Kate is officially the most serious person I know I can't believe she really stalled the whole story till we got to the castle

Right now,she's getting her hair all up in feathers yelling that somebody get her a chilled drink

She replied me rolling her eyes as usual

Oliver says to her yelling for a maid

Oliver yells to the group of maids standing in a corner

She was demonstrating as she spoke but stopped because the maid had come in with her drink

And again she stops, I had my head bent to the floor so I didn't immediately see her

I was about yelling at her for trying to stall again, but when I looked up at her and saw her gasping for air with blood coming out of her nose and mouth I suddenly became panic striken

I think both Oliver and I must have moved at the same time because we got to her side at the same time

Christ!!! Hey what's happening to her"

Oliver asked me, worry clearly written on his face

If he's expecting a reply from me,he's got it all wrong because I don't even know what is happening to her

I can't breath,my chest feels like"....

And just before she can even complete that statement she slumps into my arms unconscious

Katerina!!! Open your eyes"

I frantically say to her as I keep shaking her body that was becoming lifeless with each passing seconds

I think she was poisoned"

Oliver said to me looking back at the glass that's still on the table

I pick Kate up in my arms and make for the bedroom

Call the royal healer Oliver and ask father to send for Maryanne" I order Oliver taking the steps two at a time

She's getting colder and her fingers are turning blue,I don't want to think that she might die

I'm on it Damian,I'll be back"

Oliver answered me from downstairs

Not like I did pay attention to any other thing that he would say, my problem now is getting Katerina back on her feet

Xina's POV

Finally my plans is coming into action, she slumped down a minute after she'd taken the poison

Too bad the maid that served the drink doesn't know that I had poisoned the drink,now she'll be the one to be blamed

Miss,the second prince has been sent to get the doctor,if the doctor arrives it will cause a hitch with your plans"

Kenny said to me as I stand from a corner watching and making sure that the poisoned had worked

Well Kenny that's another problem but we'll just have to make sure the doctor doesn't get here on time or we'll kill him on the way here"

I say to Kenny an evil grin lingering on my lips

But that would be too much miss,what if you killing him backfires"

Kenny asked again

That's none of your business Kenny,I've gone extra miles already,so one more death added is nothing to me, now excuse me I've got to make sure the witch and doctor don't get here till that Kate is dead rather than stand here and get negative vibes from you"

I spat angrily at Kenny

I've gone through all risk to make sure am the next queen of the vampire clan,I even had to destroy my other self to be where I am today

I'm so lucky that bitch hadn't said my name before the poison had worked,as for that Lola girl I'll get her later but right now I have to make sure Katerina doesn't see the light of day again....

Oliver's POV

I've been waiting outside this room for the past ten minutes and I don't have the time to waste

I had called Dr Wilson and he had told me to wait for him outside while he went in to get his bags and waiting I had been but I'm out of patience

Getting into the inner room I'm just in time to see someone struggling with the doctor trying to inject him some kind of stuff

" Help me Oliver"

He groaned from underneath the persons grip

I run to help him out but the person takes off immediately,I help the doctor to a stool

What happened doc,who was that person"

I ask him handing him a glass of water

I don't know either, but the person just jumped on me a soon as I'd taken my bags had injected some vervain into me causing me to be weak"

He answered me trying hard to regain his breath

We need to get to the castle Wilson or Damian will personally kill us"

I say to the doctor helping him up and holding his bags to my side

I need that antidote in the bag or I'll be unconscious before we get to the castle"

He replied me reaching for the bag in my hand and taking out a small bottle and gulping down something that was the antidote

After he had taken the antidote we both moved out of the house...

♠ Damian's POV♠

I feel like I'm breaking inside,just sitting here and looking at her getting pale with each second is

horrible to me

Oliver should have been her by now with either the witch or the doctor, but right now Anna is placing a damp wet cloth on her head

Still thinking of going to get the doctor myself the door opens and Oliver walks in while Anna walks out with the bowl to give us privacy

Where the heck have you been,all you had to was whoosh there and back"

I say to Oliver my frustrations building up into anger

Doctor Wilson was attacked after I had told him his presence was needed" Oliver says to me keeping a strong gaze at Kate

I guess he too is worried about her,it's surprising how Katerina had finally felt at ease with him being around her

Wilson's voice snaps me from my thoughts as I nod in approval for him to check Kate

After taking a look at her, touching her hands, checking her eyes and monitoring her breath he was done

It seems to me sire that she was poisoned"

Wilson said to me turning away from Kate to face both Oliver and I

Oliver said as he went out of the room but was back in a jiffy

Handing the glass cup that Kate had drank from,he gives it to doctor Wilson who inspects it

Just as I said,she was poisoned with vinegar powder,very strong and brutal for humans" Doctor Wilson said after smelling the glass cup

Am furious right now that if I could get a hold of the person who did this,I'd kill the person in an instant

Gather all the maids and question them Oliver, especially the one that served us the drinks"

I turn to Oliver as I instruct him on what to do

I'll do that right away"

Oliver replied me walking out the room

I know it's hard to find out if she'll survive but I need to know if she has a chance of surviving,right now her breath is slowly getting normal

So doctor Wilson is there anything we can do to get her all better"

I ask the doctor as I move close to Kate on the bed and hold her hand in mine

The only way you'd have been able to save her was by giving her your vampire blood but apparently that's not needed"

He replied me going through some stuff in his bag and fixing up some kind of potion

What do you mean it's not needed,I need her up on her feet again, I just want that crazy girl I

I ask him almost yelling at him and getting all emotional

I could see him look at me with puzzlement in his eyes, they had never seen their badass prince exhibit so much emotion for anybody

But Kate isn't just anybody,she's special,she's bold, fearless and reckless like me, just the way I'd have loved my better half to be

He replied me still focusing on the potion he was making

I'm not sure he knew the impact his words had made on me, did he just say " baby" like pregnant?? Kate is pregnant with a vampire child that is mine?? I probably didn't hear him well

After some moments of silence,he had to turn and see if I was ok

He asked me showing concern as he came close to me

I ask him trying to be sure that the words I had heard before weren't a trick

I said she had been healed by her child,you do know that she's pregnant right?" He questioned me giving me a quizzical look

I try to say but Wilson interrupts me

He replies me packing up probably to leave

Handing me a bottle that contains some liquid

Give her that potion mixed with tea, she'll be out for at least three days, thanks to the baby she'll be fine, but see to it that she doesn't take anything that's not been checked by you"

He ordered me giving me instructions not like I'm even listening to him

I say to him giving him a handshake and showing him out of the room

Coming back to sit beside Kate,I can't believe she's pregnant and I'm gonna be a dad

I just wonder how she's gonna take the topic when she's awake but now I have more than enough reason to protect her and my little princess...

♣ Xina's POV♣

I can't believe the guy I sent to make Wilson unconscious failed, giving excuses of Oliver

popping in

But thankfully Maryanne has been locked up for the meantime,I would have killed her but I might need her help later

After the failed mission,I ventured to go to the castle and tend to pretend by fussing over Kate like I cared but just to get eyes and suspicion off me

Getting there I'm in time to hear that doctor tell Damian that her baby healed her

Hold up!!!

Baby??? She's pregnant??"

I kept thinking to myself unable to grasp this word

If she's pregnant that means I've half way failed with my plans,and I can't allow that

I have to stop this,I have to do something to get rid of that girl" I say to myself

I clearly hear Damian telling Wilson to keep it a secret,too bad for him I already know

Even if my plan A,B and C fail I've got more plans all the way to the last alphabet and beginning again, Katerina can't have Damian or my spot, I've worked way too hard to have that bitch push me into a corner....
