully pushed her onto the bed. His muscular body quickly pressed against her, and his rough kisses fell upon her like raindrops, on her body, on her face!
Chiyoko closed her eyes slightly, allowing him to do as he pleased on her body, willing to endure Philip's overwhelming demands in order to remove those obstacles and successfully be with Maxwell. She convinced herself that it was just ordinary love-making. Chiyoko comforted herself again and again like this!
After Flora ran all the way to the bus stop, she took the bus directly home. It was only when she reached her doorstep that she realized what she had just experienced. The problem was that Chloe was still waiting for her at the hospital. The thought of it made Flora freeze in place. Her scalp tingled as she imagined Chloe's terrifying anger, sending shivers down her spine.
She took out her phone and cautiously dialed Chloe's number. After only one beep, a deafening roar came from the other end. Flora was startled and quickly hung up. She couldn't hear anything!
"Wow... it really was a painless surgery." Auntie Grace, who had come out of the house, exclaimed in surprise, looking Flora up and down who seemed perfectly fine. "How do you feel? I also prepared some soup for you. Come in and drink it."
Flora looked at Auntie Grace's expressive face, opened her mouth, and struggled to speak, "Auntie, I didn't have surgery..."
Auntie Grace was taken aback, exclaiming, "Why? Oh my god! No wonder you seemed so unaffected, oh..."
"Auntie, I want to keep this child." Flora looked steadily at Auntie Grace, knowing very well that Auntie Grace would not support her decision. However, she really couldn't bring herself to have an abortion.
If it weren't for meeting Maxwell in the hospital just now, maybe she would have gone through with the abortion. After the chaos caused by Maxwell, she sat on the bus for a long time, calming down, and felt that she should keep this child!
Suddenly, she found it somewhat ironic. Was it a divine arrangement? Sending Maxwell at the most critical moment. Timely intervention to stop her impulsive actions. Could this be the special bond between parent and child? How bizarre!
Auntie Grace was indeed shocked by her words and said in surprise, "Why the sudden change of heart? Do you really want to drag it along for the rest of your life? Flora, it will truly ruin you, trust me! Just look at me and you'll know." Auntie Grace pointed at herself anxiously, trying to persuade her.
Flora shrugged indifferently, pretending to be cheerful, and chuckled, "It's okay, regardless of the outcome, I've accepted it. The heavens have given me this child for a reason, I hope it won't be too bad."
"Heavens? It's obviously given by that man! You really know how to console yourself. That man named Kevin, if I catch him, I'll kill him!" Auntie Grace angrily exclaimed, not pleased with Flora's words, looking frustrated.
Hmph! She detested this kind of unfaithful man the most in her entire life. One day, she would find this man and avenge Flora, to relieve her of this resentment!
"Auntie..." Flora grinned and wrapped her arms around Auntie Grace's arm, playfully swaying and pouting. "I know you're looking out for me, but I really can't bear to do it. I feel like it would be so unfair to this baby, too cruel."
Auntie Grace looked at her innocent and kind face and suddenly remembered her own younger days when she couldn't bear to let go, which was why she kept Chloe. It was the instinct of being a mother, something that many people naturally expressed.
And Flora happened to be this loving girl. How could she force her to do something she didn't want to do? Auntie Grace let out a soft sigh, patting her hand gently and speaking softly, "Ultimately, it's up to your own thoughts on this matter. It's your own life, and I can't force you, can I?"
"Oh, thank you, Auntie. Let's go inside. I want to drink the soup made by you." Flora excitedly pulled Auntie Grace towards the house, her excitement visible on the outside, but her was sadness only known and felt by herself!
Deep down, she was still conflicted. Auntie Grace was experienced and everything she said was reasonable. But the most important thing was that this baby belonged to Maxwell. How could she bring the child of her enemy into this world?
After adjusting her mindset, when Flora stepped into the hotel again, she silently prayed that Kevin had already forgotten about her, a small figure. That he would leave her alone and no longer ask her to be his personal assistant.
Because as his personal assistant, she hadn't done anything. She just accompanied him everywhere, which she couldn't stand due to his face that looked exactly like Maxwell's, and his evil personality, which made her feel oppressed.
Luckily, she was now certain that Kevin and Maxwell were not the same person. Oliver had been staying in England, and she didn't believe he would suddenly become the heir of the Davis family. Hopefully, it wasn't him!
